Scott and his son catered a bbq cookout for our daughter. The food was great, they were punctual, brought everything, and accommodated changes we requested (brought some vegetarian options for family). All our guests commented on how good the food was and how fun the pig roast was. All leftovers were packed up for us, sauces left as well. We had a really excellent experience with The Catering Boss for our daughter's graduation party on 8/8/2020. We had a pig roast with BBQ chicken, steak tips, corn bread and their delicious BBQ sauces. They set everything up grilled and roasted on site. They served our guests and were great guys to work with. Our guests raved about all the food and the amazing smells coming from the roaster all day. They cleaned everything up, packed up all our left overs and brought them into our house. They made everything easy and we will definitely be using them again in the future. They just did a great job with an Oktoberfest birthday party for my husband. Lots of critical German input and experienced pig roasters among the guests and they got thumbs up all around. do not recommend. very poor communication. i booked him for an event next year, he never sent me a contract to sign just told me to send him a $500 deposit check. something came up so I asked to cancel and be refunded and he said it's nonrefundable. thats not mentioned anywhere on his website or any of his emails to me. i asked him to explain and he said I'm young and don't know how things work, and told me good luck. read more

Scott and Haydee catered a pig roast at our son's outdoor college graduation party two weeks ago for about 60 people...in torrential downpours...the food was delicious and they took care of EVERYTHING, down to the littlest details...all side dishes, cornbread, paper goods, and homemade barbecue sauces (so yummy). We seriously did not have to worry about a thing (except an extra tarp or two for the KanJam area!!) They were very professional and personable and you can tell they absolutely love what they do. Several of our guests grabbed business cards so they can use them for upcoming events. I Hired The Catering Boss to cater my outdoor wedding of 150 people. We wanted to serve our favorite foods so we had had passed burger sliders, wings, and mushroom caps and then for the dinner we had a buffet pig roast, with veggies, mac and cheese, grilled chicken and steak tips. Thank goodness we only had one vegetarian guest!!! I hired them over a year before the wedding date and actually I hired them before we even had a venue. I did all my dealings with Scott who was very accommodating even though I kept changing the date and location until I finally found the right venue for us. Through out the planning process Scott would check in with me and makes sure I didn't have any questions. My favorite part about hiring them was how soothing Scott was. Planning a wedding and dealing with so many different vendors can get really overwhelming and stressful but Scott would just say everything is all set, don't worry about a thing. They came all the way to Cape Cod from Hanson. The food was fantastic!!! The staff was great!!! and the award winning BBQ sauce is to die for!!! They arrived at the wedding about 2 hours before the reception started. They filled all the water pitchers on the 20 tables and set and cleared all the tables. They did a great clean up. We got to keep all the left over food. Including the rest of the BBQ sauce which I have hidden in the back of the fridge so I don't have to share. My step daughter doesn't like pork and i caught her eating the pork right out of the refrigerator. It was that good!!! They even let my friend keep the pig head (I don't want to know.) I would highly recommend the Catering Boss for any event. They do a fantastic job, are enjoyable to deal with, and have great prices! read more
