Horribly expensive, and worse than many cheap dentists. I won't even get into how inappropriately the staff talk while people are there...

Unfortunately, my dental-cleaning appointment with Arlene on Monday, August 10, was the worst experience I have ever had with a dental hygienist. From the beginning, Arlene was abrupt, rude, and unprofessional. She did not introduce herself or explain what she would be doing. She immediately attempted to take me to another room for X-rays. I explained that my endodontist had already taken bitewing X-rays and sent them to this office in May. Instead of checking my record first, she insisted that the office had to take its own X-rays. When I asked her to verify whether they had been received, she appeared angry, abruptly got up, and left the room. While she was gone, I called my endodontist myself and confirmed that the bitewing X-rays had already been sent. Arlene finally checked my record and acknowledged that the office did have them. This unnecessary confrontation could have been avoided if she had simply reviewed my chart before insisting on repeating X-rays that were already available. Her handling of my blood-pressure measurement was equally concerning. She placed a wrist cuff on me and walked away. When she returned, she began removing it without noticing that the monitor displayed an error and had not recorded anything. Only after I pointed this out did she repeat the measurement. It read 114/47. As a medical provider, I told her that the diastolic reading of 47 was unusually low and should be rechecked, especially because a reading that low could cause symptoms. She responded by asking whether I had high blood pressure, completely missing the concern I had just explained. She simply documented the questionable reading and removed the cuff without repeating it or notifying anyone. She then began the cleaning without explaining that she was starting. The cleaning was painful, incomplete, and unlike any professional dental cleaning I have previously received. Because it hurt and I was extremely uncomfortable, my head moved slightly. Instead of stopping to ask whether I was in pain or needed a break, Arlene rudely said, "What's wrong with you? I'm feeling dizzy." I found this comment extremely disrespectful and inappropriate, particularly when I was the patient experiencing discomfort during the procedure. She also did not rinse my mouth appropriately and failed to suction the accumulated water and debris while cleaning. At the end, I had to specifically ask her to use the suction because material was still left in my mouth. She then dropped the suction tube and put the same tube back into my mouth without replacing it. This was extremely disturbing and raised serious concerns about infection-control practices. I normally receive my cleanings from Jenna, who is an excellent, skilled, and compassionate hygienist. My appointment with Jenna was canceled because she was on leave, so I rearranged my schedule and took time away from my busy clinic for this appointment. Receiving this level of service after taking time off was extremely upsetting. My husband also had a separate cleaning with Arlene and reported a similarly poor experience. I would have given a negative rating, but since the rating is from 1 through 5, I had to give her a 1-star rating. Dr. Patel, I strongly urge you to take this complaint seriously and thoroughly review Arlene's professionalism, clinical technique, patient communication, infection-control practices, and overall suitability for providing patient care. No patient should be treated with this level of disrespect or made to feel unsafe during a routine dental cleaning. Based on my experience, my husband and I would never allow Arlene to provide my dental care again, and I cannot recommend her to anyone.

I travel a lot and had to cancel my appointment like 2 or 3 times. Then when I got back in town I call to make an appointment, and They had an opening the next day that they gave to me. They have all of the latest equipment. When they see anything that you need they bring it to your attention and make sure that you understand what the issue is and how it can be or should be treated. I would drive a few extra miles to go to this dentist office.

I had an appointment with them today for a cleaning, which, unbeknownst to me until I had to pay my co-pay, turned out to be a periodontal cleaning. The co-pay was higher than usual, and, of course, I questioned it since I have exceptional insurance. The person I spoke to TRIED to be patient while explaining to me the difference between a periodontal and a regular surface cleaning. Not sure why they're taken aback when patients question their services and prices. This is a service business the last time I checked. My next scheduled appointment is in July, and I moved my children's appointment onto the same day, which will make it easier for me to cancel our appointments if I choose to. It's a new year, so my dental insurance just reset. Prior, my and my children's dental group of 5 years were the excellent until we had to move. Within throwing distance we have Sapphire, Grand Mission, Studio Dental, etc. who have high ratings, not only on Google, but also on Yelp. I have options.

He immediately asked, after checking my teeth, "What had I done to my teeth?" I am not sure how to answer because I wasn't expecting this energy. I responded I have been brushing and flossing. He stated that he did not like the work he had done, and I am totally puzzled because I thought the bridge looked perfect. He stated that behind the tooth, he did not run the rod long enough and that he would need to go back in and correct. I asked Are you sure it looks fine and i had already spent a lot of time having this work done, and it was not pleasant, and I did not want to have to have him redo the work; however, I agreed. When I came back in two weeks, he informed me that I would need a medical release form since my blood pressure was too high. Same pressure reading before he did work. I came back a few months later with dr's release in hand and appointment confirmed with Diamond, his partner in crime. Now keep in mind the whole time I am literally begging Diamond to get an appointment and she stated that Dr. Patel had been out ill and this lasted for two months (supposedly heart issues) I left work early to ensure I arrived at my appointment on time, only to find the office was closed and no one was there. I immediately went back to car and called office only to be told by Diamond that Dr. Patel was not willing to service me any longer and would release my records to the next dental office if i needed. I hope I am the last victim . He is very unethical and no morales. I am still trying to figure out what happened. Investigations needs to be called to this business, of course standards are not being met. State Board of Dental Examiners I am sure does not approve of this unethical Bipolar individual My holding a license and serving the public.

My sister had a disagreement with the dentist but it's fine - she didn't need to return as a patient. She left a negative review, they called multiple times to have the review removed and refused to fix the issue with her. I had an appointment scheduled for tomorrow and my parents also had appointments for next week and they cancelled all of our appointments due to their issue with my sister. None of us got involved in their issue, yet he butchered his relationship with us all. Diamond emailed my mother all of our X-rays and sent a text saying all our appointments are cancelled and we're no longer patients with Dr. Patel. I've never been one to post negative reviews but this is SO unprofessional and wrong!!
