Starting with the front office, Andrea was ALWAYS efficient and responsive with our phone communication and took time to provide follow up and detailed updates each time we spoke. Manager Craig was readily available to answer technical questions and explained the various options, cost for repair and best/worst scenarios. And then there is Conrad! Conrad, our technician was absolutely amazing! He is knowledgeable, professional, patient, personable and displayed exceptional work ethics. It took Conrad two visits to repair our elevator. One visit to patiently diagnose and one return visit to install the repaired software (which had to sent out to a third party). Our elevator was repaired within weeks when the installer couldn't diagnose the problem for months AND for a fraction of the cost of a new elevator, which was the solution that was offered by several other companies. All in all, a top notch trustworthy team focused on customer service, quality work that deserves your business

    Had same repeat problem month after month after month with our elevator which Vertical Transport…read moreinstalled. VT would come and fix (?) problem and charge a hefty fee each time. As it turns out VT could have just shown us a little switch or button which we easily could have done ourselves.. But they never did show how elevator wiring could be reset and how we could get elevator restarted. Instead the very large husband came each time and acted like it was a major repair and charged accordingly. Finally after years of being the bank for Vertical Transit I had it with them. I called a dream elevator repair and installation business which was Galaxy Elevators. They were competent and diagnosed the problem which was then easily fixed. It has been flawless with zero problems since Galaxy repaired our elevators years ago. Update: The answer to our complaint is UNTRUE! We never had a contract with them. My husband never praised VT. They absolutely did not ever try to contact us in anyway. They absolutely repeatedly overcharged us when all they had to do was flip one switch within 2 minutes. Ridiculous! If the problem reoccurred within a week, then they didn't charge us. Otherwise they charged full visit price The refrigerator did not have to be removed to fix it. Galaxy easily fixed it without moving refrigerator. Her husband was just too big to bend or to fit in space. Barbara doesn't know what she is talking about because she has never been here, seen the panel, or see how easily it was fixed. BTW, refrigerator was on wheels and I could easily move it myself. Claims that VTmoved it are false. When VT came out here it was an exorbitant cost, even if it only took 2 -5 minutes to switch the secret switch. If VT had been honest, they would have showed us where the switch was. When Barbara's husband was distracted by their extremely active son (whom he sometimes very unprofessionally brought on house calls), was running unmonitored thru-out our private home, he let down his guard and my caregiver saw what button he used to reset system. We reset ourselves after that. Dishonesty, exorbitant "repair costs" that never repaired anything and loose wild child are the reasons we never called VT again. We had no contract ever. It was just the guarantee after they first installed it. The need to reset after every loss of electricity was fixed for good when we discovered Galaxy. If we had found them earlier, we would have saved a great deal of money.

    Five star and beyond! I contacted Galaxy in need of service…read morefor our residential elevator. As it is with the other 20 other companies I called, appts were being scheduled weeks out. Nonetheless, I followed up w Tara and requested a call back. She got a message to the owner Chris, who called me right back and came by within the hour on a Friday afternoon! Chris immediately remembered that he was with the team that installed our elevator many years ago. He knew what he needed to do but since the model is obsolete, and the company had been sold, he would need to acquire a special tool to further diagnose the problem. He set out to acquire the tool immediately BUT unselfishly recommended two other companies that may be able to help us sooner. One of these companies actually ended up doing the repair, but through it all, Chris stayed in contact to make sure we were getting the proper service. Chris is the epitome of outstanding customer service and honesty. He has in-depth knowledge of the industry. He is personable , professional and genuinely cares! Unlike other companies, he didn't immediately try to sell us a new elevator. In fact, I offered and insisted multiple times on paying Chris for his service call and his assistance but he simply refused. This is a small growing business that understands that success hinges on honesty, customer service/relations and ethical business practices. Call them first for your elevator needs!     They TRAPPED me and my family in an elevator and one of their technicians tried to ASSAULT me in my…read morebuilding telling me to "F*** OFF"! after doing so. Total Access Elevator committed an OSHA violation because of their unprofessional and negligent conduct. They DID NOT inform our property manager that they were conducting an annual inspection and arrived without any notice to our management. And although they had 3 technicians on site, none cared to properly notify residents that maintenance was occurring at 8am when everyone is starting to go about their day. My partner and child were trapped inside for around 10mins taking her to school, even making her late. We were TERRIFIED inside as the elevator jerked up and down and the call / help buttons even told us to call our administrator (ie. property manager). We yelled out for HELP and didn't even know what floor we were on despite being on the top floor. Once we were out, I asked one of their technicians if they had notified management about the maintenance / repairs. They didn't. I asked if they even had communicated with the manager prior to their arrival. They Didn't. I asked why they hadn't let residents know about repairs prior to starting on them. They Didn't. As I was asking reasonable questions, one of their other technicians became aggressive telling me in front of my family that we "should be thankful that they let us out". They put us in this situation to begin with. Their technician then lunged at me to assault me, raising his fist and only because of his co-worker was he stopped, telling me to "F*** OFF!" in our place of residence. Of course, he escalated the situation. I reached out to their manager moments later only to be put on hold for 10mins and then told that the supervisor would return my call in 5-10 mins. An hour later I had to call them to demand to speak with the supervisor who then tried to place fault on me for raising my voice with his technicians. The lack of accountability and responsibility was egregious. Only after I called him out on this, did he mention he was going to write them up and never allow them back to our residence. He admitted that this was in fact a major annual inspection, but Total Access Elevator had not informed our building's management nor residents prior to repairs, putting our lives at risk. Later after I informed our manager that it was a major annual inspection, that same supervisor David attempted to mischaracterize the events of what happened telling our manager to the effect of that we had only been in there "30 seconds" and again reiterated that it was because of my raised voice that the incident escalated and his worker had de-escalated the situation. How attempting to assault resident in their building and screaming at them to "F*** Off!" is somehow de-escalation defies any sense of logic and is void of accountability. They are extremely unprofessional, aggressive, and don't communicate properly. If could give them a ZERO star I would.
