Have been staying,at Harrah's/Laughlin for pass 20 yrs. Was shocked that McDonald's was not there and replaced with a burger place have never heard of. My husband and I tried it and would have been happier with McDonald's. They should be ashamed of themselves, soo expensive. $22 is WAY OVERPRICED. Hamburger was just like eating a Carl's burger, yet, Carl's is more tasty. The only way I can see how they'll survive, is that tourist come daily, but to those of us who come regularly will not come back, and I will give my opinion to everyone when I'm here. Freedom of speech you know. The poor families that come and see McDonald's not here, I feel for. This is way to expensive for families. I'm EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. We thought it would be a good burger, that was our first mistake. While eating, the staff turned on the ceiling lights and it was blinding into my eye. Very familiar with smashburger as there is one located in my neighborhood. This is a poor example. First, wasn't thrilled that McD is gone but when I saw it was Smashburger I thought ok, but a little pricey for the families that stay here. Probably the worst dining experience I've ever had...and I wasn't the only one. First impression: FILTHY. Almost left based on that. Waited 25 minutes for a burger and fries, I ordered a double they brought a single. Walked up to the counter: BOTH OF THE PARTIES that ordered just before me had wrong orders too. So after a 25 mn wait, we all had to wait longer. They remade another guy's chicken sandwich and gave it to him with ONE SIDE OF THE BUN. We just looked at eachother in disbelief. I went to Smashburger several times and it's fairly consistent on the quality. The mushroom and Swiss is really good.

I came to Harrah's Laughlin with my mom for a little mother daughter getaway! It was our last night here and we were starving around 10:30 pm! We decided to call in and pick up Smashburger and bring it back to our room. Unfortunately they don't take phone orders but not to worry they are open late! So we go down and place our orders for one burger and two fries to go! I went to fill up my soda and as soon as I sat down to wait for my order my name was called and my order was ready! I wasn't having a great experience at Harrahs to begin with. I never ate at Smashburger so I decided to try it out. The cashier Danielle is amazing! She recommended me several things on the menu and guaranteed me I would like them and I did! If it wasn't for Danielle's amazing customer service I wouldn't come back to Harrahs. This McDonald's replacement at Harrahs is a keeper. Their classic chicken burger , with the meat pounded into thin slices, was totally delicious. My wife raved over the truffle mushroom burger. Despite a limited menu, including breakfast items which we also tried, Smashburger does it right. Hungry gamblers will find this a good bet. read more

I saw smash burger on face book it looked amazing and we said we would try it out well to start the menu on line is different than in the restaurant the lady at the register was not paying attention and was yelling back and forth with another Co worker. We did get our food fast but the shakes we ordered did not they said it was coming well half way threw our meal they finally come my shake had no flavor the whip cream on top was good I had the oreo and my boyfriend a chocolate he said his was ok not impressed. The burger looked nothing like advertised it was skimpy and meat was very dry and had no flavor we were very disappointed we were upset that we even wasted the gas across town to try it. I say if you want a good burger I like a little place called river dog bar and grill I love the one they call the kitchen sink and they have the best fried pickles ever. One positive I can say about smash burger is it was clean and a there was a nice younger guy who kept checking on us. Even this yelp app. We have gone by at least 6 times when closed at night. We just got back from going to have breakfast burgers at 10:45 AM... CLOSED! Thought I would love this place especially since McDonald's was so bad that they took over. I felt sick to my stomach less then an hour after eating here and suffered though they next day.
