The customer service here is Horrible! I placed an online order that was never completed. I had to email asking about the status of my order in which they stated was ready and had been ready for over a week. I never received an email or call that my order was ready. Picked up the order just to see that my order was NOT complete. It's like they just grabbed two shirts to give me because they dropped the ball. I went into the store to ask for a refund or store credit as our baseball season is almost over. We have four games left and the Manager, Maya who never came to talk to me Refused any sort of refund or store credit. Unbelievable!!! She never came out to talk to me to come up with a resolution. Nothing! She wanted nothing to do with me or what I had to say. She had the cashier deal with me, who but the way was nice. That's the only reason I'm giving them one star, because he was very patient and nice. I even think he knew the situation was not fair. The guy could not find any email that was ever sent to me about my order. No proof of emailing me. Probably because my order was never done. Bottom line this was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I'm all about supporting small businesses but I left very disappointed in this place. Don't WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE where they value customer service. read more

BAD. Only if there were a Zero Star option. I took an item for an embroidery job. The rep that took in the item spoke with me about the design I wanted. The rep and I discussed the design in detail, I used the actual item to confirm location and orientation of the design. Was advised that they'll have a "proof" ready & sent over via email by the end of that week (it was a Tuesday). After almost 3 weeks of waiting and repeated assurances from them that it's being worked on, I finally get a proof, this is after I physically visited the shop in person for an update. The proof was COMPLETELY WRONG and incorrect. The design was not at all what was discussed and there were spelling and grammatical errors. At this point I decided to just pick it back up and take it somewhere else. To make matters worse, when I went in and asked for it back. They offered no explanation or solution or even a tiny little apology. Maybe you had a good experience there, this one is my first and only one with them. I won't have anymore work done by them. They are physically close to us. We only needed two shirts embroidered (about 4" x 6"). We needed them quickly as work shirts for a job the following weekend. They messed up the shirt. They didn't send a proof first. Afterwards, we weren't contacted about the next step. We have 4 more jobs coming up. We have no work shirts. We definitely should have gone somewhere else. We will go somewhere else for all future jobs. I suggest you avoid the headaches and go somewhere else too! read more

they did not get my order correct after three times.. the second time I went In, there were several dogs inside barking... one of the employees was hitting one rather hard in the face! I asked them to stop hitting the dog... they then asked if I want to see all the puppies, as they knew I was upset the way they hit the older dog. I said no, as they are obviously a shady breeder for what appears golden-doodles ... this whole place felt wrong and shady to me. after the third time of coming back to finally getting the correct order; I decided I won't be back but I do worry about the dogs inside and the abuse to the dogs. read more

Put an online order in for a sticker. Was notified it was ready, came to pick up and it was the wrong one. Was told numerous times "tomorrow.. tomorrow.." We came in numerous tomorrow's and it was never ready. Finally came back a week later to request a refund and it was ready. Sticker looks great but way too much effort to obtain! It sounds like this happens a lot as it sounded like the employees were dealing with quite a few frustrated customers. If you need something in a hurry don't bother. It won't happen. read more

Got some business cards made a little back & for one the quality wasn't good what so ever. Very disappointed. I simply wanted just an exact copy of my business card & I got the knock off version which weren't even laminated.. From the color to the change in fonts & all.. To make matters worse they misspelled my Instagram handle & I only really noticed a week or two ago... Keep in mind I've probably handed out hundreds of these cards already & I bought 1.5K... Even if they wanted to replace them I wouldn't take them because of the quality alone. Lastly they didn't even reach out to me letting me know they were finished, it took me calling to check on them for them to finally tell me they've had them there for some time. I will not be going here for my business anymore. I suggest going to Minuteman Press off Whitestone! They made an exact copy of my card & the quality is just as good as my original. read more

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE A DEADLINE. NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY. As a business owner myself, customer service is the key for a successful business, however this business failed. I had a deadline to meet before a large expo event. Deadline missed (I even gave them a week) They said they would keep me in the loop (not one phone call from them), didn't happen. On a Friday I brought in 3 polo shirts to have our Company logo embroidered on them (which we bought at another store), they took the order. I explained what it was for and that I needed them by the following Friday for an Expo event on Sunday. They said not a problem and will get it done before then and they will call me as soon as they are done. Come Friday no call, so I called them. They said on the phone that they are almost done, and I can stop by and pick it up. Well I arrived and they didn't even start. The owner then came up to me and showed me a sample, I advised her that the color didn't match and to use a bit darker, then she asked me to wait while it's completed. No worries I waited 20 minutes, then said her employee was having a issue with the Machine, and promised me they will have them completed by tomorrow (Saturday). I then called their store Saturday 10:45am, spoke to them and said they will call me back as soon as it's done. No call back and now going on 1:00pm. I called back again and left a voicemail to call me back ASAP. No call back Saturday and Sunday they are closed. No company shirts during our expo and very very disappointed with the service and zero communication on their part. I'm assuming the customers are not valued enough to even get a call back to apologize. I've done business with them in the past, however never again because it would be hard to trust this business again after what they did to me and my business this time around. read more

I have done business with this shop many times over the past. I was placing a repeat order on some signs that were needed for a large state conference next week. In the beginning, I got return emails but once I submitted the design/order, I got no reply. No confirmation of the ability to complete the work, no proof, nothing and because this was extremely important and necessary, I took the business elsewhere. I do not know what changed but communication is key and timelines in business are sometimes critical. read more

