This is an iconic ice cream place from the past. Huge servings and the price is below reasonable. The staff was friendly. The choices were tremendous. Don't miss this place

Ice cream is good. Food is what you'd expect, eh. No CC accepted. Cash only in 2024. Why?

We always come to Longhorn every time we come visit my mother in law. We originally wanted Indian…read morefood but they were closed on Sunday so we chose our true and good spot. This place never lets us down. It's always great food, great service and never disappoints. There was a small wait at check in being Sunday with the after church crowd. The people waiting were all dressed up in their Sunday's best. Our hostess seated us and we ordered our drinks with our waitress. I decided to try the Spinach dip which was highly recommended by a fellow Yelper. I'm so glad I tried it because it was delicious! It's the best appetizer I had: Ever! It was hot and cheesy with bold delicious flavors and the pita was large and perfectly fried and crispy. I will order this every time we go! I decided on a burger because I was craving one. I opted for the salad instead of fries with their delicious homemade ranch dressing. My burger was so big, I could barely take a bite. I ate half and took the rest home. It was cooked to my liking: medium well and was good, no complaints. My husband's steak was the winner. He gave me a small bite and I started to regret my choices. I think I will get the steak next time. It was to die for. We had another wonderful dinner here. Our waitress was great! Our food was great. The price was great! We will be back next time we are in town. The reason it did not get 5 stars: bathroom needed cleaned and the ribs were not available. My mother in law loves their ribs and although her Filet was delicious, she was really hoping to have her ribs.

We arrived with a party of 10 people (6 adults & 4 children), looking forward to dining together to celebrate my sons birthday. However, we were refused service on the basis of our group size. While I understand that restaurants may have policies regarding large parties, the way the situation was handled felt dismissive and lacking in accommodation or effort to offer alternatives. There was no attempt to seat us other than they told us we could sit in separate sections. Good customer service includes making reasonable efforts to accommodate guests or, at the very least, communicating policies clearly and courteously. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those expectations. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration to improve how similar situations are handled in the future.

LongHorn Steakhouse - Not trying it would be a crime! Our Outlaw Ribeye is bone-in, well-marbled, fire-grilled, juicy, and delicious.

It was partly because of our great waiter, Anton. I read some other reviews saying he was great and I agree. Genius and genuinely great guy. I got a strawberry pizzokie and it's safe to say it did not disappoint. Best one I had. Over great, Anton need a raise.

Comes with soup or salad and two additional sides. I got chicken tortilla soup., tomato mozz salad and brussels sprouts. My hubs did the double bone in pork chop with chicken tortilla, rice and asparagus. Both meats were Uber tender. Almost too tender. The chicken tortilla soup was nice. I also quite liked the tomato mozz salad. The asparagus was perfect. Happiness. I thought my sprouts were a clunker. The weird sauce was not to my palette. My husband's rice was meh. My big pet peeve was tiny tiny containers of sauce both au just and horseradish for my prime rib. Just chintzy. Of course the specials came with infamous (apparently- we had no idea) pizookies. What the hell is a pizookie? I asked myself the same. And undercooked cookie with ice cream and assorted toppings. My salted caramel tasted more chocolate chip to me. It was OK. My husband's strawberry shortcake with strawberry slices on a sugar cookie was MUCH better. At least it tasted like advertised. We'd go back.
