My family and I are probably in the top of Dr. Rogge's New patient list, so I am unable to be as objectional as a 5yr patient or a 10yr. I will say that at the age of 33, I have had a few visits to different Dentist's office's. Dr. Rogge's office has proven to be the best 1 so far, and I don't ever plan to have another dentist. The lady who wrote the negative review, is as Dr. Rogge stated, one of those people who can not ever be satisfied. Me personally, I do sometimes get irritated at the phone calls for appt. conformation, but then I remind myself that I'm a super busy guy and I don't always remember to put the date in my appt. reminder, and before I know it, crap its 4days away, and I haven't even let the boss know I need to leave work early for the appt. so thanx to the staff for the persistant reminding phone calls. As for the cookies, and condiments, Dr. Rogge, whoever's Idea it was, give that person a pat on the back, the Tour of the office, and the information given about what they do and how they do it, I thought that was cool, and I don't know about the rest of you, but I ENJOY learning something NEW, obviously sour puss doesn't. The gift's given, are just that GIFT'S. I'm a truck driver and I break, loose or mangle my coffee mug almost monthly, so having a freebee was NICE, and I have no problem helping an awesome Dentist advertise his business.
The hygenist's don't PUSH the extra stuff on you, they inform you of all of your options and let you make the decision of what you want to do with YOUR mouth and wallet. 3yrs ago I went to a different Dentist in Longmont, and was in search of a simple cleaning, the dr saw me, and stated flatly, that he couldn't help me, until I had an expensive procedure done to remove all 4 of my wisdom teeth. Thats bogus...
I walked into Dr. Rogge's office and got the intake, got seated in my room, and eventually got to talk to Dr. Rogge, we visited for a few mins about life in general, then got to business. He asked me if I was suffering any pain from my wisdom teeth, to which I replied No why? He stated that a couple of them didn't look like they were healthy and should probably be pulled at some point in the future, but for now, there's no pain, and there are other more pressing issues in your mouth, that require our time and attention. That was close to a year ago, and the subject of my wisdom teeth hasn't been brought up since.
All in all I say ARTISTIC SMILES keep up the GREAT work!!!!
As for sour puss, I hear the People's Republic of Boulder put out an A.P.B. They are in dire straits and need you to come back to PRB to make them feel complete as a group of people. read more
