John Cloud diagnosed a failed memory stick (oh no! they cost so much now!). I supplied an "extra" memory stick from one of the other computers at our church and John continued the repair diagnosing and fixing some particularly nasty software errors that had resulted from the initial hardware failure. All of our installed software now works reliably again! Great job! The machine was back in service on March 5 for a very reasonable repair cost! I could not use it because of continuous, invasive messages about viruses on my computer and the need to purchase antivirus software. I came to Frankenstein. The technician spent three minutes or so eliminating the blockage and arranging my settings to reduce chances that I will connect with similar bad actors in the future.
