We attended an event recently and was served some chicken dish with 80% pasta, 10% onions and 10% chicken. Anyone knows that onions overpower something as mild as chicken. And the pasta was mushy and tasteless. Had to leave most of the dinner and not eat it. Can not think of a reason for enjoying their offerings again. Too bad, we would like to support local businesses in this environment but we will find a competitor when the time comes again. read more

So this place is supposed to be a high-end catering spot. They serve take out that you can grab for home. It's pricy and the portions are small. I ordered a 3 meat combo which came to about $25 And I got the saddest meal ever. One black container for one meal. I got pull pork, brisket and ribs. They give me all fatty parts from the dry brisket. The pulled pork came with no bun and barely any smoke taste. The ribs were good, but some were still red. They gave my sides in small black dressing cups. This is a sad excuse for a high-end barbecue spot. They dont spent hours cooking your meats. You can tell that it is a rush on their cooking method. There are better barbecue spots in Raynham. Texas would be very disappointed in this satis used for BBQ. Don't come here, unless you want to feel robbed. read more

Ordered catering (party 2 go) from Chef's table. The steak tips were nice and med rare...perfect for being able to heat up more and not be overcooked. The spicy peanut noodles are amazing! Even days later... The peanutbutter cookies were so delicious. The Caesar salad dressing was amazing. And loved the potato salad. The chicken w/ asparagus and brie was a little dry. Probably wouldn't order that again but would most likely be great if you picked up/served hot. read more

I was excited to work with Chef's Table for my wedding since they were based out of Marshfield (where the wedding was), got excellent reviews, and had a reputation of being very professional from other wedding vendors in the area. Unfortunately, they were extremely difficult to work with so we ended up eating the deposit and selecting another caterer, who turned out to be amazing and demonstrated how inflexible and expensive Chef's Table was in comparison. The first issue was scheduling a tasting - they weren't able to squeeze me in during the month that I was still working in the area, so I had to make a 4 hour trip (during week day working hours only of course) from Vermont months later (precious time when you're trying to plan a wedding in less than a year). Most of the food was pretty good, but it wasn't at all the menu we'd been discussing for months. They served us chicken and mashed potatoes when we were expecting the New England station with lobster rolls and clam chowder. Most of the apps were actually what we discussed, but when all 4 of us (including the in-laws who came up from NJ for this) gave the same feedback that the crab cake's seasoning was off, they replied with "well that's just how it is." The "event manager" that I'd been emailing back and forth with (and who had a $1,000 admin fee tucked into the contract) wasn't there for the tasting to hear our feedback or discuss event details. We didn't want to complain to the chef and other staff because it wasn't their fault they weren't properly informed about our menu. When I brought up in email afterwards that I was confused about why we never tasted our discussed dinner & dessert, she was unapologetic. Rather than offering another tasting or refunding our $200, she tried to shift the blame to me by saying I didn't respond to an email, when in fact, she was the unresponsive one! This was just the last in a long string of issues. Another was the refusal to staff less than 3 bartenders, despite the fact that this was a backyard wedding where we would have kegs and a row boat filled with self-service drinks. We ended up saving about $7,000 by switching to a new caterer, who worked with us to create the exact menu we wanted, came to our house at a time we chose for our tasting, and helped with so many aspects like site design. read more

She helped me plan the menu to fit with my Palm Beach inspired theme. The food was delicious and beautifully presented by three servers who were amazing. Susan, Kate, and Adam set up the rental furniture, the buffet, and hand passed appetizers to my guests. My guests thoroughly enjoyed the food as well as the service. The food was delicious and we got so many compliments on it. Julie, Lauren, and Makayla were extremely helpful throughout the planning process and always prompt to respond when I had a question, concern, or request. When our rental company fell through just a few months before the wedding, they were there to help us find all the replacements. Attended the wedding reception of Labonville/Campbell that was catered by The Chef's Table today. They served several appetizers from lobster rolls, oysters on the half shell to beef bites on toast just to name a few. The main course was flank steak, shish-k- bobs, large variety of grilled veggies and several other sides. There was a huge variety and everything was prepared to perfection and presented beautifully.
