The mall has a lot of changes, pre pandemic the indoor ice rink in the mall open with promotion free ice skating- and if you were a spectator you can ooo and ahhh at the pet store with the puppies in the window. Just fyi that pet store is gone now. I've dont some uber ests pick up coincidentally in the mall, there hadn't been a food place I quite enjoyed for quality or hidden gem and the markings on the floor for social distancing are Soooooo confusing. The mall has a few entrances, you can enter from the main entrance where the Osmows and east side Mario is. My favourite less crowded entrance is the back where the new bowling alley is, the entrance has enough parking you can turn in from Conestoga Blvd and you're there -plus the Zehrs is there the Starbucks inside (yay). There is some good outlet shopping here, theres a Marshall's and theres some others. I swear I bought the cutest cocktail champagne dress that was retail $200 for $20, so there are deals here. Now that the pandemic restrictions have been lifted there are return options where stores were pretty much forcing final sale. So if you're in the area or just need an indoor walking gym, this is the place. It feels empty but I feel my shopping is efficient, no lines up :)

I actually picked up a pair of Nike air for female fit because it was raved to be light weight and comfortable and it took impact load well. Just all around comfy walking shoes because I'm a regular runner and apparently the heel absorbed impact. I would say the shoes is enough of an up sale but it is light. There is no way shoes can absorb load that well, it's the foam structure and the hallow construct allows it. But true beliebers say it's a shock absorber, so keep on beliebing peeps. The selection is alright it's like any other outlet store. But it also shows you probably dont need to go to premium outlet mall for the deals, there are places with less line up and better parking.

I paid 80 bucks for a bag worth of clothing. Not too bad to pass the time huh? I stopped here on my way back to Toronto after a meeting. Staff were friendly. And pretty. Very pretty. There is no fitting room so you have to be sure of what you're buying. There is a mirror (yes, one mirror) close to the counter if you want to check if the clothes match your skin tone. The checkout has four tills and the checkout is loaded with junk, junk food and anything you really would have the option to avoid in a grocery store aisle IN YOU FACE. Not a fan of stores asking if I want a bag, it's illy because it makes me indecisive trying to remember if 1) do you charge bags? If you do I can manage without or 2) you don't charge bag and you missed out the opportunity for me to walk 5mins into the parking lot or 4hrs in the next store advertising for you. My answer was no, I really couldn't remember if they don't charge for bags.

WOMEN BEWARE - MISOGYNY IN THE AUTO CENTRE…read more This review is regarding my experience at the Auto Centre of this store. On April 11, 2026 I brought my vehicle in for a tire swap (winter tires to seasonal tires). A few minutes after my car was driven in, a young man came into the waiting room asking if I needed an alignment. I said I was unsure if I booked that service in the appointment, but if it was needed, they could proceed. The young man said he would wait until the technician completed the swap to see if the alignment was required. The young man later called me up to the service desk and said that I needed a new tire, he would order the tire, and we can set up an appointment to install it later in the week. Then he said that my lug nuts were missing and I would need to purchase new ones. I knew they were in the car as I verified this prior to bringing the car in. This brought me back to the appointment I had with this location in the fall of 2025, when they put my winter tires on. I was told my lug nuts were missing and I said I do not remove the lug nuts from my car and they must have been misplaced by the Auto Centre when I can in the spring of 2025 for my previous tire swap. They said they would replace the lug nuts, but then was told I needed some other service that "they recommend to everyone". I agreed to their recommendation. I now realized they recommended the other service to cover the cost of the replacement lug nuts they lost. I told the young man to cancel the tire order, put whatever tires they needed to back on my car, so I could leave. I told the young man that I didn't believe a word he was telling me. Then a woman appeared who said she overheard the conversation. I told her that I was only being treated like this because I am a woman, and the lug nuts were indeed in the car. She went to check this with the technician. In the meantime, I phoned my husband to ask him to come help me. Of course, my husband was told the truth as to what was happening with the lug nuts. They were not missing, but didn't fit. My husband told whomever he was dealing with that this was impossible as they were the same lug nuts they took off from my seasonal tires as they were not removed from the vehicle. The only answer my husband kept getting to any questions he asked was "I don't know". Ladies, avoid this location at all costs. They will lie to you about missing items in your car and try to upsell you on services you do not need.

