I was happy to get in same day when I had tooth pain. The office was nice, the staff was very nice, the dog was a fun surprise. He sat on my lap in the chair (not a small dog). I really wanted to like them enough to make them my regular dentist. However, I was told that the tooth causing pain which has had 2 prior root canals and several crowns, needed a dental implant. the gums around it were inflamed. She told me that it was most likely fractured even though there was no evidence of this on the X-ray. She instructed me to take antibiotics that I had already started and were given to me by another provider. I got the quote for the implant - a whopping $8700. In the next few days I called around and then got a second opinion on what needed to be done. Guess what, the tooth no longer hurt. There's no fracture and absolutely no need for a costly implant. All other quotes came in between $5,000 and $6,000. Her quote was considerably higher than the other 3 I got. Luckily, I came across an honest provider who said there was nothing wrong with my tooth. Whatever was causing the pain was eliminated with 5 days of antibiotics. Much cheaper fix. Glad I didn't rush into that racket. read more

I had 2 difficult teeth pulled and 2 crowns done on the same visit with conscious sedation. I experience PTSD type symptoms when it comes to any health related procedures, due to a history of cancer surgeries. I cry at appointments, scans, and I even cried when I planned this procedure. Dr. Hedrick and her staff were magnificent. They used conscious sedation and it was a breeze. They were very thorough with pre-op and monitoring me throughout the entire process. I hate the dentist. More like I have severe dental anxiety and have been working with a therapist to get me in the dental chair. I always have, and some awful experiences in the past have made me avoid getting my teeth looked at for years. I took the plunge and tried Longmont Dental Loft, and I highly recommend them. I told them how bad my dental anxiety is when I made my appointment, and they were so good to me. Hannah cleaned my teeth and did my X-rays and she was simply the sweetest. Super kind and compassionate but also friendly and sweet. She obviously actually cared about my comfort but also didn't act like I was an inconvenience or fragile for having anxiety. Dr Hedrick has taken it from an Old run down dentistry office off of 17th street to it's current lavish Digs on the Up and coming area of South west Longmont! The Whole Staff is amazing!
