Very compassionate and caring dentist. Very affordable to those without insurance. Yes I would definitely recommend Robert.

Which was comforting leading up to my appointment. When I got there however it was pretty much my worst nightmare. The front desk was nice, and super nice when talking about all the options after, but during the appointment I was shuffled around and flatly told that I'm going to need dentures in 5 years. My teeth are not in horrible condition, so to think I was being offered an option to have them all ripped out and put in dentures at 38 was absolutely terrifying. I feel like he didn't believe I would stick with the treatment because of my anxiety or didn't think I could afford other options. But what he didn't realize is that I worked myself up for years to finally go to this appointment and I made a promise to myself to see this process through, and I would've appreciated a Dentist that supported that mindset with hope. I am going to my cleaning. I'm going to update my review as this process goes along. I know a lot of people out there have these same fears and it upsets me with this place claims to be so good with anxiety but handled me with little to no care.

I tried again and again to make it work, attending multiple visits and following the plan as best I could. The daytime splint caused intense sensory distress, and despite several adjustments, it remained unwearable. I was never offered an alternative path forward. The nighttime splint was also flawed and had to be manually altered by a dental assistant due to a lab error. I was told a properly made replacement would be ordered, but it never arrived. This was not a small investment. I paid nearly $5,000 out of pocket and never received results. The devices were not tolerable, not effective, and not completed to the standard promised. I filed both a dispute and a board complaint. Both were ultimately denied, which was devastating, but I stand by the truth of my experience. I have no treatment to show for the cost and continue to live with the same pain that brought me to their office in the first place. I'm sharing this so others can make informed decisions. I would never want anyone else to walk the same path I did or to feel as dismissed, unheard, or defeated as I do now. This review reflects my personal experience and opinions based on the care I received. I am sharing it in good faith to inform others and contribute to honest, open conversations around healthcare decisions.

I began this journey in November of 2023. Anyone thinking of beginning this process needs to get…read moreALL the facts and in WRITING . Upon my initial visit I was wanting to see one Dentist but was quickly shifted to another as he was available. So available I feel that I may have been his first patient. I went through a lengthy consultation ( most offices offer this for free but this office does not). I was told many things and became hopeful and excited. My teeth were all extracted though I believe some could have been saved as the bruising I experienced meant my eye teeth must have been difficult extractions I don't know, but after the bruising started I asked if I fell out of the chair it was that bad. I'll make a long and horrible story short, it is now June 2024 , my health is poor as I am still unable to eat. What weight I have is under the skin fat as I cannot eat proper nourishing food. My digestion is shot! I enjoy nothing to eat! Nothing will help these dentures stay in. I spent thousands ( all of my retirement funds) and then much to my surprise am told I should have some implants but initially was told I had too much bone loss and was not a candidate. But my , how things change when money is involved. Well I don't have it. I can take two bites and have to go to the bathroom and goop up again. The teeth are flat and who can chew with flat teeth that don't fit. ? My life has forever changed. I cannot go out to eat with friends, I don't go to family dinners due to embarrassment. I am now a shut in with health and mental health issues all because I trusted an office and Dentist and staff to look after my best interest and following through with an initial plan without changing it up for more $. This has been and continues to be my worst nightmare and has changed my life forever. Think about this service and ALWAYS get a second opinion. That was my mistake that I will regret for the remainder of my life. I will say I did come out of it with a nice smile(though I haven't smiles in months) and weight control for the rest of my life since eating and enjoying food is non-existent.

They sent me to the Oral Surgeon they use, and the lady at the front desk was very rude to me. They didn't take my insurance and I would have to prepay for the service I was getting in full!! I don't know how they stay in business if she treats most people this way. I had paid with my debit card $25 for the consultation and she told me she'll put it towards the balance of the consultation fee. I asked her "what??" It was $150 for the consultation fee but I was told $25. And I had to wait for weeks to get my $25 back!! I paid with my debit card and that's the same as cash, but because Dr.Reynolds DDS had to write me a check, I had to wait for my money and then they wouldn't mail it, I had to go to the office and get it. And now Aspen Dental is constantly bothering me to pay for the X-ray that should've been pre authorized and it's $400!! I'm disabled and elderly and they knew my financial situation. I haven't had teeth for over a decade and I have a hard time swallowing food and getting it chewed up enough so I don't choke. It seems like all they care about is their money.I won't be paying them for the X-ray as I didn't want anything my insurance wouldn't cover. The snap in dentures WITH my two grants were still going to be $6,000! I couldn't get an itemized breakdown of the charges. The only thing I could get was the bill they believe I owe them. They told me that they were necessary yet the Oral Surgeon told me they would be taking their own. Aspen & Reynolds have a pretty hefty scam going on here!! They take advantage of people who come in with no knowledge of what they really need. You need to get a second opinion if you do go to Aspen Dental even if you had a good first visit. Make sure that you need everything they're saying and not just lining their wallets!!
