However, if you have questions just ask and he will answer them! I had an issue with a tooth that he did NOT do the original work on. He redid the crown twice himself, and when it didn't resolve the issue he sent me to a specialist to redo a previous root canal. Unfortunately, even that did not resolve the issue so he replaced it with a bone graft and an implant. I did not even realize how much pain I had been in for over 20 years until he finally fixed it. So for the ones saying he doesn't stand behind his work I have to disagree!! There had to be more to the story!! Give the office a try. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised! I called the office and left a message asking to talk with someone about the reviews. Four days later with no follow-up, I called again and spoke with the receptionist. She said she would give my message to Dr. Bigus and he would get back to me. It's been two weeks and nothing. I have placed my business with another dentist. My rating reflects my experience with this office's service, not their dentistry competence.

Prior to visiting Dr. Rogge I had some really bad and painful experiences at the dentist, which caused me to skip going for several years, now I would go nowhere else. Cannot believe with this implant I had zero pain...zero, was amazed. Also had a small cavity and filling, that needed no anesthetic, that was a first for me, and zero pain. These people were too, too nice over the phone and bordered on the edge of irritating with all their questions and a spiel about the office, and then again with a follow up call that was unnecessary. I walked into the office and smelled cookies! WTF!? What dentist has cookies in the waiting room???!!! Along with coffee, sugar, creamer, teas and a bowl of fruit. My intuition told me to walk out and I have kicked myself for not listening! After the intake, I was taken on a tour of the office. That's right folks, a tour. Each chair has a monitor on which to watch a movie while being worked on. Seriously...how can one concentrate on a movie with drilling, prodding and poking going on?! I sure can't. And over here we have a state of the art digital imaging machine...and? But the pièce de résistance was the paraffin wax bath for your hands, souvenir coffee mug, lip balm and pen! Run, run away as fast as you can. My fears were confirmed after I was sold this antibiotic (Arestin) which they inject into your gum pockets. At $40 a pop and no insurance I was fuming mad and $320 in the hole. Not only that, but Arestin is only minimally effective and the hygenists get incentive pay for selling it! I was able to recoup half of that from the practice after much bitching, but I will never go back and will certainly do thorough research on a drug or procedure beforehand. And the dentist? I saw him a total of 5 minutes on the first visit. He checked the xrays and looked at my teeth and told me what needed to be done and that was it. Didn't even have the balls to talk to me about the Arestin!

Met Dr. Carr and he explained everything that would occur. Sam (Samantha) did the imaging, quick and easy using their digital equipment. Back to the chair for a consult and a clean. Both Dr. Carr and Sam has a nice gentle touch. It all seemed thorough and professional. I can only speak to this procedure but for the price of half a bag of groceries at the Whole Foods next door I received a proper cleaning and exam. I'll be back.

