OK another great day at CTI. This time it was spa services. Everything is so clean and well appointed. Started with a mani/pedi with JOJO. She is so good! She pays attention to detail, nice conversationist, great colors to choose from not to mention my hands and feet look & feel amazing. Plus it was no more expensive then the small walk-in places. Then it was off for a massage. It is the 3rd massage I have had with Sam. She starts out slow to put you in the zone. She softly asks if the pressure is ok. Then she moves on the the knots and tension. She now knows what I need and focus's on those areas. The soreness is gone and I feel so relaxed. Thank you both JOJO and Sam for a great day! read more

This salon is great...for the most part. I think that the service here is amazing but I have one complaint that I see as a huge issue. A while ago I went to get my hair cut and colored. I had a really sweet stylist with me that day named Kameron that seemed like he knew what he was doing. We had a really cool idea for my hair. For some background, I have the bottom of my head shaved. It's been this way for awhile now. Me and my stylist planned to give me a shaggy look. But a guy named Joseph came over and told me that the hair style we were planning wouldn't work. Since apparently I didn't have a "basement" He was referring to my undercut. He continued to degrade my hair and tell me horrible things about it. I am already someone who deals with low self esteem. and I don't think that any customer should come in and obtain new insecurities. After he walked away Kameron saved the day with his spectacular styling skills. He made me look absolutely phenomenal. He was able to obtain the style We we're aiming for initially. Afterwards I felt amazing but, there was still an itch in my brain over what Joseph said that ended up being totally wrong. Nothing against the company or salon. I just think that the way Joseph acted was completely immature and unprofessional. Personally from a business standpoint someone like him shouldn't be working at a salon. read more

Before moving to KY, CTI was the only place I would go to get my haircut. I have been a satisfied customer of CTI for years and years and years and have utilized almost all of their services. My last stop here was on a visit back to WI because I wanted to chop my hair really short and I have not yet found someone I trust in Louisville to do it. I got a cut and style as well as getting my eyebrows under control and left very satisfied. The prices are a little high but the quality and service are worth it. read more

This place is generally fairly priced, and you'll likely get a good cut no matter what stylist you get. Some stylists are way better than others though, but since I've been spending most of my time in the Chicago area, I'm not sure who still works there. Since this is small-town Wisconsin, the stylists are going to be better with conservative cuts and colors, but if you live there, that's probably the vibe you're going for. I'd especially recommend their up-dos. I had three or four done there for various high school dances, and even though my hair was only a bit beyond chin length, they were able to style it in amazingly creative ways. Definitely much more than I could've done on my own. Once, when I accidentally dyed my hair bright red (long story), they kindly helped me fix it, even though it took over two hours. While I paid more than I would've liked, I was glad that they didn't give me too much crap about it, and made sure I was happy with the fixes. read more

Got my hair done here for graduation and wasn't very impressed. Yes was very clean and yes the staff was nice but they didn't do what I asked and it looked bad. I had told the lady that curls in my hair have a high chance of falling out especially with it being hot out. Well long story short my hair looked like shit. read more

On a recent visit to Appleton I called Salon CTI for a same day appointment. They were able to fit me in at my preferred time which was a great start. My stylist Mackenzie was a delight -- poised, gracious, and sweetly professional. She shaped up a bad grow out and suggested just the right product to keep it looking fine, all at a fair price for the quality of service. DON'T buy a gift card to this place. My mother purchased a gift card for me and I haven't had time to use it. After a year they subtract money from it. Each month $2 comes off it. So since it has been over 3 1/2 years, my 100 gift from my mom is now worth less than a measly 40 bucks. I am so sad. I would have gone there and just bought hair products. She got it for me to get massages and you can't book those online so I never had the time to go there. I thought it would be good and it appears that this owner thinks only of the bottom line. read more

Almost $200 spent just to leave crying...it only took 2 years to get my hair long what's another 2 years to get it back smh never again

I have long naturally curly hair, and have been searching for a good stylist for several years since my last favorite shop closed in Green Bay, WI. I need a stylist who is experienced with cutting hair dry, and cutting naturally curly hair. When I saw Josif Wittnik on Good Day Wisconsin (WLUK) say something about Salon CTI having stylists who do dry cuts, I was super excited. I called Salon CTI in the spring of 2018, asked the first person who answered the phone 'who can work with naturally curly hair and do dry cuts?' The woman recommended Dan. After my appt with Dan, I was so disappointed with how he cut my hair. He is the worse stylist I've ever met. He didn't do any texturizing, and he cut my hair crooked, so the right side was longer than the left side. I tried to work with it though, and thought he would correct it at my next appointment. Before my appt, I emailed the Salon CTI a diagram and photo of a bezel cut I wanted for my kind of hair and asked in the email for this to be given to Dan. I was hoping he would get a better idea of what I wanted for my hair. Boy! I was such a fool thinking that he would make it better the second time. He combed out my long naturally curly hair (again), cut it crooked again, and seemed not to comprehend a bezel cut. In fact, he said he doesn't get/check email at work and he showed his old Blackberry phone so I would see that he can't access the internet from his phone. As he was cutting my hair, I mentioned that I wanted fringed bangs, so he proceeded to comb my hair forward from the crown and started cutting bangs like he was giving me a monk bowl cut. I felt like grabbing his arm and stopping him right there and leaving the place. But, I decided to wait and see where he going with this, like maybe there's a reason or a style for this. I was wrong. When I went to the front desk to pay, my hair was flat on top and the rest of it was frizzed out since he combed it all out before the cut. Anyone who honestly knows naturally curly hair, knows not to do that. I went the restroom and dunked my hair under the running water to eliminate the frizz. I left Salon CTI feeling like a fool and humiliated. At home, I cut my own hair to straighten the crookedness, and am trying to grow out the monk style bangs. This was one of the worse experiences I've ever had in a salon. Now, five months later, I'm ready to try another stylist who I hope is a lot more honest about her skills and experience with dry cutting naturally curly hair. read more

CTI has the prices for a high end salon but the professionalism of a low end establishment. I went there for the first time and the stylist seemed very unsure of herself and took forever to mix the color. Turned out mediocre and was not worth what I paid. During my long wait I could hear two stylists gossiping and making fun of another client. I found it offensive and highly inappropriate. All I could think about was what they were going to say about me after I left. I will never go back and will make sure nobody else does either. Maybe they should spend their time upgrading their skills instead of downgrading their clients. I wish I knew the person they were talking about so I could inform them and discourage them from returning as well. Very rude and tacky! read more
