(Several of the received services were not qualified as precision cuts). Every time we'd walk in it was never a warm welcoming. It's as if they were bothered by our presence. Pretty insane treatment for a business. The last terrible experience was as of recently, bringing in my 9 year old son for a standard haircut, with the new guy. Immediately, upon meeting, you could smell the nicotine, as if an ashtray was coming from his mouth. It was so nauseating, I felt so bad for my son to endure that for an entire appointment. I explained to him what I wanted done with my son's hair and even showed him a picture. He said no problem and took him back to his chair. A little while later, I look up to see him, buzzing the crown of his head. Not at all what I asked for. I walked back to explain this calmly and he didn't take any accountability for it. I then noticed the hairline was incredibly high in the back which I too, explained to keep longer and square off. His response in a nutshell, He was right, I was wrong. I couldn't believe it. All the while the owner, Chrissy is working right next to him. She doesn't stop, nor step in to help, whatsoever. Remember, this is a new guy on his SECOND DAY. She just watches carelessly. The haircut was ridiculous and I expected a reduced amount, but nope $28 for a little boys botched haircut. This was the first time I didn't tip somebody for a service. I've noticed from the beginning that Chrissy, the owners bedside manners have always been unprofessional. It felt personal. Always wondering how she stayed busy if she treated all like that. Maybe it was just me? But after this appointment, her true colors were evident. I received a text two days later from Chrissy stating that we're not welcome back to her establishment. "Not a good fit", she says. Unbelievable. What kind of business shames the customer when a service isn't delivered? This speaks volumes of the true character behind this business and its operations, and I hope it helps any future considering customer. On a positive note, I'd like to add that Doug does a great job there. He's always listened and treated us well. If you're looking for a top-notch barber who goes out of her way to give you incredible service and is kind and professional, go see Abby at A+ Cuts. She never disappoints.

Her positivity elevates the entire experience from the start. You're going to feel cared for, by someone that you have just met for the first time. That continues throughout the time of your session Through conversation and interaction she is able to get an idea of what you want without having to actually show her a photograph. I had one I had intended to use an example, and she started so naturally that I completely forgot about it until she was already halfway through doing my hair. It only occurred to me when I looked up in the mirror and realized oh she is doing exactly what I had in mind! It is rare that I find someone that I could simply trust the process and let her actually create a design for me but I totally would after my first time in her chair and skilled hands I feel like I can trust she would make sure ANY style I left her presence in would be fit for a ball. She really is that good. Hours later, I keep forgetting my hair is even done, it is just that comfortable.

That is Nee! I have been meaning to write this review for a few years. I had my initial permanent makeup done on my top eyelid (eyeliner) and eyebrows in 2014 in San Francisco where I live. I have a disability with my arms so Iimit what they do for me. Makeup was first on the list. Over the years the eyeliner and parts of the eyebrow tattoo were starting to fade. I wanted a touchup. However, I didn't want it done in SF again, where there are tons of people, but not necessarily the depth of experience. When I was home visiting family and friends in WI I found Nee. She was trained young in China where these techniques are well known and practiced. I am so glad she moved to WI, married, started her family and brought her craft and professionalism with her. In 2022, I had my eyeliner redone and my eyebrows reformed and touched up. They look just as they did 3 years ago. Those who don't know about permanent makeup are surprised to hear that they're tattoos. Others that are in the know compliment me on her work. Thanks Nee!