Although…read morethe location on King Street has changed, the store is still called Kings Cross and a sign on the door says only that British foods and confectionaries are no longer sold. Looking in the door we could see clothing with logos of England, Wales etc., but the store was closed, so we returned on the next day it was open. But when we went in to purchase some of that clothing (for a Father's Day gift), we got an earful from the owner about how we must not be very regular customers, since the store hadn't sold such goods for three years and had to stop selling retail because customers have no loyalty. An odd thing to say to customers who took the time to find the store at its new location and travelled from out of town (twice!) to make a purchase as soon as in-person shopping was allowed. And, of course, recent visits haven't really been possible or prudent since retail stores have been for the most part closed and/or in-person shopping discouraged for nearly a year and a half now. It seems the store is now selling only wholesale which, given the owner's opinion of retail customers, is likely best for all concerned. If the owner doesn't want to be bothered by customers looking for the "old" Kings Cross, a change of name, or posting a sign letting everyone know that the retail store no longer exists (rather than just one saying that British food is no longer sold at the store) would probably help.

Everything was grouped together really well. All of the kitchen, general household, and bathroom cleaning supplies were all in one big aisle along the right wall. I was happy to see that they carry a limited selection of Scrub Daddy products. These were $4 each which is a little cheaper than what other stores are charging. When I went to checkout, the cashier was very pleasant. I was in and out of there within 5 minutes. While in Cambridge, I decided to search for a Giant Tiger close by. I found this one in the heart of downtown Cambridge. I decided to check it out. I did street parking. You can park for free for two hours between 9 am and 6 pm Monday through Saturday. I knew that all I wanted were avocados. I took a risk and parked at a fifteen-minute stand, which was steps away from Giant Tiger. Otherwise, there is a large parking lot across the street. I don't know whether you need to pay for parking over there, though. The downside to being in this area are panhandlers. One asked for spare change. I rarely have change on me these days. I asked him whether he would like an iced pistachio oat latte that I hadn't touched. He passed. Well, I tried. I walked into the store. You need to pull two door handles to get inside. I was immediately greeted with bins of pillows. The satin pillow with a piece of satin fabric sewn onto the pillow intrigued me. So, you don't put a pillow case on it and just throw it in the wash when it gets dirty? It seems weird. There was a female greeter sitting on a chair. We exchanged hellos. I don't normally look at clothing these days, but this store does have some nice, cheerful blouses. They looked nice and stopped me in my tracks. I found my avocados. Giant Tiger sells six of them for well under $3. I use them in my smoothies and mousses, and it's the best bang for your loonie. The grocery section was decent. I saw lots of produce and fruit. The baking items were well-stocked. I tried to tear myself away from the snacks. There are snacks in the grocery area and by the cashout area. Deadly! This store has humungous plushies. The penguin and octopus ones made me think that perhaps I could have them ride in my car and use the HOV lane. I needed AA batteries. My work laptop's trackpad decided to die for a bit on Friday. My authoring application requires a left-click, hold, and drag of a file from one window to another. I know, complicated, right? It wouldn't work! I hauled out my cordless mouse that I haven't used in a year and the AA battery died. My Roku remote also takes AA batteries and that died, too. Just my luck! Anyway, this Giant Tiger had an economy pack of Energizer AA batteries. Without any thought, I picked one up. There were two cashiers staffed. I got a friendly young woman. She asked me if I needed a bag. I declined. I was parked so close and only had two items that I didn't need one. I paid with a debit card. Easy peasy. I thanked her and left with my purchases. It's a decent Giant Tiger store that spruces up the downtown area. If you live downtown, it's great to pick up groceries and get your shopping fix on. I'd come back again. Just beware of panhandlers.
