Great team, great service, never felt pressured, only felt that they wanted my business. Great value on my trade in, never felt like I was being "upsold" anything ... great experience !! read more

Toyota is getting worse and worse. So far the worst dealer to get service at. Made an appointment online and get turned back just because they don't see it. Showing them the confirmation on the phone is not enough. Don't even try them. Gonna trade my Toyota in because their dealers suck. That's why they are trying to lock you in with the finance lock coming up. read more

Want to give a shout out to Jeff K for making my son's car buying experience a most favorable one. From start to finish he and the crew were always on hand to make sure we were satisfied. Thanks and I will sure pass the word for anyone looking to buy a toyota. read more

Big thanks to Jeff and Rocky for making the experience streamlined and painless! The team was quick to help us allocate a car as close to spec as we described within a couple of days and stayed on top of updating us when the car arrived and when it was ready. They helped us with the insurance and finances all before we had come to pick up the car and it's safe to say future business has been earned for when the time comes. read more

After a very poor experience with Advantage Honda down the road, I was very pleased by my experience at Smithtown Toyota. Andrii and Diego helped me pick out a perfect car for my needs and were extremely polite and helpful while doing so. I was offered far better deals on vehicles than local competitors and the process of finalizing the purchase and taking the car home was seemless. I will definitely be coming to Smithtown Toyota again in the future. read more

Traded in my RAV4 for the newer hybrid model at this location. I had called and handled everything over the phone with Jessica so that when I go in all I would have to do is sign the paperwork and be on my way. I'm not a fan of wasting time at the dealership especially since I already knew what I wanted. Jessica was pleasant through the phone throughout the process. The insurance guy John was really helpful on the phone and helped me deal with all of the insurance changes I need to make. I also spoke to John in finance who also seemed very pleasant on the phone. Once I got to the dealership to pick up my car things went a bit south.. John in finance had left for the day and so I had to deal with Diego who I believe is the finance manager. I don't have a single positive thing to say about Diego. He was extremely rude and condescending. He expected me to just sign without asking any questions when the paperwork and what was previously discussed with Jessica did not match up. He really needs to take a customer service class and learn to have some patience. I am a very straight forward person and I explained to him that his attitude was a major issue and he apologized and blamed Jessica for the "miscommunication". Miscommunication or not taking your frustration out on the customer should never be an option. I am satisfied with my new car not that they helped with the process. I already knew what I was looking for. They just so happen to be the only dealership that was going to get it in the timely manner that I wanted. I don't even get my service done here because I was so turned off by my experience there. Before I bought the car, Jessica was always available. Once I went through with the purchase and I had a question afterwards, she stopped returning my messages, so professional right? read more

This is our third lease with Smithtown Toyota and I cannot say enough about how amazing the entire staff is. My husband has leased two Tacomas through them and I now have a RAV4. We've been so pleased with their customer service that we've recommended them to family and friends as well who have bought or leased vehicles from here as well. read more

Amazing experience! Everyone made the car buying process so easy and painless. They listened to everything we wanted out of a car and got us exactly what we were looking for. They didn't try to upsell us on anything. Jeff and Diego were fantastic! read more

Jeff k and Diego were amazing. They helped my daughter get her first new car. My daughter is satisfied and so am I.

I had such an amazing experience, Jeff K. and Diego were extremely helpful. I love my new car.

Been a Toyota owner for 15 years, have gotten other cars from Acura, Ford, Lexus, Honda, Tesla and Porsche. This particular dealership is by far one of if not the most awful dealer I have been to. I tried to service my car (replace a single tire) there and it comes back with a tire pressure warning. The dealer told me sometimes those sensors go out and it needs to be replaced. It just so happened to be the one they serviced. They charged an additional $150 to replace that sensor. I never went back again for service even with their free oil change or discount service promotions that they send out. My wife and I were looking for a car to replace her Prius. We wanted to look at the 2024 BZ4 because we saw an advertisement about the lease offers they had. We test drove the car and when we sat down to discuss the pricing, the salesman starts with an absurd price offer that was sufficiently more than what was advertised. Whenever a salesman only talks in monthly payment numbers, more than likely they are trying to scam. We told him about the online price that was advertised and the manager came and sat down and offered us that price like he was doing us a favor. It was such a slimy and sleezy move that my wife and I immediately left. We bought a 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid Limited from Sunrise Toyota the next weekend. No hassle, no sleezy salesman, no sneaky add ons, no run down showroom and much better customer service. Run! Don't walk and avoid this dealership for any and all transactions, sales or service. There are two much better dealerships 20 minutes away in Huntington (Empire) and by Islip (Sunrise). read more