I am still waiting for my Sign project to be completed. They were paid in full for project in September or October of 2016 and it is now March 30, 2016. There has been NO communication on their part at all. I may or may not receive communication when I contact them. The products that they have installed have been good products, but their service and completion times leave me in a huge bind. My Store has been open since December without a sign at all. I hope that they see this post and take action, next step is an Attorney. I can not in good judgement recommend their services and will not be giving them future business. I had been using Effective Sign Solutions for the last 2 years for my business. This last time I used them for a vehicle wrap, and it was the last straw for me!! 1.) I was quoted between $2200 to $2500 for the wrap I showed them, they gave me a bill over $2500 2.) I was quoted 2-3 days to have my van back, it took a total of 18days over two different visits (first time was 10days and second time was 8days) After getting the van back the second time, the wrap still wasn't very good, so I told the owner that I still wasn't happy with the job I recieved, and she told me she could try to fix it again for the third time or give me a discount. I choose the discount (which only brought the price back down to $2500) because I was afraid she was going to take my van off the road for longer then she had said. I am a owner/operator with 1 van on the road, I can't support my family if my van is not on the road working. After using this company for 2 years I would have thought that things would not turn out like this, the sad thing is, the owner never once apologized for the bad quality of work that I recieved, she would just look at me like I was crazy. I will NEVER give her my business again and would never refer another person to use her. read more

This time, she messed up one of our $40 shirts by overlapping print and then blamed the shirt, saying it was "irregular". Never even as much as an apology and no discount. If what you are looking for is bad attitude and poor customer service, you can definitely find both at Effective Sign Solutions. It all starts great, competitive prices, ok quality products, decent customer service, promise of fast delivery. We got... Business cards: fast delivery, ok quality T-shirts: fast delivery, wrong product - they were supposed to be tag-less but when we brought it up, the answer was "I don't remember you asking for that". Tailgate sign: they took forever to show design and when they finally did, it looked like something a middle school kid could do in a intro to design class. So, after many revisions (and many frustrated looks coming our way from Zira) we agreed on a design. We leave the tailgate for the sign to be placed and, when we pick it up, we see that the paint had been chipped when they inefficiently removed the letters. A decent business would have offered some sort of remedy for a damage they caused, not this business, they asked for full payment. Needless to say, we will never be doing business with them again. read more

What an amazing team ! We have used them twice and can highly recommend them. They are creative, easy to work with and so fair in the price !!!!! First we needed our shirts embroidered and they did a perfect job ! They matched exactly the letter type and everything we requested, nice and clean. We were very happy with the results, so we came back a month later when we had an emergency. We needed 15 signs that needed to be creative for a huge trade show...we had only 24 hours to get this done. Effective may only be "effective"for larger customers, little jobs are not in there wheelhouse. My last two experiences were terrible. I had two special shirts ordered with multi-color logos. I was told it was a special heat process. That order took many weeks and they over cooked the shirts. There were small color blotches and a definitive iron area. They kindly did not charge but I can't wear them anyway. So, gave them a second chance when my wife got teacher of the year. Ordered a special embroidered pullover with her name (on the right). That was back around late March/early April. It wasn't done until May and when I got it they had embroidered her name with the letters "on the right" also seen on the pullover! Really!?!?! Said they would fix it. Got a call to pick it up this week, it's still not done. The ceremony was May 6th...it's July 18th. So we're on month 3 and no pullover. I think Effective Sign Solution should stick to T-shirts and hats, stay away from irons, sewing and small jobs. read more

We took two emergency vehicles to get done here with vinyl lettering. The turnaround time and installation was great. The staff here assisted us with questions about the application, installation, and overall care of the vinyl. We will be getting the rest of our vehicles done here in the future. read more

After reviewing the previous negative post, I was inspired to personally write about my experience with Zira and her team. I feel as a person with 25 plus years of experience in the sign and printing industry. I could not disagree more with the other negative post six days ago. Zira and her team are simply some of the best in the industry. She is willing to provide outstanding service fraction of the cost of other companies. Her design work is excellent and I can't believe she charges so little for creative side. I order product from her almost weekly, She meets or exceeds my expectations every time. All I can say for others who feel as they did not get the same level of service, is expectations are hard to meet when you are not open to hearing about the limitations and expert knowledge of people in the industry. It is like going to your hairdresser sitting down telling her or him and saying I am sure I know what I want but I am sure I will be happy with what will do. Then after saying you are upset the way it looks and you got a bad haircut and service.Yet you never gave your vision or expectations. I leave you all with this, This team is simply the best both in business and in the community. They embrace homeless dogs as fosters, Sponsor local community events to allows others to have a very professional look and feel. Importantly They are good people with heart and honesty a rarity in business today. read more

Zira doesn't know how to run a business. She spent months giving me the run around on a small order. Every time i called her i got a different excuse or told she didn't know what the holdup was and she would find out and call me back. She never once called me back. I was told multiple times she had the prints but just needed to find them in her office or her employee's car and that she would call me back when she found them, she never called me back. She even sent me a text message assuming the number i gave her was a cell phone because she didn't have the nerve to call me and tell me she didn't have the prints. This went on for MONTHS! after 3 months i gave up on her because she is so flakey. She only seems to care about large expensive orders. There are plenty of other print shops in the area who are more than willing to take your order and actually print it within a few days. She never repsonded to emails, never responded to voice mails, and everytime she actually answered the phone when i called, she gave me a different excuse and said she would call me back but never did. read more
