I have never had this much word done in my whole life and yet, maybe I needed it? I question all of it now. They did two fillings and a crown in one day and that was way too much. I was in trauma. I am 67 now and maybe that is part of it, but this was over the top awful. then I got back for a cleaning and that was fine. now another crown. here's where it gets really bad. the assistant place a temporary crown on my tooth which no dentist in site, took it off to adjust several times but complained she was afraid to make it thinner as it might break, so instead of making the fitting right she put on a crown that was too high. I did not know what it could do to me. The pain from the procedure did not go away and only got worse, enough that I thought about the ER. I finally got in for the permanent crown and told the assistant how bad the pain has been and she said, "oh yeah, a high temporary crown like that could bruise the periodontal ligament and cause that pain." She knew this and still fit me with the bad temp crown fitting? And no dentist in sight. So the dentist put on the regular gold crown and again the assistant finished the procedure cementing in and the dentist did not check final. I am still in tremendous pain, had to cancel work for several days, get a prescription for Tylenol and codeine and still cannot function. The dentist wants me on steriods for inflammation and I tell her I can't due to past health issues and she pushes for steroids. Doesn't consider infection or anything else. I finally go to another dentist for an emergency consult and he refers me to an endodontist as he thing the nerve pulp is damaged due to the situation. I went and of course this killed the nerve in my tooth and I have to get a $1900 root canal, taking antibiotics due to infection in my throat from this, and trauma to say the least. I have spoken with the office manager and the dentist won't call me back after I have been promised to hear from her. They won't take responsibility for what they did, as this should have never happened. I am not a litigious person and am considering speaking to a lawyer or going to small claims court, reporting them to the dental board as they did this to me. It was a bad fitted crown that caused this to happen. Do not go here.

This office misled me and attempted to over-treat my dental care…read more I scheduled my first-ever appointment here in December after about a year away from the dentist due to a busy schedule and wanting to change providers. During my visit, imaging was taken and the dentist told me I had "several spots of concern," including multiple cavities, one supposedly close to needing a root canal. This was shocking, as I've only ever had two fillings many years ago and have never had ongoing dental issues. Panicked, I scheduled three separate filling appointments, totaling $1,282, with insurance covering $985.60 and leaving me to pay $296.40. In January, after turning 26 and transitioning to my own insurance for the first time, I was given a new estimate with a base total of $2,321, insurance covering $1,500, and my out-of-pocket cost jumping to $821. When I questioned the drastic increase in the base cost, I was brushed off with vague explanations about "complex insurance fee schedules." Something felt very wrong. I canceled two of the three appointments and sought a second opinion from a completely different dentist without sharing any information about my previous visit. They took new imaging and told me I had only one tooth with small areas of decay, nowhere near requiring a root canal. I had the filling done on February 11th and paid $51 total. I went from being told I had "several serious issues" to having one minor cavity. I am deeply concerned by the misinformation I was given, especially considering the extreme cost discrepancies and the fear-based approach used. Dental anxiety is real, and patients trust providers not to exploit it. This experience was upsetting, disappointing, and has completely eroded my trust in this office.

I had been experiencing some blinding pain and scheduled an appointment for a dentist to look over my teeth and help identify the cause - this insurance coordinator booked me 10 days out full well knowing and approving me paying out of pocket. Less than a day before my appointment, she called and left me a voicemail simply stating they would not be able to see me tomorrow or ever. When I called back to inquire, the receptionist and insurance coordinator became agitated and defensive going so far as to raise her voice over the phone with phrases such as "are you serious?" and "I don't know what to tell you". I did not once raise my voice or speak disrespectfully to the staff. Shame I never got to interact with the dentists or hygienists as they come highly recommended. Would not recommend this dental office to anybody due to the unaccommodating nature and overall lack of ethicality handling a situation with an individual experiencing extreme distress due to dental related pain.

In short order he did two "endosteal" dental implants for me. Boy, did I pick well! I had two teeth that needed replacing because I woke up one morning grinding my teeth so hard I KILLED two of them. This grinding is known as bruxism. In spite of having 15 crowns and a number of implants at this time, this was a new phrase to me. The process includes surgically inserting titanium screws into the jawbone. Does that sound solid? You bet it is!! He made the procedure seem simple, and did a great job. When I was able to have teeth attached to the endosteal implants, he recommended Dr. Cory Foster, DDS, who got me in as quickly as he could. Dr. Foster does things a little differently from my last dentist. Instead of making the new teeth in his office, he takes an impression and has a lab in Longmont make them for him. That is all they do, and they are about as good at the job as they can be! I say that because my teeth are PERFECT! Seriously, they could be my old teeth, except, of course, they aren't broken. You've heard the phrase "when one door closes another one opens"? Well, that's true in this case. I am SO happy to have not only a new periodontist, but a new dentist that I can count on to do the job right, and not leave me with months of pain, as "Dr" Murphy did. Dr. Livingston and Foster are both perfectionists, and work to exacting tolerances, which is exactly what this profession calls for. I appreciate the expertise and knowledge they both have, and am happy to show that appreciation for the rest of my life!

They only take a few kinds of dental insurance, but their prices are reasonable. The hygienists I have had so far have done a great job, they are educators as well and as a result I have gone from 3 x per year cleaning to 2 with no dental intervention needed. Dr. Foster comes in after each cleaning and checks, he is quick, efficient and kind. I would mention I have had nothing but the cleanings, but so far I am very satisfied and have trust in this office.

They were good enough to see me very quickly, and as I feared, the tooth needed to be extracted. Everything that day went well. They scheduled me for a cleaning and exam a couple of weeks later. The cleaning seemed to go well, and much to my surprise, I was told my gums and teeth were in good shape. It had been since before Covid that I had been to the dentist, and feared things would be bad. I had 2 cavities, but they filled them, and all appeared well. THIS IS WHERE THE WHEELS CAME OFF THE CART They informed me I would be contacted so their oral surgeon, who does not work in the office regularly, could put a post in for an implant. They never called, so I called them, and communication was horrible. Finally I got a text telling me the date they would do the work. But as that date approached I was never contacted about a time. Twice on the phone they told me they had to send a referral. I finally called the oral surgeon's office, and was told they didn't have a referral, but they squeezed me in on the date I had been told. I called the office at O&A again, and only got an answering service. Told them I needed a referral for the implant, and needed a callback urgently. They never called back. Out of frustration, I contacted a different dental office. They had me come in, and their equipment and processes were more modern and much more thorough. Turns out my concern about my dental health was correct. I had another tooth based on xrays and more advanced imaging, that had a bad infection, and though there was no pain, the bone loss was significant, and that tooth also was loose due to the bone loss. I had suspected this might be a burgeoning issue, but it was missed by O&A. My gums also were in need of some serious maintenance because of the long time having not seen a dentist. So I am having another tooth removed before the infection becomes a serious issue in my jaw, and am finally getting the implant needed from O&A, and am having a scaling and cleaning to help with my gums. I was NOT being over sold by the new office. The X-rays and imaging were very clear in the issues they exposed, all of which were missed by O&A. O&A had also not recommended any antibiotic for my infection, which my new office provided me with. I'm not someone who leaps to use antibiotics, but it was clear they were warranted in this situation. I canceled all future work from O&A last week since I got no call back from the office, and I had found a different office for my oral health. This morning, at 7:20AM mind you (who returns calls before 8AM?) I was awoken by a call from O&A, saying that they had a message I needed to speak with them. I made that urgent request 7 days ago! Avoid this office if possible. The people were all very nice, but their communication and dental expertise is suspect and downright neglectful. Glad I'm in good hands now.
