Came to smash dink while visiting from Nor cal. Amazing facility with amazing people. Played some amazing games with great friendly people. The facility is great with lots of seating and activities to do while waiting to play.

Smash Dink is a great indoor pickleball center. My family rented it for my sister's birthday and it was a smash. The front room is spacious for food and entertaining. Three pickleball room was even bigger. We had over 60 people and everybody was playing our chatting. I love that there are arcade games and lounging areas as well. The staff was super friendly. There's also plenty of parking. The only downside is the smell from the bathroom.

Smash Dink is the best place to have a date night!

This is the best place to have a date night and play pickleball. Everyone was so warm and friendly. Great games and amazing atmosphere! We love it here and will definitely be coming back.

What a cool place! I really enjoyed my time playing here. I was invited by a friend to do their open play for advance intermediate. $15 for 2.25 hours. I only got to play 5 games from 7:30pm-9:45pm. In my opinion, it was a little crowded. You'd get sweaty and warm from playing your game, but completely cool down and dry up by the time you play your next game due to the long waits. Not sure how they can make it more efficient. 3 courts were for higher levels and the other 3 were for lower. In my opinion, all the courts will be rented at all times. They should just have days for specific levels. This way, the wait times are lower and the flow of the games is more efficient. I was really impressed with how nice the courts are. The interior facility, decorations, and the lounging/waiting areas are really nice!

I am sure you have been sucked into playing pickleball as much as I have. Visiting the Valley in LA I was looking for a place to play indoor. Well, I surely found a gem. There are six courts available to rent, specific times for pickup play, practice and hang out with a great community of people. They have been open for about 6 weeks and looking awesome. Great vibe inside with music, places to chill, rest, or watch games. They have ping pong tables, retro video game machines, and much more. The courts are well built, lit well and easy on your body. If you love pickleball, being social and just being plain cool, you need to check them out. Enjoy!

So. Fun! A group of 10 of us rented 2 courts for 2 hours and we had a blast! Loved having our own dedicated courts and the cost split between the crew was really reasonable. The space is big, clean, multiple bathrooms and ample parking. 10/10 would come back!

This has been one of the most fun ways to spend time this year! If you enjoy playing a sport similar to tennis and ping pong, you'll love learning to play pickleball. The space is huge, and has a lot of amenities with comfortable places to hang out. The staff are all great and welcoming, and really care about the guest experience. Not only are you getting an intense cardio workout and building your skill, but you also get to socialize with new people. Everyone I've met, and even made new familiar friend faces, has always been really supportive and good team players. The queue for the paddles go really smoothly and relatively quick even when busy. Always have a great time when I come out to play, 3 hours goes by when you're having fun. I can't say enough good things about smash dink. So happy they've made this amazing recreational hang in our city! Come check it out.

This is a new pickleball indoor facility. It is located on a main Street on San Fernando Road and has a prime location, less than a few miles away from Costco. There is a parking lot for 10 cars and there is street parking. In the lobby you will see the check-in desk. You will need to sign a waiver to play at this facility. This place is welcoming to all communities. Open to the public and you can choose the option that best fits you. You are also encouraged to create an account on their website which directs you to court reserve. You can download the app, which gives you access to reserving your court or they take walk-ins. The lobby has many picnic tables to sit and hang out. Inside the facility you will find a large lounge area. There are many areas to sit as well as stadium style seated area. In the lounge are you will also see many retro arcade games. The facility has 6 pickleball courts and high ceilings. Met the owner Carolina and she was very helpful and friendly. Enjoy a game or a couple or even just hang around to watch.

Im obsessed with Smash Dink! Oh and I love pickleball too! Threw a Smash Dink birthday party for myself. Booked 2 courts and invited some cool peeps. SD allowed me to set up a table for food and libations in one of the lounge areas which made it Oh So Sweet!!! Smash Dink is the coolest place in town!!!

