I would highly recommend B Audio Sounds. I will be sending my son to B Audio Sounds. His older Jeep has blown speakers. I have been customer of Lifesafer since 2014. I've been to every location. I am so grateful I found Ace at Bandera Rd. location. I came in for monthly calibration and there were breakfast tacos. Now that is a very respectable man. Ace buys for B Audio Sounds, and offered me tacos. He is very good at his job. I came in and he was pretty slammed with other clients. This was on a Tuesday. I highly recommend Ace at Lifesafer on Bandera Rd for servicing your breathilzer. I had problems with battery as well. He checked battery, and I needed fluid (distilled water) in it. I never knew battery had battery fluid. Ace went out of his way to help me diagnose my car. Others, like S. Brazos offered no help when my car was towed there from body shop. I didn't have good experience at Austin Highway location either. I highly recommend Ace as your calibration expert. Considering the volume of clients, Ace still does an amazing job. As for Erika and her review. I am here to say when you break law and court requirements are breathilzer, you have to comply. I see a bitter (???) whatever you are out to put negative remarks because you have nothing better to do. Enjoy your punishment for driving while intoxicated with breathalyzer. They are not responsible for your vehicle problems. I was very blessed Ace took his time and checked battery and that it needed fluid. This is not my first problem. I had to have breathilzer installed under dashboard due to car not sensing it was turned off. Disregard a bitter review from another horrible review. Ace and Mark V. are the best employees of Lifesafer. I highly recommend Ace as your breathalyzer and calibration technician.

At that point they charge you an extra $50 late fee, and there's really nothing you can do about it. You can email to dispute the charge, but you still have to pay the late fee at the time of calibration or they won't calibrate your car. If you call support, they're very limited in what they can do. They also claim there's no one else you can speak to beyond the first representative who answers the phone, even if there's a real issue that needs escalation. I might have let this go, but unfortunately this isn't the first time I've had a problem like this with this company. Be prepared to spend time on the phone and sending emails trying to resolve issues. Late fees seem to get assigned randomly, and disputing them is difficult at best. The whole process feels designed to make you give up on getting a refund when a charge isn't warranted.

I'm one pissed off customer and I think I should get some money back for how I have been treated!…read more From the very start of signing up with your company I was lied too. I was told that if I signed up then that I would get free installation and half off my first month, that never happened. The week after getting the device installed I was billed for it. It took me until some time last month to get some sort of resolution that I accepted. This was before everything that has gone on now. Your employees on the phone are rude, they lie, and no one ever does what they say they are going to do. Pull up my account and you'll see what I'm talking about. One of the girls that answers the phone there told me that they have never seen so many notes just on one customer. I made a mistake and I got a DUI, ever since then I quit drinking, I'm 492 days sober and I'm proud of that. My court paperwork says that I was only supposed to have the device in my car for one year. It was supposed to be completed by December 14th, but I got Covid and didn't get it installed until January 5th, 2022. I went in for my last download on January 5th, 2023 but your girl on the phone argued with me saying it was January 3rd. No, it wasn't I know because it was my wife's birthday and we had plans, so I had to run over and get my download and get back so I could make it to those plans. My point being is that it wasn't even one month from when I got my last download and you guys locked me out of my car. I have been stuck at my house since Friday February 3rd without my car to drive. I spoke with someone on the phone on the 3rd over it and she told me that I couldn't get an appointment that day that she would call me first thing Monday morning and either set me up for a download or to have the device taken out of my car, so I had to go the entire weekend without being able to use my car. Monday came and guess what? I never received a call so I called back and talked to Eric and he said he would call me back on Tuesday and he never did. I have called everyday since you locked me out with the exception of the weekend and I spoke with Eric again on Wednesday and he told me that I needed to go have my final download which I had already done on January 5th and I told him that again, then he told me that they were waiting to hear from the state that I had paid everything so they could set me up to have the device removed from my car. Well, that's a bunch of crap too because I talked to the state on Monday and they told me that they faxed it to you like they were told to do. I let him know what the state of TN told me and then he put me on hold for 45 minutes and when he got back to me he told me that he spoke with his supervisor and they would call me back on Wednesday, which they never did. I had originally spoken with Eric once before on January 27th asking how I can get this device removed from my car because it had been a year, he proceeded to tell me I needed a final download and I told him that I had already completed my last download and that I want to get it scheduled to get it removed. He told he would call me back the following Friday (the day you locked me out of my car) to give the state a week to get the papers to them. When I spoke with him yesterday he said he was contacting his supervisor and that I would be expedited that they would call me back that day and get this straightened out, and they never did. Each time I call I have to sit on hold anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour just to be treated like shit and lied too! Today is Thursday, I called this morning and asked to speak with a supervisor and was told there wasn't one in at the time and they transferred me to someone's voicemail so I left a message to contact me at 8:30 this morning and hear it is 6:00 Thursday evening and no one has contacted me. I have been patient and polite but after what your company has put me through this last week and still doing to me today that's out the window! I'm pissed, you've cost me money from not being able to drive to work and I still can't go anywhere. I'm going to post on as many review sites that I can find just how you've treated me and that your customer service be damned, you really need to train everyone all over again, because they don't do what they say they are going to do. I expect a resolution tomorrow or the next person you speak with will be my attorney! The last thing I want to say is that your technician in Nashville is a great guy and I never had any problems with him, in fact you should give him a raise because in my eyes he's the only person with your company that hasn't lied to me and treated me professionally! Sincerely, Charles "Tracey" West

