Tom was very accommodating, stated he can do small projects/fixes, and was able to come out same day after finishing another project. After assessing and providing a reasonable/competitive quote, he had to run out to Home Depot to get a part for my irrigation, but returned quickly and was able to repair our irrigation within 20-30 minutes. After that was fixed, I decided to ask him to take a look at my garden box irrigation. He found the culprit for why three of our garden boxes weren't getting sufficient water supply and remedied that as well. I'm actually going to have him come back in the Fall (once my tomato plants are harvested) to revamp my garden box irrigation since it was installed incorrectly by the previous owner. And as if I didn't take up enough of his time, I also asked him to take a look at some lighting fixtures in our backyard that my husband was having trouble with. Tom was incredibly nice and took a look at and tested the fixtures and wiring. He had another appointment to get too, but said he would come back later to replace a bulb and do more assessment on the power supply/wiring to the fixtures that were still having issues. I can't recommend SoCal irrigation enough. It says a lot that I'm going to be returning customer.

Joel came out to our property, listened to our requests and gave us a fair quote. Joel was friendly, professional and we felt that he is quite knowledgeable about tree trimming. All 3 trees were trimmed and the very large tree was beautifully "laced out" left with a nice shape. So, I reached out to Cintas for a quote and although higher that I was paying, it seemed fair if what he offered met our needs. Well, it has been 2 weeks and he is definitely worth every cent we pay. First, he addressed things that needed to be done to improve the landscape. Second, we will take other jobs (not maintenance) on as we can get to them. I would definitely recommend Cintas (Josh and son) as your landscaping go-to guys.

My wife found Cintas online and scheduled an appointment for them to come out and take a look. When Josh and his son, Jake came, we knew immediately it was the right choice. They're very friendly, funny, and most importantly, incredibly knowledgeable about their craft. They came for the first appointment this past week and our yard looks great already. They did a pretty comprehensive review of our sprinkler system and the different plants we have and made everything look clean and tidy, along with providing advice about how best to water our yard and what may look good in different open spots of our yard. We have a few bigger 'projects' planned for the future and I can't wait to see what comes from them. If you're looking for a good landscaper at a very fair price, stop looking. Cintas is the one.

Words cannot express how impressed my wife and I were with Majestic Hardscapes. But we'll try...and…read morethe photos should help provide some context. After becoming first-time homeowners last year, we quickly built a wish list and began prioritizing projects. Solar and pool repair were must haves with summer approaching, and next on the list was getting rid of a decomposing wooden outdoor staircase with ridiculously oversized and hazardous wood block steps. After consulting with Bryan, we immediately felt confident in his approach and began a fun collaboration to update our property. As the project got underway it became apparent that a simple replacement with a different material wasn't sufficient. No, we imagined something grander -- which kept evolving -- and resulted in what can only be described as a work of art on our property where dirt and rotting wood once stood. Bryan's crew -- Benancio and company -- are a world-class team of builders and problem solvers. To this day, my wife and I can't believe our good fortune that we had this crew all to ourselves for the roughly month of time that the grand staircase, hundreds of feet of new pathway, additional patio expansion with a new gate, and front courtyard gazebo garden took for them to complete. We miss them! We won't miss them for too long, though, as we 100% plan on booking Majestic Hardscapes again for ambitious future ideas we dream up here at home around the property. Thank you for your care and concern for our home, guys. You are truly masters of your craft!

Even though the quote was not the lowest, it was reasonably priced and they were the only contractors that answered a lot of my concerns. I had several quotes from numerous contractors and all; expect Majestic Hardscape, just give me a price. This was concerning to me because we live on a hill and the side of our yard slopes. Every contractor just suggested laying concrete to the way it slopes so water would run off the hill. Bryan was the only one who suggested that this will need further attention, such as a retaining wall in the future otherwise it will just get worse over time. They were able to level the concrete the way we wanted and recommended us to eventually level the rest of the yard in the future. They even went out of their way to take some of our old stacking bricks and used them as a temp retaining wall to aid the sloped yard. I highly recommend Bryan and his team and look forward to working with them again in the future, thanks again Bryan!

DO NOT USE Chris Bargain Lawn Care! During the week of 7/7, he mismanaged all aspects of our…read morelandscaping project, leading us to lose over $5,000 due to improper application of synthetic turf, failure to remove old turf and decomposed granite from our yard, putting a nail through our sprinkler line, and placing sticky sand all over our pavers requiring additional cleanup. Chris was informed about the removal of turf, roots, and DG four days prior to completion, but did not respond. I had over 100 text and phone calls with his subcontractor - Boots Construction, who was rarely present and did not address the issues. One time, he left to give a quote for another job instead of staying at our house. Chris guaranteed Boots would always be on site. I spent over 25 hours supervising and fixing problems with the entire project. Chris assured me of Boots' expertise, which proved false. Despite receiving payments, Boots has not paid his crew. Chris was sent numerous pictures and text, but did not resolve any of these problems. In fact, he stated he would be unable to provide any assistance or reimbursement of any kind.... Not even a penny. * Paver problems: Boots didn't take the right samples or measurements, so the pavers were mismatched and cut poorly. The sand was applied badly, and they didn't install root barriers as promised. * Fire pit and walkway issues: The fire pit area was uneven and needed to be redone. * Mulch mess: The crew piled mulch against the plants, even though they were told not to. We had to redo all the mulch installations around 150 plants. * Crew's behavior: The crew left trash all over our yard, including pizza boxes and water bottles we purchased for lunch. Chris stated on the 6th day our yard would be left in a pristine state and the opposite happened. They even left loose razor blades that were a hazard to our dogs! * Turf troubles: Turf and DG were removed with no disposal plan, leaving our gate unusable and driveway blocked until we paid 1-800-Got-Junk for removal. Chris did not respond when contacted. The turf showed visible nail spots, uneven seams, improper cuts, and house flashing and two sprinkler lines were damaged requiring another contractor for repairs. Boots used only a third of the specified infill amount. * Root removal problems: The roots weren't removed to the agreed depth, which could cause future issues. We had to buy materials to finish the root barrier installation. * Contract and payment concerns: Chris required a 25% upfront payment on 7/2, exceeding California's legal 10% downpayment limit, citing the need for pre-July 4th material purchases. However, receipts show no materials were bought until 7/11. Chris mismanaged the job and failed to respond to calls on Thursday and Friday. Despite our contract with him, he took no direct responsibility and communicated only about payments from Monday to Saturday. The subcontractor did not handle the turf professionally, contrary to Chris's assurances. Both Chris and Boots Construction are not licensed contractors according to the California State License Board. I would give a negative star rating if possible.
