I had a sprinkler, Zone 7 that was not turning on via the Controller. I thought it was the valve solenoid so I replaced the entire valve as well as the 3 other valves next to it because they were all old and I decided to bite the bullet. A VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER We called Andre of Brooks Irrigation to refurbish and repair our 45 year old sprinkler system and BOY did he do a great job. Andre does the work himself and that means you are getting his expertise. He really knows the irrigation business and it is amazing to watch how hard he works and how quickly he diagnoses each problem to fix your irrigation system to work properly. To add to that, he's a very nice person. It was so refreshing to hire a man, who keeps you informed of when he is coming to do the work. Then he shows up on time and keeps you informed as he quickly, systematically, and efficiently does the work. He is a very hard working man and once you see him work then you know you hired the right man. None of this slow motion work just to get more billable hours. He's just the opposite, a man who never works at less than full speed and he seems to know how to diagnose all the problems quickly. I couldn't believe how fast he did our work because we have an acre of landscape with 3 separate irrigation timers and about 20 separate irrigation lines. There must be well over 100 sprinkler heads on my property. He had only worked for us for half an hour, when I went into the house and told my wife, "This time we definitely hired the right man." In addition to the landscaping, we also have three atriums inside our house and Andre recommended and put in a new drip irrigation system in each atrium. It is now two weeks since Andre installed the new system and the new indoor plants are thriving probably because the coverage is so much better. Andre said the new system would be a major improvement over the old drip system and that has certainly proven to be true. After installing the new drip system, Andre ran and timed the system to determine how long we needed to water for optimal growing conditions. You also save time and money because Andre has most of the replacement parts on his truck and, after 45 years, we really needed a lot of new parts. Now we have a new modern system with better water coverage. I'm 84 years old and handicapped and the best part was I didn't have to do the work myself. I had expected to be charged considerably more than the very reasonable invoice we received from Brooks Irrigation. It is a nice feeling to pay less than you expected for work of the highest quality.
