My tooth cleaner Cassidy did an amazing job at cleaning my teeth and made sure to let me know the spots where I need to brush more. Lastly, Dr. Ho the dentist was very detailed and made sure to give me a complete rundown of my teeth. He also described what my breathing canal looked like as well as a couple prone areas for cavities. Overall, I have no complaints and I was very satisfied with my experience here.

That said, I feel compelled to give Dr. Ho a three star review. Dr. Ho is a nice guy, and definitely seems to "know his teeth." However, to continue with the dental metaphors, the lingering taste in my mouth from my visit was one of irritation with the practice's inefficient, time intensive workflow, which IMHO, completely negates the convenience benefits of the practice's location, and for the reasons set forth herein, doesn't really make sense from either a dental care or business perspective. My routine cleaning and dental exam took over an hour to complete, with at least twenty five minutes spent poring over 3-D scans of my skull and teeth, and Dr. Ho discussing how the 3-D scan showed that one of my sinuses was fully blocked. (regrettably, the fact that only 50% of the cost of the 3-D imaging would be covered by my insurance was not part of the discussion). Fascinating stuff, that rundown on my nasal passages - but a bad use of my time when I'm breathing fine, my teeth don't hurt and I've got to run back home to ferry a toddler to daycare. Further, about 15 minutes into the discussion of 3-D scan of my head and teeth (including asides on the state of my sinuses), Dr. Ho went from being generally sanguine about my dental health to going back and forth as to whether he saw a cavity . From this, I conclude that there is some probability I have a cavity, and we should definitely keep a close eye on one or more of my teeth. By my math, my dental visit was made ~20-25 minutes longer and $150 more expensive than it needed to be due to the long winded review of the partially out-of-plan 3-D imaging. From a business and prophylaxis standpoint, the better move would have been to skip the 3-D imaging, and to the extent x-rays presented a tricky question of whether I have a cavity in need of attention, move up the date of my next checkup to keep an eye on my possibly latently janky tooth. We'd all win this way. I'd get back my precious time, insurance would have paid for everything, and Dr. Ho would easily recapture the revenue from the $%^&-ing out-of-plan 3-D scan in future cleanings and visits. Further, if routine cleaning/checkups proceeded quicker and did not include a partially out-of-plan 3-D scan as a matter of default, I'd be inclined to send the rest of my family to this practice, so we could all get our teeth done and go for burgers afterwards. But so long as such a visit would foreseeably take four-plus hours and cost me $600 for the uninsured portion of four 3-D scans, that's not a sensible option. That said, I'm a reasonable guy, and if presented with evidence of shorter visit times and making the 3-D imaging optional, I'd consider updating this review and returning to this practice, as Dr. Ho appears to be a thoroughly competent dentist with an uber-convenient location.

Ronci looks to be younger and therefore perhaps less experienced than he actually is. (I even asked him how old he was - if he was irked by such an intrusive question he was mature enough to conceal it.) I was happy that he didn't rush the visit, and showed genuine concern, not only about my teeth, but pocketbook too. Ronci's dental chair is extremely cushy. I don't know much else about dental equipment other than his looked advanced enough to do everything but cook dinner. Dentistry has come a long way since days of yore when dental drills were only slightly less jarring than a jack hammer. More importantly, I found Dr. Ronci's work to be meticulous and very nearly pain-free. He even managed to tame my dread of the Novocain needle (assisted by hygienist Denise's calming hand-pats). The front desk is manned by Cynthia and Lei, who greet each of the patients like the friends we have become.

I received a text and email to fill out digital paperwork. I also received reminders as it got close to my appointment date. When I went into the office I was greeted by a friendly office manager. She checked me in. I was then called to go to the cleaning chair by a temporary hygienist. She was great. She explained everything to me as we went along. She took X-rays and then told me the doctor who would come in to check the status of my teeth and gums and then move on to the cleaning. The dentist explained to me what needed to be done. She had the office manager check with my insurance and then they brought a quote of the price to sign for what I needed done. Nothing was done without my knowledge. I signed the paperwork and the cleaning began. When cleaning she noticed an issue with my enamel on a tooth and told me she could fix it. I asked about cost and if I needed to schedule a separate appointment. The office manager checked with my insurance again and gave me the quote. I agreed and they were able to fix my issue. After the x-rays (the technician, Peter, was great) was shuffled to the hygienist. She kept calling me "honey" in a condescending tone and said she was "surprised" my x-rays looked so good after waiting so long to visit a dentist. Was asked multiple times about Invisalign, braces and other cosmetics that I had already said I wasn't interested in. I was really getting the hard sell at this point. She checked my gums and said they were in need of some TLC but nothing severe. She said it would be best to break up the cleaning into a 2-part visit. I asked what that would cost and she said she'd have the billing specialist work out the plan. The dentist came in, looked at my teeth for maybe 2 minutes then said i would need a cleaning (the whole reason for my visit) and agreed it would require 2 more visits. She then said I needed to watch some video about gum disease from the 1990's and left. The billing specialist then walked me through a multi-visit plan costing upwards of 600-1000 a visit! Then gave me a bill for 300 for that visit where i received no cleaning at all and only had x-rays taken. It was a complete scam, zero patient care, total hard-sell on cosmetics and dr. doyle clearly only cares about making money and not the health of the patients. I left sobbing and feeling less then human. I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone.

They were so nice we decided to use them as our primary dentist after that. When I scheduled my first cleaning, which was great I will say, he told me that I had 10 cavities. Prior to that I had zero. I knew that I had a couple of problem teeth that needed looking at but not 10. I decided to trust them and let them fill the cavities, no matter how minor. I overheard one of the women working at the front desk mention how great our insurance was, and thought that was strange that someone would say that out loud. We went for another 2 years there for cleanings only and one day after one of my cleanings, I got a bill in the mail. I drove to the office and was told that they no longer took our insurance. I asked why no one advised me when we went in for cleanings but they didn't have a good answer. Fast forward 5 years later. I'm finally getting one of the cavities that was filled fixed and needed to get a crown. They're very nice and if you're just going for a whitening or cleaning, it's great. If they say you need 10 cavities filled, get a 2nd opinion.
