Too pricey! All American Double Burger was okay (can't even compare it to In and Out's Double Double), French Fries was fresh and crispy but bland. Service was average, took a while for my order but understandable. Tables, floor, and surrounding area were clean.

I had a great meal here when Smash Burger first opened a few years ago. I was very happy with the food. Haven't ate there since. I was there just recently and had a single Burger with fries and shake. This time the Burger was soggy the Burger was dry and way over cooked, I was surprised how they stopped using beef stake tomatoes and started using these little tiny Roma Tomatoes, Very small 2 thin slices, what a joke. But they change you almost 30 bucks for the meal.

I ordered Smashburger inside Harrah's, and this was honestly one of the worst burgers I have had. The patty was literally smashed cold to the point of being dry and unappealing, and the flavor just was not there. The fries were half-full in the cup and cold as ice, which made the meal even more disappointing. I should have known better ordering at 9:45 PM, but even then, the quality should never be this low. Overall, a very unpleasant experience and definitely not worth the price.

We got to Smash burger pretty late around 1930 (7:30pm) They close at 2200 (8pm), pretty early in my opinion but we got there just in time to order. Not much on the menu, it's not like other Smash Burger joints. Limited items here but you can add Avocado, mushrooms etc on your order for a fee. It's a bit pricey for the add ons. We ended up getting an order of smash fries, rosemary smash fries and three double classic burger (two with cheese and one without cheese). They were all freshly made, it was huge portion! I only ate half of mines. The fries were so crispy and flavorful. The staff working in the kitchen was very friendly, happy and made jokes while I was waiting for my food. Happy crew I love to see. They gave me so much condiments for my to go order. That's the service I like! I had ordered one time before at this location and it's always been fast and delicious. Can't go wrong with a classic burger and crispy fries.

Chicken tenders and garlic fries yummy!!!

Very good food, fast service. Though of course it's in a casino so there might be a long line. Please be patient with the employeesthey are doing the best they can. Though always call out an employee who doesn't wash their hands. For instance; we were in line and another customer was saying hey excuse me tell him to wash his hands. He ( the cook ) was touching his hat and fixing his hair and was going to touch the food he was cooking. The manager quickly stopped him before he procceeded to the cooked food and then apologizd and went to wash his hands. So just keep an eye out.

    Clearly says they do doubles.

When i first ordered he pushed the first person assisting me aside and said he'll take my order. Efrain proceeded to take my order wrong and after catching it on the receipt and telling hkm he simply responded with we dont do any double smash burger. Done for his convenience. There seems to be a lot of chatter between them while prepping my order. Especially emphasing there isn't any cameras in the washroom. With pure laziness to make any correcguons and talk that is loud enough for everyone to listen to maybe this would be the best time to train him or work ethics.

The truffle mushroom burger is amazing. I love the soft buttery bun and the truffle after taste that kicks in after each savory bite. Nice to ish with rosemary flavored French fries. The cashiers are friendly. It's food is a little overpriced but it's located in a casino in Valley Center in a galaxy far far away with no other burger place around... Anyways, I'll be back .

This place is located inside the Harrahs Southern California Resort. I thought the restaurants at the resort were outrageously overpriced, so this establishment offers one of the few affordable alternatives for a meal if you are staying at the resort. I ordered the turkey burger, which went for $10.93. I thought it was just ok. It was certainly nothing special. It was definitely not worth the price, but a lot more affordable than the full service restaurants there.

Needed a little distance while gambling so grabbed a burger. The nice thing about a chain restaurant is that you know what to expect. So there aren't a lot of surprises. The burger was tasty. Unlike other Smash Burgers I've been to, this one makes the burgers in advance and they sit under a heat lamp. While I appreciated how quickly I could get back to the slots aka keep losing money, it would have been nice to have a freshly made burger. Staff was friendly. As a Caesars Rewards Diamond, I got a 10% discount.

Food: 4. Came by for a Wednesday midday lunch. I ordered a Double Classic Smash Burger and Smashtots. I requested pickles on the side, onions grilled, and tots crispy. The person who took my order was efficient and helpful. Food came out timely, at the right temperature, and my special requests were followed. Burger was very good as well as the tots. For the tots, no additional cost to have them Smashtots. I prefer my fried potatoes with catsup and ranch and the Smashtots add didn't do anything for me. Service: 4.5 Value: 3.75

