Let me tell you how I shook my shack over to Shake Shack and had a GREAT experience! Ok, well…read morethat's basically the story. I went to Shake Shack famished. When I say I was hungry, I LITERALLY walked in chewing my left shoe. After I was able to convince the workers I wasn't a zombie, I placed my order. The kiosk was user friendly, as I am not very tech savvy. In fact, in order to type this review, I had to: 1. Write a letter on papyrus in hieroglyphics. 2. Have that letter translated into English. 3. Take that letter, and send it by courier to my great granson's baby's mother's cousin Tracy. 4. SHE took the letter, and types it into this application. Ok, now to the food. It was bomb.com/partyofone,me. Meaning to say, it was really good. And the food came out really quickly! Quicker than my marriage to Gertrude in 38' unfortunately. By the way, Gerty, if you're out there (and still alive), call me.

Even with the restaurant packed, the team kept everything running smoothly and provided the level of service you'd hope for from a well-managed location. The self-order kiosks are fast, easy to use, and allow for plenty of customization. For anyone who needs assistance, several team members are readily available and happy to help, making the ordering process efficient from start to finish. Most importantly, the food was prepared exactly as ordered and arrived hot, fresh, and made to order. The staff remained enthusiastic, welcoming, and engaged throughout the entire visit, greeting guests and keeping orders moving with impressive speed and accuracy. I've visited quite a few Shake Shack locations, and this one stands out. This team operates like a well-oiled machine, delivering excellent service even during one of the busiest days of the year. Great job all around!

Their chicken cobb salad was great; lots of flavor with a hint of spicy. Yesterday, I went to lunch with that same friend. She ordered the buddha bowl and I ordered the birdman jr. sandwich with potato chips. The buddha bowl can feed two people. My sandwich had the perfect crunchiness to it due to the slaw. It was busy but not too loud where we could not hear one another.

I was delighted that I would get to experience some NOLA cuisine! I ordered the mushroom poboy and the gumbo and my goodness! The mushrooms were fried and seasoned and just the right amount of greasy goodness. The toppings were crispy and light and the mayo was so good! It had fallen apart just a little, but this was obviously due to delivery. And the gumbo was everything I wanted it to be. It was all amazing! I had the best time just chowing down alone in my hotel room Whenever my friend and I were exploring the quarter, we came across it again! I just had to try more. The front was so cute! The vibes were immaculate with music and vegan posters. The environment immediately felt welcoming to this southern vegan. They were originally out of the crabby patties, but the guy at the counter told me if I was willing to wait, he'd whip one up for me. And I'm so glad I did The Crabby Patty was absolutely superb and I don't think I've ever had a vegan crab cake dupe that was that enjoyable. I'm pretty sure it was a chickpea base with seaweed, but when I tell you this thing was seasoned amazingly!! The toppings were fresh and crisp and the bun was fluffy. All around a wonderful time. I want to come back every year!

Vegan spicy chicken! (4.5/5 Green Stars) How can you resist…read morea place named 2 Phat Vegans?! It's a lovely building in a great location, near the French market, Esplanade Ave., and Frenchmen St. The interior is cheerfully painted in bright colors with lots of art and posters on the walls. The bright green interior, contrasted against the red brick exterior, is fun and charming. I ordered my food to go a spicy chic'n sandwich (vegan chicken, vegan cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles) for $14.65, and waited at a table outside. The staff/owner seems a bit disorganized so you may wait a while depending on who's running the show. Case-in-point - the menu on the website is a mess! My food was good, however, and I'd have it again. Not a bargain, considering that it doesn't come with fries. Others report inconsistent quality - get your acts together, guys! I'm also rating 2 Phat Vegans 4.5 out of 5 Green Stars for social and environmental impact, based on the following: * Everything here is vegan. Adopting a plant-based diet is the top thing you can do to mitigate climate change, deforestation, animal cruelty, and global food scarcity (and improve your health!) * Many items seem to be made in house, for example the hot sausage, which I'll try next time. I just found that out from an interview with the owner on YouTube. The website could do a much better job on this selling point. * Black-owned local business that's pretty conscious about the food and drinks that they stock. * Room for improvement: my sandwich came in what appears to be a Styrofoam box. Switch this to compostable cardboard please! Styrofoam is nasty for the planet.

I expected a cookie cutter franchise vibe but it really fit into the neighborhood, giving off the feel of a local dive bar, and I love it. Our waiter was the greatest. He walked us through the menu and the drinks and let us know they actually have thousands of sandwiches. The menu itself is probably 4 to 6 pages, but you can use their app to see all the additional options. I ordered the "Marshawn Lynch" (fried chicken, bacon, BBQ sauce, Sriracha, mustard, and cheddar cheese) and added red onions, peppers, and pickles. My wife ordered a sandwich straight from the app, the "Bad Santa" (chicken fried steak, rich marinara sauce, savory pesto, and provolone cheese). Both sandwiches were incredible. We also grabbed two cocktails that were only $5 each. I'm already looking forward to trying more of these sandwiches.
