Had a slight fender bender that required the hood and bumper to be replaced/repaired which EVS also handled (other location dedicated to paint and body work) which did a great job. Insurance didn't want to cover my original PPF and ceramic work done at another shop but Ted (owner) was willing to help a brother out and get PPF rewrapped & recoated at the original EVS motor performance shop on Bellaire. Dropped car off 3 weeks after repairs(have to wait for paint to cure) to get it wrapped and coated and it was ready the very next day. Once the solution dried up, the PPF was on solid with no bubbles/peeled edges and looks great with the ceramic coating. Have since changed auto insurance providers and made sure there was a policy to cover aftermarket costs such as my PPF if anything were to happen again and will bring it back to EVS If needed. I came in to EVS Motors to get the new DiMisa tips installed on my BMW E92 that they ordered for me. EVS did an excellent job on the install, my Stella came out looking totally sheik. They also kept to the time frame they initially told me, I don't know about anyone else but I really hate waiting around and then having work end up taking a lot longer then you thought it would. But that was not the case they told me to be back at a certain time and that's exactly when I went back to pick my car up and sure enough it was completed and ready to go. I am definitely not done customizing Stella. I won't be taking my car anywhere else because EVS is the quality service that I look for when it comes to taking care of my E92. read more

Before deciding to go with EVS motors for my tint, I spent a good 5-6 hours researching tints and the best place to get it done in Houston. There are certainly other places that you can get your car tinted for cheaper. However for a high quality, heat-rejecting tint done right, EVS is where you should go! We got huper optik on the sides/back and a solar adaptive film (darkens and increases its heat rejection with the heat intensity) on the windshield. As others have mentioned, the technicians' attention to detail is worth the price. The front office is very quick with communication and transparent with pricing. They left my car even better/cleaner than when I dropped it off! Definitely recommended. read more

EVS is a wonderful place to take your vehicle to get some work done. They are professional always in their dealings with me, very straightforward, and forthcoming with any issues that may arise. Their pricing is competitive with other places in the area, however, the service and overall experience here is just great. They have a wide selection of products, including some of the sickest wheels for sale or order I've ever seen. They stand behind their work and do a good job of getting stuff done on schedule and doing a great job at it. They are good at providing updates if any delays are to be expected, and quick to inform you of any issues that may occur and how to remedy those issues. I had my R8 GT here to get a dash cam installed. The car was older and sometimes they can be finicky. When pulling the panels for the car in order to wire the camera as I had requested, one of the panels chipped a little. Most shops would have just not said anything, as the panel was in an obscure area and truth be told I probably never would have noticed. But Cornelia called me instantly, explained what happened, apologized, and told me they had overnighted a new panel from Audi. This was the first car I had taken to them, and now every car I buy goes there for it's clear bra, camera, radar detector, and tint as soon as I take delivery. read more

This is Houston. Summers are hot. A friend recommended getting Huper Optik tinting, which blocks out not only light, but the stinking UV heat that renders your car a sweltering furnace every summer. So far both myself and my dad have gotten this pricey but SUPER WORTH IT service here and I plan to drag in my mom and sister's car as well. Turnaround is one day, service is friendly and professional, and I can not can not stress what a big difference this makes to your car. If you go in, they can show you the difference this makes (you stick your arm under a UV light and feel the difference as the tinting changes). Anyway, you can't go wrong here. You don't have to be a car fanatic to want to preserve your car seats and your skin, right? read more

Whenever a warning light comes on in my car, my initial reaction is "Yikes! Gotta call the dealership! (my default since my car is leased, some things are covered under the warranty)" Problems: dealership is 30 minutes away; it's difficult to get an appointment with a loaner car on a short notice; the process takes up an entire day since I would have to drop off my car, take the loaner, and basically be on call until my car is ready, and $$$$. So I decided to give EVS a try. It was a Saturday afternoon when I realized I had some time and decided to stop by. There was no wait. The technician took a look at my car while I lounged inside the trendy, spacious, air conditioned lobby. In less than 5 minutes, he diagnosed the problem and an order was placed to have someone deliver the much needed part. After about 30 minutes, the delivery came, and the technician immediately went and replaced the part and voila! Done! What a smooth transaction! No hassles, no wait, no bearing of the Houston heat. The best part is.. I didn't have to waste a hour driving to-from the dealership to drop off / pick up my car and pay $$$$$ for overpriced labor. Great job, EVS! read more

EVS did a great job, there are no imperfections and no bubbles. The tint looks absolutely fabulous and I have received many complimenets. I've been going back to EVS for new tire mounting. The most recent time had a few hiccups: one cracked TPMS sensor and a scratched wheel. They were straight forward with the damaged sensor and ordered me a new sensor. I didn't notice the wheel scratch until after I had left the shop. I came back and they reviewed the video. I expected them to just pay for the wheel to be refinished, but they went above and beyond and ordered me a completely new wheel! They installed the new TPMS sensor and mounted the new wheel at no charge. Definitely will be returning to EVS for future car needs. These guys are legit! read more

Got my tint done here last weekend. Great service and very friendly! Price and service was excellent! My tint came out flawless (there was some bubbles but that is normal! Although I am fairly well pleased with the tint job I would warn against their "loaner" car service, it ruined my entire experience at their shop. Turns out it isn't really a loaner you have to rent it and they reimburse you the expense. In my case I signed the rental agreement, drove away, and a few blocks later there was a *thud* followed by grinding noise. A rod connecting the rear wheel had basically broken off. I didn't hit anything, not even a pot hole. The leasing company filed a claim against my insurance and I am now liable for $500 deductible and my insurance company must pay $2600!!! Then, to top it all off, the repair shop charged my credit card the $500 deductible without even notifying me! After all the hassle and expense I ended up waiting in their showroom for 5 hours for my tint job to be done. If only I had not bothered with the "loaner". It's a shame really, I was wanting to bring my car back for some of the detailing services offered by Vive which operates out of the same shop. But I just don't have a good feeling about it any more. read more

I was recommend by a friend and had suspension done to my Lexus at EVS. Despite some scheduling hiccups, EVS did a great job. The staff is friendly and profession. A rental was provided for 30 dollars a day which is a very good deal. During my first appointment EVS was not able to get to my car since I was 2 hours late to my appointment. Got my car tinted here last week. I paid $299 to get my 4 door car tinted with Huper Optik Performa ceramic tint. So far everything looks good and no issues. The tint seems to help a lot with heat rejection. The quality of installation is good. If you are in a hurry or don't have time to make appointments, this is not the place for you. They generally require 3 hours to tint a complete vehicle and you will need to schedule an appointment or you can have your vehicle dropped off overnight. Price is reasonable for this quality of tint. I would come back to get my other cars tinted. read more
