As a new business, be present, check in, greet your customers and if you need to be someplace else designate someone on your behalf. People are much more forgiving when they have a face and are personally welcomed. State your issues before someone complains, like the two table near us. Example: "Welcome, we are so happy to have you. I am owner/manager. We are running a little slow in the kitchen we are still in our infancy stage but we hope you enjoy your meal.
