I have foot neuropathy, foot circulation issues and pain also with a nail fungus. Called to make an appointment. The woman answering the phone was a bit unfriendly and crass. She said that they are a foot doctor however they don't take VA coverage. That they don't help to heal any of the conditions that I stated and that I should look into getting a different referral someplace else. honestly, if you can't heal feet or work on any of these common foot conditions I can't fathom what else you would actually do as a Pediatrist. I have always been given respect and support without any fat-shaming. My honest opinion and input matter when talking about my health. I am surprised that a previous reviewer feels Dr. Law was not using best-practice medicine. I have always been pleased by the depth of thought and breadth of information-gathering shown by Dr. Law and the NP's. I have had much more intensive lab work there than anywhere else I have been a patient. When I had a tick-borne illness, the nurse practitioner worked with me to ensure I was feeling better as soon as possible. My interactions with other staff have been positive. I have always been able to secure a same-day appointment when I needed one. I have never had any problems when having blood drawn. I have been able to contact the office by phone or email and my questions were answered quickly. I have seen other MD's in town who like to assure me that I am fine, rather than addressing actual issues. This will never happen at IthacaMed.
