Went to get my teeth cleaned months ago, the x-ray apparently broke and then Started working 20 minutes later . They don't even clean my teeth and let me know that I have to come in some other time . Got there on time - took me in 30 minutes after the fact. This office never gave me any paperwork after my appointment that had to do with my deep cleaning or any of my X-rays I schedule my other appointment and I'm running late by 10 minutes and I state I am on the way and 8 min away and she says that since I'm not 5 away that they may or may not charge me for being being late but come anyways ???? So ridiculous.She then proceeds to state that she needs to charge me 50 for missing my appointment. I ask if my credit card is on file and apparently it's not even on file for them to charge so I hang up . read more

For the last 2 years I been seeing a particular dentist office ( Orisas )but I can never get an appointment it's seems like an uphill battle everytime. I felt like I'm just a number to them my dentist is a pretty good one but I think being a commercially franchise facility I couldn't get a sense of stability with them nobody cares about strategic planning of what things to be done and how i being cared for and don't get me wrong dental stuff are pretty expensive. Until upon few months ago I was finally fed up with them I decided to move on and find a different office at first I was hesitant there's not much to their website other than it was a locally owned office from my community so I decided to give it a try. I called and surprisingly scheduled me right away because I have a loose tooth and it was bothering me. They sat me down dr. Smith check up on me and see what action plan needs to be done of course the usual whole deep clean and stuff like that I was upset cause I just had a deep clean done about almost 2 yrs ago I should not be doing it again if it wasn't to my previous dentist office lacking for care that even a 6 mos clean have to be done in a yearly event because of their scheduling problem. So I went back to talk to my husband after Dr. Smith told me the plan how much it cost and stuff. I decided to go on with it and I think the best decision I ever made Dr. Smith and his team is amazingly very helpful and really treat me well I never had a hard time getting appointment they work with my work schedule and what I like the most is they had a plan towards what I need and they don't over sell me stuff that not a priority. And addition as soon as u enter their office the stuff greated u by ur name not like my previous dentist I have to tell them all my info and why I'm visiting their office?? Doesn't make any sense but by far Dr Smith and his team have absolutely earn my respect. Thank you. So if anyone wants a local dentist I'm highly recommending this facility. read more

Dr Smith and his staff are AWESOME. Friendly, prompt, super-competent. I needed a crown on a back molar. He prepped the tooth on a Monday and was able to fit the crown on TUESDAY, the best service I've ever experienced for this kind of dental work. He has all the required equipment in-house. While he says he can't always promise this kind of turnaround time, the fact that he did it, unasked, demonstrates his commitment to patients. I'm so happy I found Smith Family Dental! I work off a week to week schedule which can make it tough to make appointments too far ahead of time and they've always been able/willing to work with me. Occasionally, I've even been able to get same day appointments. Their office is clean and staff is friendly. I also really appreciate that they pull your insurance on the forefront so they can outline the cost of any procedures you need done and give you options. It's so nice not to be surprised with a big bill and be able to make a decision that works for you financially. Another huge thing for me is that Dr. Smith and his staff are very trustworthy. They are straightforward when giving you options and recommendations and you never feel pushed into anything. They truly want to be sure that you're making the best decision for you. read more

I love this dental office. I've been coming for the last year. I have a fear of the dentist and they make sure to always make me feel calm. I had ALOT of dental work that needed to be done about 6 crowns that needed to be replaced. Dr Smith has laughing gas to help relax me. When I came in each time they had the laughing gas ready for me. I also like how they have TVs over your head to watch Netflix. Anytime my friends ask for dentist I always pass out Dr Smiths office. I've been going to Dr. Smith since they opened years ago. Staff is always friendly. Never much of a wait. Lots of current mags, and TVs in every room. Let's get to the dental part. I have on multiple occasions chipped a tooth or lost a filling. When I call, they ALWAYS get me in the same day, or the next day at latest. For example, I cracked a crown this past Monday. I called, and they got me in on Tuesday. Removed the broken crown, took a mold, and gave me a temp crown until the new one comes in. I had the option of paying half now, and half when they put on the new crown. I've had several different insurance coverages over the years, and they have taken them all. No problem. They will also set you up for your cleaning and x-rays months in advance. Very friendly and competent staff and doctors. Five stars. read more

I'm so glad a couple of my neighbors recommended Smith Family Dental. I'm new to the area and chipped a tooth at work. I called and they fit me in the following day and took care of my tooth. Just moved to Arizona about a month ago. Had my first appointment with Smith Family Dental this morning. Olivia did a great cleaning and took xrays. I really liked Dr. Smith. Very helpful but did not push any treatments that weren't necessary. The office team were also extremely helpful and fast finding out about my insurance limitations and options. This place is great! I started going here because it was close to where I live...but now I think even if I moved far away I would make the trek, because everyone here is amazing! All of the staff is so helpful and friendly. They are really good about trying to work with your schedule, and you can even set up appointments online or over text. Dr. Smith is also a truly amazing dentist. Yesterday I had to get a wisdom tooth removed and had another tooth that needed a potential root canal and a crown. They cozied me up with Netflix and a blanket, I barely felt the shots at all, and the tooth was out in no time! I figured since it was a "potential" root canal that I was doomed to get one either way, but once evaluating the cavity Dr. Smith opted to just do the crown. I really appreciated that he didn't do the more painful/expensive procedure even though I'd given the okay if he thought I needed it. This guy definitely has what is best for his patient in mind. The whole experience took just about an hour. I got to watch three episodes of a show I like on Netflix and enjoy some time away from work and crying kiddo. It wasn't just a good dental experience...it was actually just a good experience, period. Who says that about going to the dentist?? Also, today I don't have any swelling or pain. Who says that after getting a wisdom tooth pulled?? Seriously, do yourself a favor and go to Smith Family Dental. Going to the dentist doesn't have to suck! read more

I DONT Believe in slamming other companies but I think it's appropriate to tell others about this place they want $9,000 out of pocket to get my boyfriend's teeth fixed I think that's crap because he doesn't have $9,000 he doesn't even have $40 out of his name to get his teeth repaired they told him it's going to cost him without insurance which he doesn't have any in the first place 11000, the other people that we went to are saying it's going to be 4500to get everything done he's already had two appointments done in one day and we've worked out $1,400 but through me because I'm the one with the funds right now I think it's still give me wrong I think it's great that they're nice and friendly people but I honestly think it's crap that you're asking somebody who is below poverty level to fork out 9 thousand dollars when he barely has 40 bucks to his name they said to give him a payment plan they would give him Lending Club and Lending Club is actually a loan shark which you have to put money in to get your teeth fixed or whatever you need done so anybody who goes here should think twice he granted doctor's Architects somebody who has the money to throw out nine grand yes go there but somebody works from Walmart Kmart or Taco Bell gas stations it will cost an arm and a leg and a body part just to get your teeth or whatever you need done cleaning say we're asking for $950 just to get your teeth done a cleaning and general cleaning is 950 they have told him each tooth is $1,500 and he's got nine of them that need work so it's going to cost him 9 Grand the other people I went to only charged him $1,400 for a cleaning to get his tooth extracted it's going to be another $950 which I can work with that not $9,000 the be a different story if their prices went down because there are people out there that work for McDonald's Taco Bell Walmart and really can't afford 9 grand out of there ass if I was working right now I wouldn't even be mney I only have it because I have a mental disfunction I don't even have $9,000 to be throwing around so it would be a different story if I had that kind of money but honestly I don't and that's why it's crap that you're charging these people this much money lower your prices and we'll talk reasonable amount read more