I am an 82-year-old woman, and I was widowed less than ten months ago at the time of this incident. Our family has been loyal Toyota customers for over 40 years. In fact, my family purchased our first Toyota, a blue four-door Tercel, at this very dealership in 1983. On December 9, 2025, I went to Smithtown Toyota for what I believed was a routine service appointment to have the front brakes repaired on my 2018 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid. Instead of simply servicing my vehicle, the dealership exploited my age, vulnerability, and trust to extract thousands of dollars from me. I was kept at the dealership for approximately five hours, and during that time, I was never offered food or water. I had not eaten prior to the appointment and had only a few sips of water from a bottle I brought myself. Because I have a single kidney, this lack of hydration and nutrition over a prolonged period was medically dangerous. By the time the finance team presented the paperwork, I was physically exhausted. While I was in this compromised state, the staff informed me that my RAV4's registration had lapsed--a task my late husband always managed. They also reviewed the vehicle's title and insurance, which both still had my deceased husband's name on them. They used the anxiety surrounding this paperwork to transition me into a sales target for a new lease. The financial terms they pushed me into were devastating: * They allowed only $11,000 for my 2018 RAV4, which had roughly 53,670 miles on it. * Independent CarMax data shows that an instant cash offer for a RAV4 with similar mileage ranges between $17,600 and $19,000. * They capitalized my new lease for a base-model 2026 Toyota Corolla LE at $32,288, which is nearly $8,000 over the MSRP. * Despite severely undervaluing my trade-in and inflating the new car's price, they still collected $1,700 in out-of-pocket funds from me at signing. I am sharing this to warn others. Do not trust this dealership, and please do not let the senior citizens in your life visit their service department alone. read more

Not a restaurant review today but a Car Dealership. Car dealers usually get a bad rap so it's nice to write something good . I had picked out a used SUV online . My sales guy was Rocky Dentici. Can't say enough good things about him . Everything he said he would do he did . Worked with me on the dollars . When I came in to pick up the car and was doing the paperwork with Craig (another good guy )he was moving everything from the old car to the new one . Who does that ? Plus he's a former tech and can speak the lingo . A really great experience , highly recommended . read more

Worst Express Service Center I have ever experienced in my 20+ years of being a Toyota owner. Service area was difficult to find; driving around the lot asked a worker where the service center was and got shrugged shoulders. After finally figuring out there is no drive-up I headed inside to the service center and received no greeting, just asked if I had an appointment. My appointment was early and it took over an hour for someone to retrieve my vehicle. When my vehicle was complete, the young lady at the desk pushed a paper at me, said sign here and then pushed another set of papers with my key on it towards me and said "here's your paperwork." No explanation or thank you for servicing your vehicle here; nothing from a service tech. Just felt extremely unprofessional and for the amount we pay for these vehicles we should receive excellent customer service. read more

never ever go to this dealership. unprofessional and only care about money and not respect. salesman miranda especially was verbally harassing me and texted unprofessionally. public relations standards are zero to none and the manager promised something and didn't follow through. been a toyota owner for 30 plus years and bought my first car here, never again , telling all friends and family NEVER to go here read more

Salesman didn't seem like he wanted a sale. Did some research and found good reviews on Toyota trucks. Went in there looking to trade in and buy a truck/SUV. The salesman didn't seem to be taking me serious (maybe judging my sweatpants and sweatshirt on a snowy day). Kinda gave me the run around with some crazy pricing, wasn't friendly at all, no personality showed me 1 truck and went back inside to his desk. I didn't like his energy. Went to Mercedes the next day, got treated like a customer and bought an SUV. Maybe don't judge a book by its cover, Toyota... read more

This establishment is not customer centered or works as a team at all. I brought my car in to have a noise in my engine looked at and my rear brakes replaced for a 7:30 appointment I made. During my stay while waiting for my car one of the customer representatives audibly said to a Spanish customer, "sir you don't have to yell " (this individual was not yelling but speaking in a normal tone, and merely trying to articulate the spelling of his name and his phone number). Ive heard similar interactions, as well as non-teamwork oriented comments between crew when I have been here in the past as well. My car was not taken to be seen till 830. When "complete" my rear brakes had been replaced and I was assured that that was the source of the noise. As I leave the parking lot noise is still apparent. I don't believe they even tried to find the source or drive my car to hear it as requested. I gave this place too many chances as it was and I will never be back. read more

Do not come to this dealership, I have never experienced such awful customer service! I went in to test drive one of the vehicles and wasn't sure on buying the day of, the salesman was extremely rude and stated he's there to sell cars and that's it so test driving would waste his time. Mind you, when we walked in 4 salesman were all sitting around watching a football game (clearly they had all the time in the world). They only see you as dollar signs and have no interest in actually helping you. Before leaving, we told him his attitude was unbelievable and he was stunned at the fact that he was called out on it. Will never go here again or recommend it to anyone, went to a different dealership down the street and it was incredible. Go anywhere but here! read more

We purchased our 2019 Rav 4 from this location. I must say the customer service was great. Everyone knows how annoying and painful it can be when purchasing a néw car. But this wasn't painful at all it was actually easier then expected. Customer Service was great and I say that being that we had our 5 year old daughter with us. We have been using a Express service Center to service the car and I must say as long as I have an appointment I'm in and out in under an hour. All the staff is great and never had any complaints read more

