    Smash fries

Wanted to treat ourselves to some delicious burgers and decided to finally make to Smash Daddy's. Overall it was a great experience and burger. The ambiance was okay. There's no music or anything so it kinda felt quiet and sterile. The place is super clean though. With dining in it would've been ideal to have fountain drinks but they only have canned soda in a cooler. That's ok for to-go orders but dine in should have fountain in my opinion. My husband said the burger could use more seasoning but I thought mine was fantastic. If you like more seasoning you could add some more salt. The fries are huge! My daughter and I split a basket. My husband got the smash fries and I stole a few bites. Soooo good! The service was good but the woman asked us what our order name was but she never even took our name. Thankfully no mix up with our order. They clean off the tables so no need to take your trays/trash to a trash can.

Smash burger with cheese and grilled onions and side of fries!

My son and I went here last week. Has not been open that long. We loved it! The burgers were really good and you have to try their fries!! This has not been a good location for restaurants, but they seem to be drawing a crowd each day. We will definitely be back.

    Counter service, very clean inside.

This is a brand new restaurant in Harrisburg. The food is just absolutely fresh and delicious. The burgers are very carefully done and tasty, grilled smashburger style. The french fries are excellent, fresh cut and fried just perfectly. The inside is clean and cute... pretty decent seating, with eight tables. It's just a couple weeks old but there was a steady crowd while I was here on Sunday afternoon. The person who greeted me was extremely polite professional. You order at counter and then you can take your food to a table. It's just a short drive from Grove City. Pretty simple menu hamburgers hot tubs tons of different toppings. If I were making suggestions I would suggest two things: 1) I would add an egg as an optional toppong and 2) I would have fountain drinks instead of can sodas, and if you were sticking with canned sodas $2 is a little bit pricey. The good news is there's water for $1.

She took the time to walk us through the menu and even shared how she cashed in her retirement to follow her dream of owning this place. You can tell her heart is in every bite. The menu covers all the good stuff--burgers, fried bologna, chicken tenders--but as the name suggests, the real stars are the loaded hot dogs. They start with a big locally sourced 6-to-1 all-beef dog and then pile on some wild toppings. I went with the Mactastic Dog--two strips of grilled bacon, creamy housemade mac & cheese, and a drizzle of sweet and tangy BBQ sauce, all on a perfectly steamed bun. Absolute perfection. I also couldn't resist trying the Bologna Coney, which was a thick grilled slice of bologna (cut in half) topped with Debbie's "almost famous" homemade coney sauce, a hit of stadium mustard, diced onions, and a generous handful of shredded cheese. I made it a combo with fries and a drink, and it did not disappoint. My wife ordered the Slaw Dog and loved every bite. As a former chef, I've got a soft spot for simple food done right--and that's exactly what Crazy Dog Grill delivers. The place itself has a fun, casual vibe with tables on two levels and some great classic rock playing in the background. If you're anywhere near Chillicothe, run, don't walk to Crazy Dog Grill. Ask for Debbie's "almost famous" coney sauce (I'm trying to make it officially famous!), and if you're a mac and cheese lover--trust me--get the Mactastic Dog. You'll thank me later. Tell Debbie Brian and Candi said hello!!

The sign caught my wife's eye and since we were hungry, it was kind of perfect. Our kids had never been here before and it was a good opportunity to expose them to a great late-night diner with plenty of vegetarian options (our favorite thing about this place) downtown. We each ordered a veggie dog in a different style and we grabbed some sides as well - totchos, fries, and pretzel bites! The kids loved their sides. We are still opening their eyes to different types of foods, so it was a stretch for them to order a veggie dog at a restaurant that had unique toppings! Next time, we'll have them get charred and not steamed. I thought steamed would be the way to go, but I forgot my oldest has become accustomed to veggie dogs on the grill during marching band season. I tried the veggie brat out of curiosity. I could honestly take it or leave it over a charred veggie dog. I like both about equally. Overall, great experience. Our server was great, friendly, and accommmodating, and our food tasted great! I hope we can talk the kids into coming again to try a different combination. It's such a fun place that fits our family vibe.

I guess the kitchen portion is newer, so although my friends had been here before it was strictly to drink, so the food was a new experience for them as well. We each got something different to try. I had the spicy chicken sandwich which honestly is one of the best ones I've ever had. The onion strings for an appetizer were perfect. Great and crunchy! The space is great too. The first side when you walk in is a bit busier as that's where a majority of folks were for karaoke that night. We opted to sit on the other side of the wall dividing the bar where it was a bit quieter. It's nice to be able to choose the sort of environment you want to be in here. As for service: also excellent. Our primary server was attentive and asked a few questions to make sure she didn't miss anything about sides or toppings on the food. When she clocked out, another server took over and it was seamless. My one friend liked our dinner so much, he came back for lunch the next day! Highly recommend.

Base layer: crispy golden tater tots Perfectly seasoned Philly cheesesteak beef Mushrooms, onions, peppers Ghost pepper cheese bringing the heat Friends... this was a LOT of food. Like, "better have your morning cleared" kind of food. As a Philly cheesesteak fan, this hit me right in the taste buds. And with the EMS station right across the street, I felt comforted knowing my #CardiacCare plan was already in place. Yes, it was a little salty -- but hey, it's pub food. That's like complaining your milkshake is too sweet. #Hypertension Verdict: Awesome food, hearty portions, and a hometown vibe that makes you want to linger.
