I put my phone number in the web form and in less than 10 minutes I received a text asking more about my problem. It was a bit much to type on my phone but also easier than having to leave my desk for a personal call. An appointment was made for 2:30 the next day. Day of: I got a phone call at 10:30 saying the tech could come out early. Hooray! He was coming to my office so I'd be here all day but I was anxious to get my iPad fixed. John Smith showed up in a wrapped SmartCar. He was friendly and showed me everything he was doing to my precious iPad as he poked and prodded it's guts. He replaced my glass and wifi antenna with no problem. It was a good thing he came early. If the original appointment time of 2:30 had been kept I would have had an issue. When John was all done he told me to put my iPad face down on a flat surface and put 5 lbs of books on top of it for 4 hours. They should mention the extra time before making the appointment, as I was getting this fixed at work I would not have had the full 4 hours of weight on it. That is my only complaint, and it's barely a complaint. I would definitely recommend these guys if you have broken something. I think it's awesome that they will come to you, whether at home, work, or a public location like a coffee shop -- made it super easy and convenient for my schedule. I had my tech guy Seth meet me at my work. He called ahead of time to let me know when he would be there, and when he arrived he got straight to work. I broke my iPhone 5s screen a week ago. I thought I could live with it, but yesterday one of the shards hurt my finger and I went ahead and contacted iCracked. Pete Blazek contacted me promptly and fixed my phone this afternoon. He was very friendly and professional. He completed the work within 20 minutes. The screen quality is comparable to the original. The feel too is similar (I requested Pete to peel off the screen protector right away as it looked weird and sparkly). I just feel that the screen has a bluish tinge compared to the original but it is no deal breaker. I did have one question regarding the policy with the broken screen. I was thinking I could have that as a backup for the camera and earpiece but I noticed later that it was taken by the iTech. If that was a policy, it would have been nicer had I been informed. Great experience! I had a cracked back glass and poor battery life in my iPhone 4S. I contacted iCracked who sent out a Smart Device tech, John Smith, to fix my phone.
