After the first appt I checked and found although they did accept our insurance this office does not accept the exact plan we have as it is a PPO. They gave my son 2 different estimates of the work he needed. I found this all very strange so I decided to call. now mind you he is technically an adult so i didn't give my name I just asked questions about do they explain that they are not part of the PPO plan ETC. They claimed that YES they do tell patients their out of pocket MAY be higher because they don't accept that part of the insurance but really it depends. sometimes they write things off sometime they don't then you would be required to pay more??? NO definite percentage or any definite rules they follow. I said I found that unprofessional and never mind thanks bye and hung up. Next thing I know my phone rings. YES they have caller ID and felt the need to call me back and press their point. I was upset. If I had wanted you to know who I was or wanted you to call my home I would of GIVEN you that information. She then proceeded to try and explain that there is no definite answer and that they had explained this to my son in detail( what detail you don't even know) I told her i didn't want to hear it or argue about it then she started talking about my adult sons case to me. And how they had planned to figure out what they were really going to charge him and have a meeting with him first. They never said any of this to him. I tried twice to get her to stop without just point blank hanging up. She kept saying "just let me explain" I told her I didn't want to hear it and din't want to hear that my questions cause you to react differently to my son. Well guess what 3 days later my son gets a phone call from this woman telling him his next appt is cancelled and to go elsewhere. This office is EXTREMELY unprofessional. They need to be upfront about which insurance they take and HOW DARE they call back someone from their caller ID who never asked for a call back or intentionally gave you their private information. I am filing a complaint with our insurance also.

I have received care from this office off and on since around 2010. Each time I sought care elsewhere had to do with location convenience. I have always come back because I have been unable to find the same high quality care elsewhere. Dr Thompson is thorough, personable, and professional and an excellent dentist. He listens to his patients. The office staff are courteous, caring, and efficient. They too provide excellent service and listen to their patients. I took my 6-year-old daughter here months back, and she needed a filling. All was fine until they…read moretried fitting the crown on. They spent 45 minutes as the pain meds were wearing off trying to fit the crown on. The dentist was becoming visibly frustrated, and finally gave up trying as my daughter was clearly starting to become uncomfortable as the pain medication was wearing off and her jaw was tired. And then, instead of doing anything to remedy it or having us come back another time to finish the job, the dentist pretended all was fine and sent us on our way after collecting our money to avoid a bruised ego. After such a negative experience, we changed dentists, and I was not going to comment further, but I feel like now I need to. The new dentist looked at the tooth at my daughter's next dental cleaning and told us that it should have been fit for a crown and not left exposed, but at this point, all we could do was wait and see if any problems arise or pull it. We opted to wait to try to avoid losing the tooth prematurely. It ended up infected and had to be pulled. I am so disappointed with the dentist at this location who worked on my daughter, and the awful job that was done. Not to mention, after leaving a google review, the complete lack of care or accountability for what happened. I trusted this dentist with my child, and this experience has opened my eyes to the fact that just because somebody is a "professional," does not mean that they will put my child's best interests ahead of their own ego. I would absolutely not recommend taking any child to this dentist.

I loved the staff, very friendly at the front desk. Erin helped me figure out my insurance stuff and get all settled. Dr. Stewart was awesome, as well as all of his hygienists. I didn't encounter one single person who didn't smile. Every visit was nice, and everything was explained to me super clearly from start to finish as well as cost. They've got a happy customer willing to make the hour drive, that's for sure! My favorite part? That ceiling tv!!!
