I have never had to wait for my appointment and even when I get there a couple of minutes early, they accommodate me instantly. One time they had to push my appointment back by an hour but that was communicated with me early on during the day which I appreciated a lot. When I got there, I still didn't have to wait at all. I feel that my time is valued and respected. It's also very easy to set up appointments with them!! You can do it via texts which is nice for all the introverts like me. The place is very clean, soft music, quiet rooms. The atmosphere they create is certainly relaxing. The massage itself is amazing!!! I have had Lucy and Leo during my visits and both of them are great at what they do. They have slightly different techniques but both were highly skilled and knew what they were doing. They speak limited english but constantly checks if you're ok and comfortable. I normally do 90 minute sessions where they do 60 minutes of body massage and 30 minutes of foot massage. It includes hot stone as well. I have recommended the place to my parents (who have been there a few times for couples massage) and few friends. Olive Tree Spa is the closest I've found in this area. Having been to a few 'budget' spas, I noticed a few immediate differences with this spa. Here, the space is light and airy, with the remarkably calming smell of essential oils that hits as soon as you enter. The first floor is dedicated to a reception desk and foot massages, while massage beds are upstairs. My husband and I booked a couples massage, and they had a clever curtaining system that allowed them to turn a larger flex space into a more private one for us. There's also one private room for a single massage. The massage itself was, in a word, skillful. There was general symmetry between what was done between one side of my body and the other. I didn't love some aspects of her technique, particularly a pinching motion she used around my neck that left me a bit sore until the day after. But it was still better than most, and she used plenty of pressure to work out the various knots and points of tension in my back and legs. What I appreciated most of all was the quiet. Our masseuses worked side by side but didn't exchange any chatter (except to occasionally hand each other hot stones or towels), and there was barely any ambient noise except for the sound of the air conditioner in the background. It was all the peace and quiet one would have wanted from a massage session. There's been some contention about the tip policy in reviews left for this spot. I'll share that after we paid, the woman at the register gestured to a printed sign that had suggestions for how much tip should be left, depending on the length of session. For an hour-long session like ours, for instance, the recommended tip was $20 per person. After pointing to it, she also plainly said, "It's just a suggestion." We ended up paying the proposed amount, but I could see how some folks might not take kindly to such pressure.

However, after the session, they refused to honor the card, saying it was "too old" and that it belonged to the "previous owner." I found this confusing, as the membership card had the same name, address, and phone number as the current business. To add to the frustration, they giggled while explaining why my fully stamped membership card wasn't valid. It felt like this was more important to them than retaining me as a loyal customer. I still tipped my masseuse $20 because she did a fantastic job, but unfortunately, this will be my last visit. I'm disappointed that they prioritized invalidating an old membership card over keeping a returning customer.

I just don't understand the hype…read more My husband and I had another massage place cancel on us unexpectedly, so we were on the hunt for another place that could accommodate us last minute. I was heartened by the happy reviews and surprised to see how affordable the massages were. That should have been my first warning sign. Upon arrival, the space seemed clean enough. The first floor is more of a waiting room (with a couch upon which the proprietor was laying down and phone scrolling when we arrived), and the upstairs space is dedicated to the actual massage rooms. There are a few rooms with multiple beds, and these, too, were laid down with towels and clean looking blankets. But the massage itself was terrible. My male masseuse's technique had zero finesse. The first part of my hour-long massage was through a thin sheet, and his general method was to rub the same spot over and over again until it felt raw and I was plaintively begging him to use less pressure. You'd think adding oil would make things better, but no. That's when he turned my various limbs into a clumsy slip-and-slide experience for his hands and forearms. I quickly regretted adding the extra 10 minutes for a foot massage, during which he somehow uncovered all the pain points of my feet with his knuckles. At one point, he even smacked my bottom. I'd like to see the massage training book that recommends that kind of practice. Over on the other table, my husband had a slightly better experience. But during a couple's massage, it never feels good when the two masseuses whisper to each other in another language and burst into barely disguised snickers throughout. The final nail in the coffin was when my husband's masseuse laughed outright after he yelped because she put freshly hot stones on his back. Since our experience was so different from all the other customers, it's possible we just pulled the short straws from the deck with our masseuses. But I believe we got what we paid for and suffice it to say it won't be a repeat experience.