Before visiting Dr. Stephen Sidwell at Comfort Dental Longmont, I recommend researching his Colorado DORA disciplinary history. Case 2015-3637-B concerns reported findings involving an extraction without a diagnostic X-ray, a retained root fragment, and inadequate documentation. The Colorado Dental Board issued a formal reprimand and required additional education. I wish I'd known about this before spending FIVE YEARS trying to get help. My latest nightmare started when I arrived 15 minutes late for an appointment. In the same dead, monotonous voice I'd come to expect, the front desk informed me that I had to reschedule. I AM IN PAIN. I kept explaining that I was in pain, that I needed help, and that this had been going on for YEARS. Nothing. No empathy. No attempt to find a solution. Just the same robotic response. Later, Dr. Steven told me I could have come in and waited to be seen. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? YOUR OWN STAFF TOLD ME I HAD TO RESCHEDULE! Patients pay the price for this office's administrative failures with their time, money, health, and quality of life. For FIVE YEARS, I complained about persistent tooth pain. FIVE YEARS of appointments, runarounds, unanswered questions, and staff who couldn't seem to comprehend the most basic information. "I AM IN PAIN. I AM BEGGING YOU FOR HELP." How many times does a patient have to say that before someone actually does something? During my last conversation, I asked an incredibly simple question. The front desk couldn't figure it out, so they finally brought in a dentist who understood what I was asking within approximately 60 seconds. ONE MINUTE. That's all it took. When your front desk cannot understand or communicate basic medical information, patients can be denied or delayed access to care. That's what happened to me. I was in pain, begging for help, and repeatedly getting nowhere. When I described the staff as "incompetent," another dentist, whom I remember being introduced to as Dr. Bob, actually objected: "That's too far!" LOL. THAT'S TOO FAR? Not FIVE YEARS OF PAIN? Not the endless runaround? Not the inability to answer basic questions or coordinate medical records? Apparently, criticizing the staff was more offensive than a patient begging for help. And then there was the outrageous situation involving another dentist in Arvada. Dr. Sidwell's staff told me they would only disclose what that dentist had said about my condition if I first provided the name or manufacturer of my implants. EXCUSE ME? YOU'RE WITHHOLDING INFORMATION ABOUT MY OWN DENTAL CARE? They claim he left me a message, it was a click of hanging up They repeatedly pressured me for information I didn't have. I eventually tracked down the original dentist myself, yet the records-transfer nightmare continued. Despite my repeated requests and a dentist promising that my records would be sent by the end of the day, THEY NEVER ARRIVED. I BEGGED THEM TO SEND MY RECORDS. THEY PROMISED. THEY DIDN'T.How difficult is it to send a patient's records to another dental practice? Why should a patient in chronic pain have to spend so much time chasing down information that should be readily available? The lack of empathy was as appalling as the administrative incompetence. I felt like I was explaining the same elementary information over and over to people who simply weren't listening. Meanwhile, I was told Dr. Sidwell could replace my crown for another $1,500. WHY? After FIVE YEARS of unresolved pain, why was the proposed solution another $1,500 procedure? What evidence supported replacing the crown when the underlying cause of my pain hadn't been adequately explained? Eventually, I went elsewhere. That practice already had my records. The dentist reviewed the evidence and told me, "It's very clear what is going on." MY BODY WAS REJECTING THE IMPLANT. He showed me the evidence, explained the problem, and recommended removing the back implant. No $1,500 replacement crown. No endless runaround. No illiterate staff with zero empathy. A clear explanation and a treatment plan. FIVE YEARS. FIVE YEARS OF PAIN, AND THE PROBLEM WAS THE IMPLANT. What makes this experience so horrifying isn't just the pain. It's the combination of administrative chaos, poor communication, unfulfilled promises to transfer records, repeated frustration, and a shocking lack of compassion for someone begging for medical help. If this office is saving money by operating without adequate administrative support, patients are the ones paying the price with their time, money, health, and quality of life. I wish I could give a zero star. I was a patient of Gary L Evans (of Evans dental) from 2011 and…read morehis successor Alexa Crete from 2023. I am sick to my stomach about what happened. Evans almost ruined my healthy tooth once when he couldn't identity a correct cracked tooth for nearly two years. He ordered a crown on the wrong tooth (opposite) and I barely saved it when I had a dental emergency and saw another dentist. He found the correct one in 30 minutes but it was too late to save. Fast forward to 2023. He pulled the crack idea again on a tooth where he just had a filling (and which had no problems prior to that). After two weeks, I returned for bite sensitivity and he cut it for a crown. Pain became unbearable after that and it was clear that he cut a healthy tooth. He did root canal on top of that to kill my disturbed nerves and said that he would put permanent cement on temp crown for my overseas travel. When I returned, Dr. Evans was gone for an injury and his unlicensed assistant cracked permanently cemented tooth forcefully while the temp dentist was in another room. From that point, it was a joke (you can make a sitcom out of it). They didn't explain what happened and why a newly molded temp crown kept falling every day. Temp dentist after temp dentist, they failed to set a crown due to this idiot's "mistake." By this time Dr. Crete took over and while I appreciated what she did with a post which lasted for nearly one year, she refused to share Dr. Evans' contact so that I can file a claim with him for traumatic tooth loss. She did arrange to release my medical records with my consent to his lawyer. The man's lawyer didn't even get back to me after prying on my protected records. A Redditor told me that their mom worked for Gary Evans for a few years before this happened and there is "serious tea to be spilled" about the family. His lack of integrity and common decency didn't surprise this person. I asked for a discount (waiver of my out-of-pocket expenses) to the new owner so that I can pay for the implant. She said she would discuss it with her financial advisor and didn't honor it. She CHARGED ME FOR THE IMPLANT CROWN THAT HAD BE TO MADE AGAIN DUE TO HER CURRENT ASSITANT'S NEGLIGENCE. Dental assistants are not allowed to deal with permanent cement which irreversibly affects teeth and Dr Crete even acknowledged that when I confronted her. She just told me to move on. I had to transfer my care after that. I am still having nightmares about this incident and cannot sleep at night well. I am not sure in what retail/service industry providers are entitled to continue to charge after injuring customers permanently (and the new manager refuses to contact the retired, old manager about what happened to hold their staff accountable). This was we break and you pay dentistry! Never again! I am so heartbroken. Do not trust this practice. That same assistant who broke my tooth works there. FYI: CO Dental Board is useless in a case like this. They don't hold individual dentists accountable and pay for damages. Lawyer will cost tens of thousands because of their fee and expert witness fees. CHOOSE YOUR DENTIST WISELY AND MIND YOU THAT THEY LET ASSISTANTS DO JOBS THEY SHOULDN'T. DO NOT LET THIS ASSISTANT RUIN SOMEONE ELSE'S TOOTH. SHE GAVE ME $5 STARBUCK'S CARD AFTER SHE DID IT.
