I actually went to another Kia dealership before coming to Smithtown Kia, and after THREE hours of them wasting my time, I walked out completely frustrated. My experience at Smithtown Kia was the complete opposite. There were no games, no pressure, and no wasted time. Gerard was attentive, personable, professional, and incredibly efficient. Not only did he get me an amazing deal, but the entire process was faster and smoother than any car-buying experience I have ever had. I genuinely never expected to have such a positive experience at a car dealership, but Gerard completely changed my perspective. He made everything easy, straightforward, and actually enjoyable. I HIGHLY recommend Smithtown Kia to anyone on Long Island looking for a new vehicle. Do yourself a favor and ask for Gerard Rennie -- you will not be disappointed! Thank you again, Gerard, and everyone at Smithtown Kia!

I have gone to Pep Boys instead of my Kia dealership service garage for about a year now and I am…read morevery happy with their service. I've gone there to have my yearly inspection done, I went there when I got a flat tire, I've gone there to have my oil changed and every time I go it's quick efficient and I'm not spending thousands of dollars on repairs. I don't need. I do not feel any pressure to get any thing fixed with my car that probably doesn't need it. I go at least twice a year for a regular maintenance and when I get my inspection it's quick and I pay for the inspection and go. I just recently had my inspection and my brakes done and I was on my way in less than an hour and a half. I'm always expecting to spend two or three hours because that has been my experience in the past. But now, the last year that I've been going to Pep Boys, I haven't spent more than a couple hours. The longest time I've spent there was because my car was towed in last minute for the flat tire, which is to be expected because people with appointments are taken care of first. I had no problem waiting because I didn't want to cut in line. The Pep Boys in Lake Grove is great and I will continue to go there Oh, and I also should mention that I got a flat tire years ago in a different town and that Pep Boys was just as wonderful. When I thought I was gonna have to get a new tire, they just fixed my tire and I spent 15 bucks. Pep Boys is great and I will continue to bring my car there.

A Tesla should be an easy inspection, there's no engine to check! My wife & I walk to Smithhaven Mall, we window shop, all is right with the world. I walk in and I'm told the car failed inspection. What?! Yes sir, the tint on your windows is not up to code. Wait a second, you passed the car last year?? Yes sir, someone made a mistake and I don't want any problems. You'll have to take it back to your tint shop, let them put a lighter shade of tint that will pass New York State Ins.. I ran outside to the car and ripped off all the tint on the side windows. I went back to the desk with a huge tint ball. Now the car will pass! Idiots. Never again.

Scott, the scammer, should be avoided at all cost. Based on some positive reviews, I brought my…read morerover in for service. He scammed me out of a thousand dollar of totally made up BS work. My car had a sticky shifter that wouldn't stay in Drive, and he "supposedly" changed the entire shifter assembly for almost $800. The shifter got sticky again in 2 months and I brought it to a different mechanic, and he told me it is common for this car and the part cost only $30 and he said the shift assembly was never touched. Scott didn't even replace the necessary part for $30, I was told he only sprayed lubricant on the rust to loosen it so it got rusted and became sticky again. He also supposedly changed the intercooler seals for almost $300 including diagnostic. The engine light came right back on the way home. You can see attached invoice that I didn't make this up. This scumbag absolutely took advantage of people. If you are reading this, please don't fall victim like me to this scammer. Take your business elsewhere. Honest customer like us deserved better treatment. This scammer should be taken out of business.
