I had been experiencing some blinding pain and scheduled an appointment for a dentist to look over my teeth and help identify the cause - this insurance coordinator booked me 10 days out full well knowing and approving me paying out of pocket. Less than a day before my appointment, she called and left me a voicemail simply stating they would not be able to see me tomorrow or ever. When I called back to inquire, the receptionist and insurance coordinator became agitated and defensive going so far as to raise her voice over the phone with phrases such as "are you serious?" and "I don't know what to tell you". I did not once raise my voice or speak disrespectfully to the staff. Shame I never got to interact with the dentists or hygienists as they come highly recommended. Would not recommend this dental office to anybody due to the unaccommodating nature and overall lack of ethicality handling a situation with an individual experiencing extreme distress due to dental related pain.

The doctor came in and he considered all of my concerns after checking my medical history. He did a cancer screening and checked my gums in addition to evaluating my xrays. I never felt rushed, yet I did see their concern for my dental care. The dental hygienist, Jamie was super gentle. My husband, daughters, their family members all go to this office. This dental practice is not what it used to be over 10 years ago. Dr. Wuerker has lost all interpersonal skills. I was an idiot for giving him a second chance. After walking around to cool down, I found a homeless guy who lives behind the FNB who offered me a cleaning and he did a wonderful job. Yeah his hands were a bit more shakey than Dr. Wuerker but he gives you a little hi chew when you're done so it works itself out in the end. He also accepted many payment methods including multiple brands of cigarettes (open and unopened!) Dr. Wuerker has a cool dog that gave me a boop outside when I needed it so thankful for that small moment but that's about it. Find another practice. Save yourself a TON of stress and $$$. They get you in the door then will drop all the extra $$$ during the visit when none was discussed on phone. Second time. I wish the dog well but that's about it. In truth that was my last time trying to go any dentist. I've given up on all hope at this point which shatters me.

They said there was a 6 month wait, but after 6 years (bad me, I know), I decided to wait it out. I arrived my first visit and had the best dental visit of my life - almost no pain (X-Rays suck when the plastic hits the bones in your mouth, that's inevitable). I made my follow-up appointment for six months right then and there. Ever since then, I've had the pleasure of having Chelsie as my hygienist and will request her if possible, for every visit. She's friendly and interested in her patients' lives while not asking them questions while she has metal tools in their mouths. I've never had a pain issue when she's been working with me. Angela works the front desk and has been beyond helpful with me from making my first appointment, through changing my insurance and ensuring I was covered by the new company. She's friendly and makes calls and texts to confirm things when I had any questions with no hesitation and complete honesty. When I got there I asked about that, and was told they were running early. How could they have know that 3 days prior? Then I again verified my expense and was told that Medicare would only pay a small amount and that I would be responsible for the additional charges. I asked what that would be, and was told 'it depends'. I like to know up front how much things will cost before I receive the services. I was unhappy with the reply, and left. They were annoyed and told me the time had been set aside for me.

I also have a porcelain partial cap on one of my front teeth, from a high school accident. He expertly re-veneered it for me, because after 20 years it had yellowed differently and I wanted a bright smile for my wedding photos! She only has one other dentist for competition, and that is my childhood dentist, who was just as good. Growing up, I thought all dentists were good with patients, knowledgeable and did their best to make you comfortable. After learning this was not the case, finding someone like Dr. Ray is just awesome. I've been seeing her for close to five years now, both at the CSU clinic and her private practice, and I received the same excellent care. She is also very good at what she does- she often does her own cleanings, is thorough and although I don't want to admit my cavity history, awesome at fillings. I had a previous dentist not give me enough Novocaine, causing some anxiety during this process. She was very understanding and kind and worked with me to make sure I was okay during the entire process. To give you an idea of how much I like her as a dentist, I live in Denver and drive 60 miles to see her. Last year, I attempted another dentist due to some unfortunate dental insurance and he tried to replace a lot of stuff that wasn't needed. Dr. Ray is honest about what you need, and will work with you on your schedule and payments. I HIGHLY recommend her as your dentist if you are in the Fort Collins area or surrounding areas, or if you are a die-hard fan, drive up from Denver.

(I never write reviews, so the fact that I'm writing this says a lot, if you ask me.)…read more I absolutely cannot say enough positive things about the wonderful work Dr. Nicole Holmes, Dr. Dan Holmes, Savannah, and the entire front office team does. (The other staff is wonderful, too, I just haven't interacted with them as much.) I had to get crowns throughout my entire mouth (long story), and they nailed it!!! They were so sensitive to my anxiety issues, and Dr. Nicole's technique in giving shots (for numbing) is unrivaled! They even re-did a few teeth that I wanted to look a little different. They were completely understanding and accommodating about my request to have these re-done, even though they had to take out a few permanent crowns they had already put in!! Since they have STATE OF THE ART equipment, they were able to remove these easily. Honestly, it was amazing! Seriously, if you're looking for a dentist, go here. (Oh and they were SO helpful with the financial stuff! They offered unique payment plans in addition to the regular care credit plans you see other places. They are wonderful!!!)