Who wants that? Of course, you need a paid membership here for that privilege. Membership is tiered and you can pay just to play tennis or pickleball and the highest tier allows access for all the courts, including the squash and racketball ones inside. With a paid membership and through their app, you can book a time slot to reserve your court. Hardest times to get are around 5 pm and up on weeknights as those are considered prime times. Weekends during the day are usually easier to get as well, although after 7 pm the courts are open to the public and everyone in LA comes out and it's the wild west. Everyone floods the best courts - 5 and 6 which are dedicated pickleball courts, the only 2 in the compound - and then you get a real spectacle of players, from average to really good players. There is an elitist expectation it seems that only good players are allowed to play on these two courts, which is just laughable and leaves a stink of pickleball snobiness all around. But oh well. Just as a side rant here: anyone can play pickleball and be good at it. You don't have to be incredibly athletic to excel. Just go out and watch and you'll know what I'm talking about. Another annoyance is that eiquette and basic courtesy are often compromised during these open hours. Some times, you'll have a few rude idiots that just walk through your court instead of coming in from the outside. I don't know what it is, but pickleball seems to attract a lot of people who lack self awareness! Everything is on the honor system as there's nobody there to really enforce your reservation, so sometimes you'll get some who play over their allotted time. Just kindly ask them to leave and usually they comply. Then there's the real rare occasion where they give you attitude for some reason. Just hilarious. Imagine fighting over a court that doesn't belong to you? Lmfao! The whole compound is fenced in so you have to go through the main entrance to get in. I saw one guy jump over the fence once to get inside. How desperate are you to play, bro? Just pay for a membership like any other productive member of society. At any rate, all the other courts other than 5 and 6 are tennis courts that can be converted in half to 2 pickleball courts (there are movable nets on each court). The other fenced courts on the north end are all dedicated tennis courts. Inside the facility, there are some squash and racketball spaces that seem to always be occupied. There's even a gym inside for members, but the equipment there is pretty basic and sparse. As for making reservations, the app acts funky sometimes and you can't get a reservation even though there are open spots. You just have to keep trying or call the shop and they'll help out. Other than a few annoyances mainly from the non members, it's a great place to play tennis and pickleball day and night!

I was referred by my coach to this day, I still come in to get restrung. They do a good job restringing and always put a label with the specs. They are fast and call you normally, within a few days maybe even less to pick-up. Their demo program is good. You can demo 1-2 rackets for a week then switch out. If you need a little more time with the rackets, phone in. They are pretty nice about it if you just communicate. I would rate 5 but the reason I put 4 stars is the "hits" and "misses" when I visit, particularly about the customer service and their general inventory. I've had top-class service from Beau previously, and a woman (I forget her name :( but she classifies herself as a hard hitter, heavy racket, and top spin player ha! She showed me how to determine if a racket is engineered to be power or precision rackets just by feeling and looking. They knew their stuff. The misses were when I came in and was offered help separate times, but I was offered not so great recommendations/ recs that were not what I needed, didn't mention some hint of knowledge that they understand different racket and string specs... average customer service of "yea, look around and see what you like. What you see is what we have" Thumbs down. This goes for the shoe section too. Now with their merch, they carry the popular stuff that sells but you can't get a racket in a particular color, underrated racquets, color shoes etc . No service to have the color/model shipped to the store. Also, I always check the sales section but every single time, I can never find my women's size 6/7 (which I know is the most popular shoe size) but I always see HUGE, multiple inventory of sizes like 10, 12, 14...this goes for shoes and clothing. I've never once bought anything at the sales section in my size, ever. They don't carry fun, stylish, likable colors of shoe models, tennis models..clothing like pleated tennis skirts with pockets, there's no current tennis hat or visor options, sweatbands, eyewear in different colors and styles, no cute bear key charms for tennis bag to promote Racket Doctor which I would proudly carry!...even not much color selection for grips. No patterns, no fun colors. I would be purchasing way more if they were more open and just more fun. Pricing is fair for their services. So they are very reliable for stringing service, and demo'ing, getting your usual Tour Bite strings but don't expect to find something in particular.
