    As of 5/6/22, my family has purchased two cars from this dealership. Last year, I originally wanted a Honda HRV and went to Atlantic and the salesperson was so slimy that my husband decided that was not the place for us. Looked at a few other Honda dealerships and got the same feeling from each. Remembered that a guy in my running group sold cars and decided to come in and see Jon. I was up front about what I was able to pay each month and he worked with me on a new cx-3 that I absolutely love. I am now a loyal Mazda girl. My husband decided '22 was his year to buy a new car and Jon just helped us find the best interest rate to get him a '23 cx-50 and he loves it. Go see Jon, you won't regret it!!

    I recently helped my sister Patricia buy her new CX-30 at this dealership. We worked with a young woman by the name of Alexandra. Ally, as she goes by was a pleasure to work with and really knew her stuff. She made the buying process extremely easy. It didn't take the usual multiple hours of haggling back-and-forth to get the deal done. She introduced us to David in finance who helped with all the financial paperwork and made that whole experience very easy as well. Finally, Adam walked us thru the entire car and all it's features because Ally was off when we picked up the car. He was awesome and explained everything really well. I would highly recommend using this dealership if you are on Long Island and are in the market for a new Mazda.

    Avoid the service department. The service writers are incompetent and try to rip customers off. Avoid at all costs.

This was a no pressure purchase. I was looking at new vehicles, but I wanted to check out this used vehicle because it had all the bells and whistles. Kyle let me test drive by myself. I liked it. I sat down with the finance guy. I asked them to change the tires for me and it was a deal. I got my all weather mats, used but better tires than what was on there and the car only had 23K miles on it and it's a 2020. Kyle was patient & not pushy even though at the end I found out he needed my sale for his bonus that month. I've had my car now for 6 months. Very happy with my purchase. And happy to not be leasing anymore. But I'm still getting used to the piano keys for a gearshift. I still find that very odd. 5-28-2025

Bought a used vehicle, over 100k miles so I was worried about any type of warranty. Told me they stand by their product and if anything happens shortly after purchase to bring it back and they'll help out. The next day the car started making a whining noise. I called them, set up and appointment, showed up with the car whining and they said it's "not detrimental" to the car and that I need to wait 30 days for my warranty to kick in. I waited 30 days, made an appointment. It took them 2 days to "diagnose it and send the claim request to the warranty company". When I called the warranty company, they had not had any contact with the dealer and the dealer could not tell me what was wrong with the car. I cancelled the warranty on the spot with one of the GMs. It been a month since then, I called the warranty company and they said the dealer has not spoken to them and the warranty is still active. I now have to go through this whole process by myself as the dealer has been absolutely no help and only the owner can help with warranty cancellations. STAY FAR FAR AWAY

I'm not a fan of wasting time at the dealership especially since I already knew what I wanted. Jessica was pleasant through the phone throughout the process. The insurance guy John was really helpful on the phone and helped me deal with all of the insurance changes I need to make. I also spoke to John in finance who also seemed very pleasant on the phone. Once I got to the dealership to pick up my car things went a bit south.. John in finance had left for the day and so I had to deal with Diego who I believe is the finance manager. I don't have a single positive thing to say about Diego. He was extremely rude and condescending. He expected me to just sign without asking any questions when the paperwork and what was previously discussed with Jessica did not match up. He really needs to take a customer service class and learn to have some patience. I am a very straight forward person and I explained to him that his attitude was a major issue and he apologized and blamed Jessica for the "miscommunication". Miscommunication or not taking your frustration out on the customer should never be an option. I am satisfied with my new car not that they helped with the process. I already knew what I was looking for. They just so happen to be the only dealership that was going to get it in the timely manner that I wanted. I don't even get my service done here because I was so turned off by my experience there. Before I bought the car, Jessica was always available. Once I went through with the purchase and I had a question afterwards, she stopped returning my messages, so professional right?

This was such a nice interaction, I am used to dealing with men in this industry where some thing we women are "stupid". Not this woman! I love cars and know what I want. Nina treated me with respect, very polite listen to me. Unfortunately, the car I called about was SOLD. She offered other choices, and said would call me if the deal fell through. She did follow up with me later in the day confirming the car has sold. She offered other cars and letting me know she can look for the car I want. I appreciate that, however I need to move quickly since my car is driving on borrowed time. I found the same car in northern CT and closing the deal. I appreciate this dealerships approach, I loved the fact that I was dealing with women, and I appreciate Natalia following up on my experience asking what could they do to help. I will definitely check this dealership next time I need a car, and I change them often.

I pointed to the handicap sign and that he did not put a placard in his windshield. He smiled and waved me off. He parked in a way that when I pulled in, I could not park and get out of my car. I ended up parking illegally. When I entered I realized he was an employee! I made mention of the parking situation and the salesman looked and said there was room. I told him I tried but because of how he parked, I could not open my car doors. I went to order my part when I saw the salesman talking to a man wearing an arm sling. They were looking directly at me while talking and each had a look of disdain on their faces. I felt very uncomfortable. I paid for my part, where the staff were kind, and left with the same looks from them. I decided to call and speak to the manager. I left a message. That was 12 hours ago. The way I was treated was horrible! The spots for handicap people, like myself, are there for a reason. Parking in a way that I could not access entry felt like it was done frequently. This is not acceptable business behavior. I have purchased 3 vehicles from Smithtown nissan. My Murano is getting old and I was planning on buying a new one soon. I will buy from a different dealership.

Ava left a message on my phone and I tried to reach out 3 times to verify but she never called back. The next day, I drove 1.5 hours to the dealership. I brought my quote to show the salesman. The salesman said that Smithtown Nissan does not do business with TrueCar and that someone acted independently to post this deal on TrueCar. That is complete nonsense. He reiterated what the sales associate said. He was arrogant and stopped the conversation to casually speak to a friend asking me to repeat myself. Being that I drove 1.5 hours to get there and the same distance to get back, they wasted my time. IF THIS HAPPENS TO YOU: There are ways to fight back. Take them to small claims court. AI will guide you through the process. I have only done small claims once before but the dealership has to send a representative after they are served and that is a nuisance. You won't get repaid for your time, but you will earn your gas/toll money back as well as any fees that you pay to file in court. Most importantly, if they mess with you, get them back! It is easy! Most importantly, don't do business with dealers who don't honor posted prices. I walked out of there, called TrueCar customer support (they picked up almost instantaneously) and today I will file in small claims court for 20 dollars in gas. My time will never be repaid, but at least I will be a thorn in their side. PLEASE VOTE THIS UP if you had a similar experience.
