Amazing service, wonderful people, and the food ranging from a Tuscan table, scallops wrapped in bacon, arancini, chicken skewers, etc and a dessert table with the couple's favorite cannolis was delicious!! We had relatives from out of state and friends we hadn't see for a while and they were impressed with Mia's Catering. Thank you Emilie, Aly, & Karen you helped make a wonderful memory.

It was mostly an assortment of sandwiches and roll-ups. Everyone seemed to enjoy them. The roast beef was amazing, with a delicious horseradish sauce. Tuna salad was fresh and made with just the right amount of mayo. Caesar salad was excellent, crisp and fresh. Chicken broccoli and ziti was really good, and I was happy to get some leftovers for lunch the next day. There was also a large assortment of dessert and baked goods served with coffee. Little cheesecake bites, cannoli and cream puffs were delicious. There were a lot more to choose from, but I was pretty full by that point. My family was very happy overall and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I've been to a couple of dinner parties and they ordered from them. I've always enjoyed my meal. Can't remember anything that disappointed me. However, when you are home and are eating it for a couple of day, I can now honestly write my review. Lasagna: I liked it. There Lasagna isn't a typical Lasagna. It's sweet. HUH? Yep, it's sweet. Now, I don't know if they add sugar to their sauce or a type of Sweet Tomato or sweet herbs (though i can't think of any) they put into their Lasagna. There is a meat in the Lasagna I'm not sure is beef. Could be a grounded sweet Italian sausage? My entire family thinks so. When you dig deep into this Lasagna, you won't find a lot of Ooey Gooey Mozzarella or other cheeses. The Ricotta is definitely the show. Chicken Broccoli Ziti: I liked it. It needs more salt. The chicken is not cut up within the pasta (see picture) it's laid over the Ziti as chicken fingers. I think they should give you a couple of more chicken pieces. Garden Salad: I liked it. I thought the presentation was unique. The vegetables were fresher. And I love black olives, so I was elated. Now, when I got to the bed of lettuce, the top layer was fresh lettuce, but the lettuce under that wasn't great, it had started changing colors to brown which means it had been exposed to air too long, or the lettuce was older. That was disappointing. I went through the salad and discarded those lettuce pieces. House Dressing: I like it. Would I eat from Smith's Catering again? Yes Happy Eats

I was a little unsure of what to expect at first but decided to be adventurous. The food was beyond words, only on Yelp you get words and pictures (and I didn't take any... oops). Let me start by saying everything here, meats, sauces, and relishes, are made from scratch. The only thing that comes pre-made is the rolls. Everything else is made with love, something commercially made products never had. I started with the brisket... Grilled to perfection, and seasoned oh-so-wonderfully! A melt in your mouth experience, and one that pairs amazingly with the BBQ mustard. I will be paying for that deliciousness in the gym at a later date... Even if every muscle and tendon is aching after, worth it, and I'd happily do it again. By the way, I love the sauce thing they have going here, the meats are great by themselves, but the sauces add a whole new dimension of flavor! By virtue of the deliciousness, and because of how interesting it is, I couldn't resist trying the onion bomb. Bacon-wrapped hamburger with onion. Again, I was a little skeptical but went for it anyway. This work of art is like a good, old whiskey... smooth as silk, with the meat having a great amount of moisture. Like the brisket, seasoned to perfection. Flavors played really nicely together, and the meat was nice and moist. Looking forward to trying more great stuff next time!

Mark was an absolute pleasure to work with, he was not only responsive, he also helped me to estimate the right amount of food needed and he was spot on. I will definitely be calling them again for future events. They are reasonably priced, provide excellent food, offer an array of options and have excellent customer service. However, be advised that for a house party, you may need to arrange pick up rather than it being delivered. The advantages far outweighed the inconvenience of finding someone to pick it up.If you need a caterer, look no further.

I have never hired a personal chef before, so I didn't have any expectations, but our meals were TRULY awesome. She made for us, mussels in tomato broth, fish with asparagus and tomatoes and olives, beef with mushroom risotto and this espresso chocolate custard that I could've eaten for the rest of my life for every meal. Not only was the food beyond exceptional but Erynn is on-time, responsive, calm, and, while friendly, is a tough cookie. She was put in a situation with a tiny kitchen with very little room to maneuver and she didn't come to me with problems, she just figured out how to make it work. And her price structure is beyond reasonable. There were some issues but they were more the fault of my planning. But you live and learn. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend South End Chef and I hope I have reason to hire Erynn again. Her onion tarts are going on my Top 10 list of "Best Things I Have Ever Put In My Mouth".
