I wanted to update my review as MD Automotive has now become my go-to spot for vehicle services. I…read morehave now come here for two oil changes and two vehicle inspections and felt very positively about the service I received here, especially since I am not knowledgeable about cars, don't have the tools necessary to work on my own car, and do not have a garage. This also means a lot being a young woman and first time car owner. Every time I've been here, I walked in and the service that I wanted was done within 30 minutes. They have a comfortable waiting room with waters, coffee, armchairs, etc. They also updated me about the state of my vehicle and performed extra services as needed, for instance they filled my tires with air and refilled my windshield wiper fluid (without me asking) and free of charge! MD Automotive goes the extra mile to make sure I can keep on rocking and rolling, and as a relative newbie to Houston and vehicle ownership, they really make me feel like my car is being well taken care of. I cannot speak on the quality of their repair services which I noticed make up most of their poor reviews, but for oil changes and regular service, I will definitely be coming back here!

They SCAMMED $600 dollars for 4 TPMS. My sister came here because ONE TPSM ran out of battery, they…read morereplaced all four and charged nearly 600. The young girl didn't know better, I'm sure they could've figured out which one is dead (separate $140 diagnostic fee by the way, so that's another scam too!!) but decided to cash in on a gullible customer. Dishonest and overpriced. Stories like this is a dime a dozen but let it be known this shop is just another predatory one.

I took my car into Discount Tire and I was told that all 3 tires were in fact not new and actually had less than half of its lifespan remaining after only driving for a weeks. They only take cash which should have been my first red flag. Please take it from someone who never leaves a review, I am absolutely disgusted with the lack of integrity.

I had been curious about this auto shop for a while now because I live so close by so that's why I…read morewent. I came in and asked for my signal light to be replaced as well as my oil and filter changed. I was told it would be ready the next day since I came in around lunch time. I brought the supplies required but I brought the wrong bulb so they used their own which is fine. I just don't know in what world it is okay to charge 79$ for a signal light replacement EVEN IF they used their own light. I bought the wrong one but they're not selling bulbs for more than 10$ at the auto store. As for the oil and oil filter I do understand I have a diesel so I'm always charged more but 99$ feels like a lot especially since I brought my own things. Everyone I told about these prices said they said it was overpriced. I don't really know much about cars or what things cost in this area which is why I was asking all my friends but I'm not coming back because I feel like it was pretty pricey and this was with a 20$ discount from the mailer.. I'm kinda disappointed because I really wanted to support a small business but never mind. They did get the work done and were very nice so this is why I gave 4 stars. Pricing is really personal so I'm just sharing my experience so you can make decisions best for yourself!

Got a partial wrap and new wheels and tires here. The wrap turned out great but took 6 weeks with…read morealmost zero communication. The wheels look good but the tires I was given were cheap with no warranty, I barely drove off the side of a curb and it popped instantly. Had to buy 2 new tires because of no warranty. Little parts of the bottom of the wrap are coming undone and the lug nuts were way too tightened and over torqued where I couldn't take them off with my stock wrench that comes with the car, I broke 5 wrenches and a breaker bar to try to get it off ended up finally getting them off with a metal bar but if done properly I should have easily been able to take it off with my stock stuff that came with the car. Overall if your willing to wait and pay extra for mediocre work then come here.
