Instead of bleaching, she explained that bleaching at all would damage it (obviously) but she explained it like it would ruin it curly or straight but she had bleached hair too? I tried to do my undercut instead because I could just shave it, but she still refused, I'm guessing cause she didn't know how to do my hair. She offered me a moisturizing treatment because my hair was dry, (mind you because I didn't wash my hair for the upcoming bleaching) and then to shave my undercut? I ended up bleaching hair at home (2 round) and got to my desired level and dyed it at home and my curls were fine but not ruined like she explained it.

After that the hairstylist began to cut my hair. She at least cut 4 to 5 inches off which left my hair choppy short and uneven. Also that haircut only took about three total minutes which is very weird. I do not personally recommend coming here if you were looking For detail and a good quality haircut. I thought the hairstylist was certified and went to school to specialize in cosmetology. But after my horrendous haircut, I don't think she went to school at all. The manager was helpful in pointing out long-lasting liquid lipstick options and she encouraged me to browse and try the products. I appreciated that she knew what the top-rated products were (I had also done research before stopping in) and she offered several options instead of pushing a particular brand. The highlight of my visit was when Danielle found me trying foundation colors on my own and offered to help me find my color. I told her I had tried several foundation products in the past (Mac, Smashbox, Loréal) and I wanted something that was long-lasting with medium coverage but didn't leave my face dry or oily. She recommended Urban Decay's All Nighter Liquid Foundation and so far I'm really pleased with how natural it looks. Danielle provided excellent customer service in helping me select a new foundation brush - the IT Airbrush OMG! Foundation brush (#106) is amazing! Also, the IT Brush Bath is definitely worth the $18. The Purifying Brush Cleanser is alcohol-free and smells amazing (lavender oil + lemon and orange extract).