Would give them a ZERO, ratings don't work that way. I was looking for a Toyota Part, got the part number from Toyota. I spoke to their parts department and was told $129.95 for part. I've had dealings with these people in the past, the MSRP is $99 per Toyota. NY state law, if they are selling over list price, have to advise customer, which they never do. I'm going to contact BBB. Typical disgrace read more

I've been shopping for a used car, which, as we all know can be an absolute nightmare. I have to prepare myself emotionally for the trauma of dealing with some of these guys. So many scams and gimmicks to be on guard for! I saw a listing online for the car I wanted and went to see Sean at Smithtown Toyota. I couldn't believe when he told me that the car was in stock and it was available at the advertised price. Not only that, there were no shenanigans with additional costs besides the standard DMV stuff. I was pinching myself, but I was also extremely suspicious because I'm so used to being hit with Additional costs when sitting with the finance guy, but it never happened. Yes, they tried to sell me the extended warranty, but that's not exactly a horrible thing. I passed on it and they were not overly pushy about it. This was by far the smoothest, cleanest process I've ever been involved in regarding the purchase of a used car. I highly recommend seeing him if you're on the market for a used car. read more

If it weren't for the free life inspection, I would have given a one-star rating. The wait time for the inspection was over two hours, which is ridiculous. I've since stopped going back. I have been getting my car serviced by Smithtown Toyota for at least 4 years. Never had any issues until yesterday. Dropped my truck off for service picked it up after hours. The next day I noticed a hole near the top of my driver side window that was not there before. Paint all chipped off and not even rusty yet so it was fresh. Looks like it was crushed by something from above. This type of damage can not be caused by everyday parking lot use. They denied everything and told me to call my insurance. Before you go make sure you inspect and take video of your vehicle. They should be doing this anyhow. They state they have no cameras which is hard to believe. Last time I service or buy anything from Smithtown Toyota. read more

I went to test drive today and sales person Tim Payton was awful and rude to me. He left my license in copy machine, had me test drive ALONE, and to top it off after test drive he asked how I liked vehicle which I stated I was not impressed his response was "There must be something wrong with you" instead of asking me why I felt that way. After his rude remark I left. I took my business to a dealer that treats consumers with utmost respect. read more

I just had a great conversation with their service department over the phone earlier today. I found a really good deal on craigslist for an "old" 90's toyota 5 speed that I just couldn't pass up and called Smithtown to see if I could make an appointment for a full tune-up. It was a bit tough to hear each other with the loud equipment and tools going on in the background, so the gentleman on the other line said "one sec" as he quickly stepped into a quieter room. He was kind enough to breakdown what a 120k mile service entails and gave me a ballpark of what to possibly expect. I appreciated the honesty and was able to schedule an appointment for this coming Monday. read more

We purchased our truck almost a year ago a year ago, and the dealership was amazing. However, yesterday was the first time we dealt with the service center and I think their customer service skills are lacking. Brought the truck in first thing at 8:30 for a recall. They said they would call when it was complete. At 4:30, we still hadn't heard from them. When we called, the person who answered wasn't sure and said they were closing and to call back this morning. When we called this morning at 7:30, as soon as they opened, they said the truck was ready yesterday. I'm not quite sure how they thought we would know that with no phone call and why they would think it's ok to keep someone's car overnight without any notice. Not at all happy with that. read more

I live in Maryland but was visiting family at home when my wife suggested heading over to Smithtown Toyota. Her family has purchased all their vehicles from Smithtown Toyota. My wife and I stopped by and my intent was to get some numbers, head back to Maryland and make a decision. I had been to some dealerships in Maryland as well as looking online. I had not planned on making a purchase at that time, I figured it might come back near Thanksgiving if I decided to go with Smithtown Toyota. All of that said, I had a great experience and then I put a fantastic deal and drove a new car back to Maryland two days later when I returned home. They were incredibly patient running through the financial options between buying or leasing on various different models. They walked me through some features and options on some of the cars they had available in the lot that day. The conversations were never forced and I did not feel pressured to make a decision. In the end the numbers were so good and significantly below the quotes I had received in Maryland that it was too good an offer to pass up. I was thrilled with the people, the deal I received, and have been enjoying my new car immensely. The plan is, in three years, to return to Smithtown Toyota for my next vehicle. Actually, the experience was so good that when my wife's ready for a new car in three years we are both going to Smithtown Toyota. read more

I have purchased 6 cars from this dealer. The sales department is great. I have dealt with Tim and he is exceptional. The service department is another story. I have had too many problems to list them all. The most recent was I had my truck detailed and when I picked it up it didnt like like they did anything. They did scratch the headliner and the back of the inside of the trunk was all scratched. There was no shine and the inside was never cleaned. They did the whole job of a full detail in 2&1/2 hours.
