This is a small, unassuming diner. We came for a late lunch. Service was great, we were invited in to pick our own table. Waitress was very friendly. I had a fried chicken sandwich and a half-order of fried pickles and jalapeños. My husband had the Allen sandwich with onion rings. My sandwich was great. Chicken was crispy on the outside, moist on the inside. The half-order of pickles and jalapeños was more than enough. I gave the fried jalapeños to my husband and could not finish all my food. His sandwich was a little greasy for his taste, but the onion rings were spot-on. We had no room left for desserts. We were traveling, but if we're ever in the area again we'll go back. read more

Stopped in here for lunch on our way to Hot Springs. We always try to eat at local restaurants and this place had a great local vibe. It's not too much to look at but the food was really tasty and a great price! I had the chicken bacon avocado wrap and texas toothpicks. Super delicious, I highly recommend that if it's your style. My husband and 6yo daughter and I stopped here for lunch on a Friday afternoon and we were pleasantly surprised by the food. I had the chicken bacon avocado wrap and it was delicious and I loved that they put the ranch on the side so it wasn't soggy or drowning in dressing. My husband ordered a chicken sandwich and my daughter got a burger. We shared a basket of fries. The burger was freshly made, not frozen, and it tasted like a backyard family cookout. The fries were not freshly made, definitely the frozen kind, but they were fine. My only complaint is that the unsweet tea was pretty weak and it didn't quite taste right. Not a bad little dive-y place to eat while in Broken Bow, and way better than a chain restaurant or fast food! We would eat here again. read more

Your typical small town diner/eatery. The atmosphere, service, and prices were great. I ordered the catfish basket for lunch and it was decent. Nothing to rave about, but it was satisfying. Breakfast was very good. Both my wife and myself had omelettes. Would return for breakfast if in area again. One negative...was about 1040 and heard waitress they were not serving breakfast anymore since it was after 1030. No one else in restaurant but us. They are open till 2 but wouldn't make exception? We stopped by on the way out of town and we're pleasantly surprised! Our waitress was perfect and very attentive. Our group was large (8 with two small children) and we were sat immediately. My husband and I have a favorite small town cafe back home in Texas we go to a couple times a week. I found this place and it immediately took us back home! Great small town diner atmosphere. We had the patty melt which had more cheese than I've ever gotten on a patty melt, fried squash which was like my mom used to make, small chef salad, which isn't small at all and had a great mix of everything you expect on a good chef salad, fries which were light and not greasy, and the spinach wrap which we ordered thinking it was vegetarian but was actually a spinach tortilla with chicken mushrooms and veggies inside.
