I live near this Smashburger, and really had not been overly impressed with the service or the food when we went there (Cold fries...dirty tables etc) ....so we favored the 104th location. Well, something has changed over the past year or so...for the better ! We decided to grab a burger on a Sunday for lunch...and the restaurant was soon flooded by hungry people waving groupons ! They were SLAMMED ! It was the first day of the groupon deal (I bought two for the 104th location) People were waiting for a place to sit, and getting "togo" orders....it was crazy. We waited about 20 minutes or so for our food...and when the employee brought it, she gave us a coupon for a free burger for waiting. She also busied herself clearing and wiping tables and tidied up. My theory is that the change is because of the employees who were hired..and perhaps a manager who got rid of the lazy-butts who were not pulling their weight. All I can say is, the staff handled groupon day with class and finesse..and I threw extra money in their tip-bowl. Wish I could have given them more ! We eat smash burger often - but this visit was terrible. The line took forever, with 2 people ahead of us. We then waited 10-15 minutes for our food, which was given to use in to go bags and wasn't remotely correct. When I told the manager my food came out wrong, he got mad when I asked him to make a new one and angrily threw the old sandwich into the trash. I looked at the screen, and it was entered correctly, so it was a kitchen error. I understand things happen, but they were so rude when I asked for my correct order. read more

I know they have good food and I wish I could have eaten there. However, this location told us that they were too busy and could not take any more orders. They still had space to sit in the restaurant. When we asked how long till they think they will be taking orders we were told they didnt know. We asked them to ask the kitchen. They asked "Are you guys ready to take orders now?" And we all heard a loud "NO!" from the kitchen. No manager was helping the kitchen. Apparently he was hidding in the back somewhere. The food was okay. The cashier kid, although good-humored, had a pretty smart mouth. All of that would have been excusable except the place was pretty filthy. Tables unwiped, bathrooms not cleaned, floors not swept. We were hungry and it served its purpose. Hopefully we don't get botulism. read more

If you've been to any Smashburger you'll immediately be familiar with the layout and concept of this rapidly growing chain. The restaurant is nice and roomy with a good selection of booths and is larger than a couple of other Smashburgers I have visited. I ordered the Baja Burger, my wife ordered a custom burger and we got a grilled cheese for my daughter. The Baja burger was excellent and the jalapenos were nice and fresh and provided great spice for my sandwich. Unfortunately my wife's order was missing the cheese which seems to happen most times she custom orders a burger from any location. The grilled cheese was tasty (Dad had to sample) but seemed rather overpriced because it is just a grilled cheese sandwich with American cheese. I gave it four stars since the food was tasty and quick to our table but there were enough little things that do detract from the meal. read more

This location has always been great. No problems with orders or anything else. They have great customer service (especially non-peak hours). I love building my own burger with the awesome fries with oil and herbs. A milkshake is always a must if you have the appetite. The only thing I would change is the oil content on the fries because there is an ample amount at the bottom when you're all done. Maybe offer wet wipes like a BBQ joint does. read more

I really don't get all the hype. Don't get me wrong the price is good, I like their variety for fry choices and the burgers are a good size. But the burgers are really nothing special, and the flavor is just lacking for me, my husband even complained that his was greasy. Maybe it was because I had a regular smash burger and the other ones might be more flavorful but there are better burgers out there. read more

I had never been to a smashburger but they always looked busy. when i got therefor lunch one day it was a delight-the haystack onion rings are to die for. They were thin, crispy, non greasy. I hate chunky onion rings where after a bite is taken the onion drags behind and hangs. These were just great. A burger can be a burger but good rings....anyway our hamburgers were good, too, and very promptly served. No complaints on the sevicee or the food. I didn'y like the dipping sauce(too spicy) but my husband did so it was personal taste. Will definitely go again. read more

LOVE it, love it even more since I went to Larkburger and found out how much more I love Smashburger!!! Love the burgers, love the customer service (some of the employees are really bad, but most of the time they are very helpful) LOVE the fries, and love the price, it is more than wendys but way worth it (and its cheaper than Larkburger). Love that I am able to order the Lettuce tomato and onion for the kid burger and they dont charge extra (like quiznos, sorry if my kid enjoys his vegis). Always very clean! read more

I rarely have a burger - especially from a chain. But, I kept hearing how good this place is. I finally cracked. You can order online and pick up your food. I had a truffle burger and took it home and added avocado. It was heaven! A regular size burger is filling enough for me. I love this place but hope I don't visit it more than once or twice a year. read more

When we ordered the new triple double plain, we were told they could not accommodate our request because it would change the taste of the burger?? This Smashburger location is the best in Colorado so far! The staff is very polite & friendly. The food (swiss truffle burger, smash fries, vanilla shake) was PERFECT. My husband has the bacon cheeseburger, regular fries & chocolate shake, He couldn't believe how much he liked it. He usually will never eat burgers out. We plan on going to this location whenever we go out for burgers.This place is the cleanest ! Lot more tables at this one also. It is worth the drive to go to this one. read more

The only problem with this place is that it's not next to my work. This is my favorite burger joint - the BBQ Cheddar with haystack fries is the best. My wife likes to eat healthy, so she really likes the grilled chicken and fried vegetables. This is one of the only fast food places that makes chocolate malts from real chocolate ice cream (Haagen Daz, if I'm not mistaken). The service is good and you can tell the manager really cares about keeping customers happy. I prefer to eat here over a fancy restaurant! read more

I've eaten at 2 other Smashburgers in Colorado Springs many times. One is better than the other. But it's still my favorite burger place. We were in Northglenn and were starving so stopped in here. Great food and the shakes rock!

I really like Smashburger for the great-tasting burgers but, unfortunately, have to give them a low rating due to the poor service we received on our last two visits to this location and non-response from Smashburger about comments made about those visits. The last two times we asked that our a la carte side orders be placed in baskets not randomly on our a la carte burger plates. We wanted to be able to share the sides by passing them around rather than have them "tied" to any one person's entre. Both times we were told that it would be no problem and both times the sides were put on the burger plates. Not only were the sides quite small, they were also cold. One time we complained to the server and were told that they were out of clean baskets. A quick visual survey showed that ALL other customers who had ordered before and after us had received separate side baskets. We commented on the Smashburger website, which claims we would receive a response wihin 48 hours. Never got one (a response). We then commented about the fact that we never received a response and we never received a reponse for our response. Great burgers but so-so sides and terrible customer service and responses. We have 100s of other places we can spend our money at. Never again at Smashburger. read more

I've been here twice. The first time I'd heard this was like In N Out, which I ate at when I lived in California. Well, not quite. True, the Smashburger I had was pretty good. Flavorful and juicy. The french fries were terrible though, especially at their nearly $2 price point. Any other fast food chain including Good Times has better french fries. The dining experience at this location is also bad. Dingy in a dirty little strip mall. The on duty manager was somewhat patronizing as well. My second experience was so terrible I chose not to complete my order. They had a trainee working the busy lunchtime hour with an older woman supervising. I gave the kid my order and his first question was "have you been here before? I have to ask that" What? I had to repeat my order which he didn't understand. Rather than repeat it a third time, I walked out and went to Wendy's for a burger that is almost as good, superior french fries, and a drink that doesn't cost a fortune. Simply terrible service the second time, the trainer should have stepped in and helped me out. $10 for a burger, fries, and a drink is not an trivial amount of $ for lunch at what is basically a fast food joint.
