Do not take your child there Ive had 2 appointments nd many before but the two times I've gone have been for fillings nd those two time they have some how cut my mouth both times nd right now im in the hospital for that they gave me an infection from the products not being clean nd the doctors using the same gloves. The office was nothing like the photos they have employees smiling but the day of they had a mood nd a annoyed look on their face they also have photos of a play area they do not have that anymore the office is nothing welcoming it felt like a prison not a welcoming place. read more

Do not take your child to Adventure Dental. From the moment we walked into the office the environment was not welcoming. Photos online showed a clean, interactive play area and warm, smiling staff. The lobby felt more like the DMV and the play area had crumpled up pieces of paper and broken crayons. Nothing else to speak of. The front desk staff were more focused on gossiping than getting us checked in and oriented. The dental hygienist spent less than 90 second cleaning our son's teeth and had to take two sets of X-rays because she was not competent. The dentist was not empathetic to our needs and did not offer options within the care plan. When we went up to the counter to check out, my son discovered a follow up appointment card in our 'goody bag.' I mentioned to the receptionist that we had not agreed to make one and she got annoyed when I asked for that to be canceled. No photos can be included as technology was allowed for use inside the office (or lobby) - signs were posted everything - and no food or drinks were allowed as well. It felt more like a prison than a dental office for kids. read more

The following email was sent to the office manager for the Brentwood location in Washington DC: "Our appointment was scheduled about a month ago. Appointment time was 4:30pm however our son was not seen until about 5:30pm. Your staff did a great job keeping us informed. Once we got to the back we realized that your staff was working diligently to see all the patients and we patiently waited our turn. Banitha was the technician assigned to clean my son's teeth. ( I certainly hope that I spelled name correctly). Honestly, where did you get her and are there more where you found her?!?! In all seriousness, Banitha's "bedside " manner, the disposition with which she handles children, the care and consistency displayed during consultation-- all of this is what makes her, I believe, an irreplaceable asset to this practice and office. She cares. She is personable. She has a child friendly sense of humor! She respects the children and the children respect and trust her. In spite of the long wait time and the agony of having to go to visit the dentist, our son completely enjoyed his experience at the dentist. At. The. DENTIST!!!!! He has zero cavities! But, almost as equally important, he formed a trust bond with a practitioner that truly cares about the population she serves. Benitha did not know that we were so happy with her services nor does she know that I would write this email. But I really want for her to know the depth of her impact. It really makes a difference to parents for their children to be exposed to adults who authentically care their health. We're adding Benitha to that list. read more

Will be aiming anyone with kids away from this lousy establishment. Rude. Unprofessional. Don't seem to know what they are doing, either on teeth or with billing matters. Deceptive (we were told one thing repeatedly, but once at the office were told something completely different... of course very expensive as well). Given the standard "we're sorry we made a mistake, but it's going to cost YOU" speech. I don't have enough middle fingers to properly convey my anger and frustration at these sorry excuses for dental professionals. read more

If I could give this place a 0 I would have. My child broke a bracket off due to not having it put on correctly in the 1st place. They can't get my child in until the normal appointment date to put the bracket back on which is 2 weeks out. So in the mean time all the bottom teeth are shifting so it will be like starting all over again. I wish I would have never picked this place since I had to pay full price out of pocket read more

My 18 year old daughter went in today because her vision has been increasingly blurry after an eye infection and she was getting very worried. They were listed as an opthamologist under my insurance plan, but the "Doctor" was an optometrist. My older son went in with her. My daughter left in tears and cried for a good half hour after the appointment. They both said the doctor was rude, did not introduce himself, did not explain anything and told her she could see fine. She could not see to fill out the paperwork so my son had to do it for her. The woman working there was nice, but seemed intimidated by the doctor when she tried to assist. I called back and spoke to the doctor. I explained that my daughter had left in tears and felt he had not taken her seriously and that she really has a problem. He did not apologize or show any empathy whatsoever. All he did was repeat that her eyes are healthy and he "GOT" her to see 25/20 which is good. She told him repeatedly that she could not see the letters and he had told her to guess. She left with no paperwork and no diagnosis and he made her feel terrible for coming in. Thank goodness he didn't bully her into buying glasses from him. read more

The fact that that dental and orthodontics keep separate records should be a red flag, plus the fact you are always updating medical records at every visit. The billing practices of this organization are unbelievable one day late on a payment and you will receive a phone call from someone in their collections department. Never mind the fact the day your bill was due the office was closed. Also be prepared to receive numerous repeated bills from them all dates the same day and mailed the same day. read more

Super rude staff! My son is in braces and I'm pretty darn sure that he's had two unnecessary surgeries. Not to mention today, they sent him home with a bag of rubber bands and didn't bother to show him how to use them! Fortunately, his older sister knows how and showed him. Yes, I could call them and go back in, but I don't have time to make another trip. Not to mention, every time the hygenist tells us to come back ASAP for broken brackets, wires, etc it's at least two weeks before we can get booked again. They have no idea that the front desk will not book you ASAP. BTW, you do not want the hygenist that sits in the far south corner. She's a horribly rude and nasty woman. She never smiles, she barely talks to the kids and she's the one that sent my kid home today with rubber bands and no instruction on using them. I can't think of a worse person to work with children. read more

Super rude, the Drs are not professional and act like they just want to push you out as soon as possible. Didn't answer any of my questions correctly. Did I mention SUPER rude! I now go to a dentist in fortcollins whom my daughter and I adore. Adventure dental is a 5 min drive from my house while the new dentist is 45 mins away and I would much rather drive the 45 mins for a professional staff, who is always on time and doesn't make you sit in the lobby for 50 mins past a scheduled appointment. I'll never take my child to this place again! read more

Give this Dental Clinic 0 Stars for quality (had to put 1 star to let me post the review), I took my son to get silver caps in and when we got home and swelling went down i looked at them and they looked totally wrong! mismatching in size and length.... I know little kids cry and yell but they should Not rush into things because of that. Now my son has to go to a different clinic to fix this problem I will not take him there again in the Dental part of the building! If it was done right the first time I wouldn't need to take him twice for the same problem he went in for. I will NOT be recommend this clinic to anyone! read more
