There is no place to sit, and it is quite small. Now on to the food... ordered the macaroni and cheese plate + jerk lobster and shrimp. According to the menu, this plate comes with plantain, salad and pikliz. As you can tell from my picture, I did not receive the plantain or the pikliz. The food costs $38 which is absorbent for the portion and when you pay for something you do not receive. The macaroni and cheese was edible, salad was basic, and the jerk lobster and shrimp had good flavor. Overall, I would not go back, but I do think if you're curious, you should check it out yourself-- be sure to check your order. As a side note, they give you free lemonade. It tasted watered down, though the act is nice.

Even though they were on the higher end of our budget, the team worked with us to create a menu that matched what we wanted while still being affordable. We mostly worked with Anne, who was amazing throughout the entire planning process! She answered every single email so quickly, reached out to other vendors on our behalf, and was so organized that we never felt like we needed a wedding coordinator. On the wedding day, they arrived early and had everything set up before we even got there. They also managed the full room flip, turning the ceremony space into the reception space during cocktail hour, and our guests never even realized it was happening. The staff was kind, attentive, and professional the entire day. Isabelle, our head server, took such great care of us! She made sure we always had food and drinks in hand and that we didn't miss out on anything during cocktail hour or dinner. And the food was every bit as good as it had been at the tasting. We chose buffet style, and everything was fresh, hot, and flavorful. It honestly tasted like it had been made for each guest individually, which is so impressive for a buffet. Even the chicken stayed perfectly juicy! They also served plated salads during the toasts, which was such an excellent idea. For dessert, we skipped the cake and went with their roaming cannoli service. It was such a hit! A chef walked around to each table piping fresh cannolis with toppings for every guest, and people are still talking about how fun and delicious it was! At the end of the night, the team broke everything down and packed up just as efficiently as they had set it up. They took care of everything so that we didn't have to worry about anything. The only problem today was very slow service. I was worried about being on time to pick up our preschooler. We got there a little before 1 pm but didn't leave until after 2:20 pm... Tuna salad was fresh and made with just the right amount of mayo. Caesar salad was excellent, crisp and fresh. Chicken broccoli and ziti was really good, and I was happy to get some leftovers for lunch the next day. There was also a large assortment of dessert and baked goods served with coffee. Little cheesecake bites, cannoli and cream puffs were delicious. There were a lot more to choose from, but I was pretty full by that point. I've been to a couple of dinner parties and they ordered from them. I've always enjoyed my meal. Can't remember anything that disappointed me. However, when you are home and are eating it for a couple of day, I can now honestly write my review. Lasagna: I liked it. There Lasagna isn't a typical Lasagna. It's sweet. HUH? Yep, it's sweet. Now, I don't know if they add sugar to their sauce or a type of Sweet Tomato or sweet herbs (though i can't think of any) they put into their Lasagna. There is a meat in the Lasagna I'm not sure is beef. Could be a grounded sweet Italian sausage? My entire family thinks so. When you dig deep into this Lasagna, you won't find a lot of Ooey Gooey Mozzarella or other cheeses. The Ricotta is definitely the show. Chicken Broccoli Ziti: I liked it. It needs more salt. The chicken is not cut up within the pasta (see picture) it's laid over the Ziti as chicken fingers. I think they should give you a couple of more chicken pieces. Garden Salad: I liked it. I thought the presentation was unique. The vegetables were fresher. And I love black olives, so I was elated. Now, when I got to the bed of lettuce, the top layer was fresh lettuce, but the lettuce under that wasn't great, it had started changing colors to brown which means it had been exposed to air too long, or the lettuce was older. That was disappointing. I went through the salad and discarded those lettuce pieces. House Dressing: I like it. Would I eat from Smith's Catering again? Yes Happy Eats