It's not a crazy complicated car.  The right passenger speaker sounded awful, like it had been installed against the metal, but the rest were fine. I planned to take it back in, but after a trip a few days later, I noticed **neither of the passenger side doors had their lock cables attached**, which meant no one could open their doors from the inside. It could have killed someone if we'd been in an accident. I took it to the Fiesta location which is closer, told them both doors weren't attached. When I picked it up I noticed later they'd only done the back door, despite me explicitly saying multiple times and watching Geo write down that it was both doors. I had to take it back AGAIN to get it fixed. Later, after a 12 hour trip where we could barely listen to any music because the PS speaker was so bad, I took it in again and they said it was grounding out on the wires against the metal of the door. They installed some sound dampeners and said it was fixed, even though none of the other speakers needed it. It still didn't sound great, but it was better than it was. Then, to my ABSOLUTE MIND-BLOWING SURPRISE, when my passenger tried to get out a few days later, I found out they hadn't attached the handle AGAIN after they'd put in the dampeners. I brought it back and when it was ready for pick up Geo walked around testing the doors from the outside to show it was all fine. I leaned over and tested just the passenger door from the inside- the one I had told them was broken- and would you possibly believe it? It STILL HADN'T BEEN FIXED. He said repeatedly that he thought it was the back doors, which I had told him in person and on the phone that it was the door on the front passenger speaker that they had JUST worked on a few days ago. His installer came out and said he hadn't properly put it in the clip. For what, the fourth time?? Afterwards I asked Geo if they could refund some ($150) of the original $580 I'd spent on these four speakers because I'd spent dozens on Ubers and hours of time off work over the course of four months driving back and forth to pick up and drop off this car due to their incompetence. He told me and he'd have to talk to his boss to see if they'd "change all the rules for me to get a refund "because I'd had a "little problem" with them when they'd never done that for anyone else before. Are you serious? He also kept saying "Michael Dell brings all of this cars there", like that absolves them of the deficiencies that I've had to deal with every time I bring mine in. If Michael Dell brings his cars to one of the cheapest, worst rated audio shop in town then he's an idiot. Geo got ruder and ruder as I kept trying to explain how frustrating this situation was without accepting any responsibility for the waste of money and time this has caused and said that it seems like I was just there to start an argument. No dude, I just wanted my speakers replaced and to never, ever come here again. At this point, I've probably been back and forth to custom sounds ten times to have them fix issues that NEVER should have happened in the first place but at least should have been fixed ONCE by any member of this store using any reading comprehension or intelligence at all. Before I left Geo said they were the "top store in Austin" which blows my mind cause not a single one of the times I've been here have I experienced a single, minuscule shred of competency. A month after I left from the last door lock fix/sound dampener/whatever they did to this car, the speaker on that side now sounds ***even worse*** and ground out than it ever did during any of this fiasco. I'm going to have to find and pay another shop to fix it cause I'll be damned if I ever go back to this store. Avoid at all costs unless you're "Michael Dell".