Two burgers, tots, two soft drinks - $40

This is a bit of a weird review. This is for the Smashburger inside Harrah's in Funner (Valley Center). The food itself was fine. It's crazy overpriced (2 burgers, one shared order of tots, and 2 bottled soft drinks - the only option) was $40) for "fast" food that was very slow. Now, partially this is my fault. I'd never been out to this casino before and didn't know what to expect. It's a giant casino in the middle of basically nothing. Super weird driving up to it in the dark. You go down this twisty two lane road and all of a sudden there's a giant casino tower with all the neon all by itself. There's a 4 story parking garage as well as a huge ground level parking lot. I found out what I was in for when I had to circle multiple levels to find a parking space! Yes, this place was PACKED - admittedly it was the Saturday of Superbowl weekend, but I didn't anticipate the crowds. We were there to see a show at the theatre (Penn and Teller) - the theatre was a nice venue, I'd see another show there. However, show started at 8 and it's a drive to get there, so we figured we'd have dinner at the casino. Mistake. There are several restaurants there from very casual to Hell's Kitchen and they were absolutely packed. It was a 40 minute line just to get these burgers and getting a table to eat them at was a challenge with other people waiting for tables standing over you like hunting cats ready to pounce the second you take your last bite! There was only one cashier working for this very long line, which is why it was so slow. The food came out pretty quickly once you ordered but... wow, what a wait for fast food. The burger was fine, in fact, pretty decent for fast food. The smashtots were really good, would definitely order those again. I wanted a milkshake but they're $10 each (without alcohol) so I passed. Alcoholic versions for $12 each. The pricing just seemed excessive, but you're paying for the convenience since you're out in the middle of nowhere basically.

We do however have our preferred or favorite servers, food runners and hosts. We prefer and LOVE Monica. Her energy, intelligence, and smile are top notch. Andres a food runner has been there a long time who also has a great personality, and one of the few runners who actually remembers to bring you a requested item. These individuals we've known a long time, and believe they would be better suited as trainers, supervisors or even management. I'd include Tomas in our Patties favorites, but he was moved to Black and Blue Steak House. Another favorite restaurant at Valley View. We're also fans of Michael, and a few others I can't remember their names at the moment, especially an extremely likable, smaller statured food runner who was made a server a few months ago. Having been in management in the plumbing industry I know how important training in one's daily tasks and people skills is to a quality business like Valley View Casino, the only casino we frequent. Unfortunately, bad experiences happen even in the best of establishments. Last night at Patties we had a new server who seemed so serious, barely a smile. Which is fine. I don't mind that so much. Definitely not enduring or memorable though. She did her job well, and even checked to make sure our food tastes good, and if we had all we needed. My main issue came when we got our bill, and I asked her to adjust the tip. I realize how cheap that sounds, but let me continue. When we first were ordering we mentioned we had a lot of food we wanted to take home. It was the end of the month, and we had over a hundred dollars worth of food vouchers we needed to use up. We normally don't have any left over. She excitedly, almost smiling encouraged us to order our takeout right away with her, "otherwise we would have a long wait, if we didn't put our order in right away." We spent just under $60.00 for our sit down meal. Our normal 20% would've been $12.00 on the $60.00. Our to go order was just under $100.00, which I felt definitely deserved a tip, but not the 20% suggested gratuity that the bill included. Maybe we were being cheap. I don't know. The obvious anger on her face when I asked her to adjust the tip was palpable. I asked her to adjust the $32.00, "Suggested Gratuity," to $20.00, which I would've been grateful for the years of being a food server in college. She got 20% for our dining in, and about 10% for our to go order. Not so cheap after all. When she returned with the revised bill, she was so mad she could barely talk. Poor thing. Felt kind of bad for her. She muttered a couple of times I could barely hear her, but kept asking what she said. The third time she said clearer that we shouldn't order to go food with her, that we should go to the to go window next time. She should've been happy for the 20% on the meal, and 10% on the to go order. It all adds up over the shift. We definitely will avoid her at all costs. Next time we'll request our favorites.

3 stars (or whatever fits your vibe--solid but not standout)…read more Honestly, I probably wouldn't drive all the way out here just to eat at Patties & Pints. It's tucked inside Valley View Casino, about 45 minutes north of central San Diego, so unless you're already gambling, staying overnight, or in the area, it's not a destination spot. There are plenty of better standalone burger joints or pubs closer to home. That said, the food is good--nothing mind-blowing or worth raving about, but reliably solid for casino pub fare. We went with burgers from their signature all-beef blend, and they hit the spot without any major complaints. The deep-dish pizzas, wings, fries, and other apps seem consistent based on what I've seen around. Portions are decent, and it's satisfying if you're craving something hearty with a beer. Our server, Marcus, was decent too--just did his job without going above and beyond. Attentive enough, no issues, but nothing exceptional either. One thing that really bugged me: they automatically add a tip (auto-gratuity) even for a two-person table. That's ridiculous in my book. It feels like it removes any incentive for better service and just assumes mediocrity is fine. For small parties in a casual spot like this, it comes off as greedy. The place itself is clean and well-organized, which is a nice change from some casino spots. But it's pretty small for a casino restaurant, so it can feel cramped. Seating/waiting is poorly managed--wait times drag on, and the system for calling names or seating people isn't smooth at all. Bottom line: If you're already at Valley View Casino, hungry, and don't feel like dealing with the buffet line (or want something quicker and more casual with beers and TVs for games), Patties & Pints is a fine option. It's convenient in that context. Otherwise, skip the drive--it's just average casino eats. Good luck, and hope the slots are kinder than the auto-tip policy!
