I went with their large Tom Turkey Sandwich for $10.95 (Thanksgiving sandwich) and paid at the register on the other side of the room. It was large indeed, and stuffed full. He was incredibly helpful with picking the menu and his suggestions and questions helped to think through all of the details. When I was unsure, his suggestions were perfect. I was able to coordinate and plan from across the country and he managed everything locally including selecting the right room at the facility for our event. Little details to big were all handled perfectly and the evening was low stress for me. All of the guests commented on the food and the caterers with high complements. We worked with Lombardo's to host our 5th annual Fall Formal fundraiser for Dana-Farber. This is a…read more750+ person annual black tie event in Boston. This was our first time working with Lombardo's and we were also switching to a new venue for the event (Black Falcon Cruise Terminal in the Seaport). David, Joanne, and Francesca asked if they could join a meeting with the whole fundraiser committee so that they could get a better feel for exactly what we wanted and how to deliver it. They also requested a to join a site video and helped consult us on the floor plan of the event. On the day of the event the core Lombardo's team showed up at 10am to start helping us set up for our 8:30pm event. Once the rest of the staff arrived, David huddled his whole team together to go over the game plan for the night and to set expectations with the staff, reminding them of things such as no cell phones! Historically, food had never been a big part of the event but that certainty changed this year. We received incredible reviews from the attendees of the event and will definitely be working with Lombardo's again next year!

I think they would have enjoyed the spread as much as I did. A massive tray each of meat lasagna, meatballs and huge cheese ravioli. A large pan of antipasto, with a creamy Italian dressing on the side. There had to be 30 people there and we barely ate half of it. Even the hard to please kids looked happy! Most of us were very happy to get leftovers to take home. My only regret is remaining unaware of the tray of cannoli and eclairs until there were only one of each left. I guess I'll just have to work that out in therapy.
