Where 2 start???? they need like "Infinity Stars" -- 5 is not enough, but for the sake of argument,…read moretoday we are going to say that 5 stars = Infinity Stars lol.... I came here yesterday which was on a Friday to get my teeth whitened. My appointment was for 11 am. Once i arrived, I had to fill out some brief new patient info from the ipad. Once that was done, I probably waited 3-5 minutes before i was seen. (That was awesome!) We walked to the back, and the dentist took me on a brief tour of the facility. It is really nice in the inside. After the tour was over she introduced me to one of the main dentist's and then she took me to the area where they would be working on me. Soo the dentist began to go over the teeth whitening procedure step by step. She was very thorough, and i appreciated that because that is exactly how i am. Also, i want to mention that her name is "Daniela" and she is the nicest dentist that i have ever encountered. EVER!! I felt like i had been a customer there my entire life, and in reality it was my first time there. After she explained everything she asked me if i had any questions which i did and we went over them one by one. Once that was over the first thing that they have to do is take a before pic. She took them on her cell phone and mine. Next, she pulled out a teeth chart, (not sure what its called), but its where she is able to determine what the current shade of your teeth is before the procedure is started. This allows the dentist to see how many shades your teeth increases after the procedure is complete. She wrote this information down and took pics of it as well. After that they have to fit your mouth for custom teeth whitening trays that you will take home with you. They put some pink stuff lol inside your mouth. Its cool not cold, and it has to stay in there for x amount of seconds. 20~30 seconds i believe. The prosthodontist will come and check your teeth to make sure everything is okay no cavities etc, and then the procedure can begin. It had been a while since i had eaten - i only had a banana and 2 eggs for breakfast. (I know, i know, but i'm trying to be healthy!!!) Daniela asked me did i eat recently i said no, and she offered me some "Muscle Milk" That made my day, and i think i drunk it all up in 8.4 seconds! Really that was amazing that she offered that b/c I've seen other dentist offices where this would not even be an option. Back to the procedure.... So to begin the teeth whitening procedure, first they have to put a lot of cotton stuff in your mouth, and under your tongue to protect all of the soft tissue above your teeth. She took her time and did it right. Then they put a big mouthpiece in your mouth as this will keep your mouth open for the duration of the procedure. They will also put vitamin E on your lips so that they will not get dry. Mine never did. Daniela told me before the procedure started that if the intensity was too much to handle then all i have to do is clap my hands and then she will lower the intensity. (I started on the HIGH level.) The teeth whitening process goes like this: Three 15 minute sessions, and an "optional" 4th session. After 12 minutes the machine will beep, and they will come and ask you how you are doing and tell you that you only have 3 minutes left. I like the fact that even before the 12 minutes was up they peeked in and asked me how i was feeling. After the first 15 minutes on high intensity, i felt no pain. I did the second session on high as well for the entire 15 minutes. Once i got to about 12 minutes into the second session i started to fell these little electric shocks in my mouth but i made it all the way thru on high once again. If i had to judge the pain on a scale of 1 to 10 i would give the last 3 minutes about a 3. So for my third session we decided to lower the intensity to medium instead of high. I made it thru the entire 15 minutes again. I would say that by the end of session 3 the pain was at a 4. I decided not to do the optional 4th session as the dentist told me that when she looked at my teeth it looked like the gains would be marginal and my teeth were already looking very good. So we stopped after the third session. After that they take all the stuff out your mouth, clean you up, take some after pics on their phone and my phone, and then you pay. They will also give you some relief medicine, aspirin, and a take home teeth whitening kit when you depart. Amazing experience!!!!! Summary Super Friendly Staff No wait time Very Clean inside They will take their time with you and explain everything very thoroughly before they begin Best dentist I've ever been to! Sheri was the angel I needed early Monday morning. She answered, and she was still at home because…read morethe office wasn't open yet. But she took my call and had me laughing in no time, which really helped because I was in so much pain. A little backstory, my braces were removed in 2021. A year later, my permanent retainer was moving my teeth. My orthodontist took full blame and put braces on the bottom of my teeth to correct them. The process was finished in April. Well, the left side of my head and face became very painful. The orthodontist said the retainer mold was wrong and replaced that... Fast forward, I moved to Texas, and now I'm at the doctor's because my face is swollen, and on to the Berkeley Eye Center. I'll spare you the rest. So now, I have the kindest woman named Sherri on the phone, who I consider a friend now. She told me to come on in, she'll send the paperwork through email, and she'll see me at two. She didn't stop there; once I got there and finished the exam, I thought I had to come back for them to put the proper braces on. Nope, Sherri said we can do the braces today, and they did! No more pain for me. Thank you, thank you so much, Sherri!

I can't recommend this dental office enough!…read more My children have been seeing Dr. Harpavat since my oldest was just 2 years old. After we moved to Sienna, I tried taking them to a local pediatric dentist for convenience. That visit was a huge disappointment--they recommended multiple fillings and other procedures for my daughter that didn't seem right. I decided to drive the 30+ minutes back to this office, and I've never looked back. Dr. Harpavat is incredibly knowledgeable, honest, and conservative in her approach. She never recommends unnecessary treatment and always takes the time to explain her recommendations. As a parent, that gives me tremendous peace of mind. Even more impressive, my kids actually love going to the dentist! I certainly don't remember feeling that way as a child, and I think that says a lot about the caring and welcoming environment she has created. As a microbiologist and scientist myself, I value evidence-based, ethical healthcare providers. I trust Dr. Harpavat completely with my children's dental care. I also can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Lankford, who has been my dentist. Years ago, I suffered an injury that fractured my front tooth and damaged several lower teeth. Eventually, the root of the crowned front tooth became infected and could not be saved. Dr. Lankford guided me through every step of the process, referred me to an outstanding oral surgeon for my implant, and later restored it with a beautiful, high-quality crown. Throughout the entire experience, he was compassionate, supportive, and always available to answer my questions. The final result looks and feels amazing, and I couldn't be happier. His skill, honesty, and attention to detail are exceptional. Both Dr. Harpavat and Dr. Lankford are dentists I trust completely. They are knowledgeable, ethical, conservative in the best way, and genuinely care about their patients. Even though we now live in Sienna, it's absolutely worth the drive to continue seeing them. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for outstanding dental care for both children and adults.

My veneers look extremely natural and I've gotten many compliments on them, even from other dental professionals. I recently had a crown pop off and went to another dentist out of travel convenience and it was a nightmare that Dr. Lankford had to fix. The other doctor was going to place a crown over an old filling and decays, but luckily their permanent crown broke upon seating and I was able to see Dr. Lankford for a second opinion. The nitrous was 1/3 of the cost of the other office I went to and my crown was extremely reasonably priced. I was comfortable the entire time and my coworker I referred here also relayed to me she's never felt so comfortable and at ease at a dentist. I will never see another dentist as long as I live in the Houston area.
