Stopped by after for a test drive with Dennis and went home and thought about. Absolutely NO pressure put on me by anyone. Deninis had given me his cell, so I texted him a couple of questions- and then we actually did the rest via text! I never even had to call anyone. I made an appt to come in and sign the paperwork. Everything was done, ready and as promised and I was out the door in 25 min. Ryan was my finance guy. Gave me takeaway info on the possible warranty- but again, absolutely no pressure or hard sale. So appreciated. I went back because of my first experience and the quality of car and I'm just as pleased with my second experience. This past week my son brought his car to them for something hanging under the car, and was presented with an $800 estimate for a problem with the exhaust system. I thought the exhaust system had been replaced not too long ago, so went through the records for this car and located a bill documenting $1,375 spent for an "entire exhaust system" 4 years ago at their shop. I took a look under the car yesterday and found that the pipe to the rear muffler was so rusted that it broke apart completely so the rear muffler was not attached to the rest of the exhaust system!!! There is absolutely no way a brand new exhaust system could have become so completely rusted that it would fall apart after only 4 years. I am furious that my son was ripped off by these crooks and we will never spend another penny there again!!!

I've been having a run of bad luck recently in respect to my car. After I clocked out for my shift…read moreat MacArthur Airport in July, I returned to my Honda only to discover that I had a flat tire. I got assistance from my co-workers to change the tire to the donut, (not cookie, as I referred to it, generating guffaws from my teammates) and was advised that I shouldn't ride on it all the way home to East Meadow. They recommended that I go to see Eric at RCM on Lakeland Avenue who welcomed me, diagnosed the problem and replaced the tire. Fast forward to yesterday when I returned to my car and found that I had another flat. (I'm thinking what you're thinking, ex-employee seeking revenge perhaps?) Nonetheless, back I go to RCM and Eric's team fixes the tire. What I like about this automotive shop is the kindness of the workers, the willingness to explain the issue, walk me thru the diagnostics, and show me the damage. The waiting room is air conditioned, has a stocked fridge, television, and recent selections of magazines including those that appeal to women. In addition, the entire shop is sparkling clean. I watched Eric blow the debris out of the shop and clean the floor for 30 minutes! Prices are fair and I never feel that I'm being taking advantage of. Woohoo! As good as it gets!
