Bought a car from Shawn back in March of 2024. Since then the car overheated in May. Brought it to them and they didn't care. Put the car up on a lift and it was leaking from the oil cooler/lines, leaking oil from a hole in the oil pan and leaking tranny fluid from the trans pan. Oh and the whole underneath is rotted and rusted. Shawn told me he knew my dad and he'd "take care of me". Not to mention the handful of interior issues they swore they'd fix but never did. Left me out to dry after I took the car home. I was told that all the fluids would be topped off/checked. I was told the car would be inspected before I took it home... lies. All sorts of lies. I told him I didn't have a lot of money for a down payment. He had me drive over an hour to tell me that I needed $2000 down payment. My girlfriend was going to go-sign for me however the car was CRAP! I asked them not to run her credit because I didn't like the car. Absolutely slimy car salesman. ZERO STARS Purchased a car that had a whole laundry list of issues. They assured me that they would fix all the problems and wouldn't sell a lemon. After picking the car upon and finalizing everything the car still had a long list of issues (trunk doesn't open, backup camera doesn't work, no sound throughout entire car, navigation doesn't work, and so on). They had me drop it back off for almost TWO WEEKS and then said everything was all set. Drove all the way back out there to find out not a spec of work was done, car had just sat there. Now I couldn't get a hold of this guy Nick who runs the Revere location. Got all the excuses, he's on vacation, he's got family problems, he no longer works for the company, we closed that location (all in two weeks?!). Called their other location and got an extremely rude rep named Anthony. He said all he can do is drop it back off at his shop (which nothing will get done) or I return the car (now it's been close to two months). I told him how upset I was with his company and was escorted off the phone by him screaming and swearing at me and then he hung up. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Due to their extremely prolonged responses and turnaround time, I am stuck with a car that has a list of issues and will not pass inspection. Now im $13,000 in on a loan with a lemon that they had more then the 10 days and it was in the shop 3 times 2 which they had and one which they had me send to my mechanic who advised me this car is not safe and I am pregnant. Instead of abiding by the law and giving me my refund which I spoke to Consumer affairs and a lawyer who specializes in Lemon Law both stated i am protected and hes still not cooperating. I bought my Truck here in December Smartbuy my ass. From the day I bought it I had nothing but problems.Transmission mount paid them $100. And they fixed that but the connection to my starter been broke since 1 week after I bought my Truck , brought it back numerous times the 1st time they electrical taped the wires lasted 2 days, went back they zipped ties my wires also lasted 2 days went back again and they wedged pieces of wood to hold the connection lasted a week. BEYOND PISSED and ED THE OWNER NEVER RETURNS YOUR CALLS and promises to fix the problem but never came through told me he ordered my part from eBay over a month ago. I always dealt with Jay, Anthony and Chris that always listened and tried to help me with my situations and they were great but even their hands were tied they didn't even know how to answer me anymore. The biggest mistake I made was to buy a car from these con artists after I brought my car on 3/19/18 that came with a 30 and 90 days warranty. after not receivcing my warranty cards I asked them why they had a very simple answer for me they only send the paperwork for the warranty out on certain days of the month (other dealers same day) while waiting to get my 90 days warranty my transmission started whinning so I took the car back to them while I was still under the 30 days dealer warranty. They kept the car for about 3 days when I went to pick up the car they claim they could not find anything wrong with the transmission and claim they drove the car about a hour and found nothing wrong , they lied about driving the car that long (I wrote the mileage down when I dropped it off. After going back and forth with them over the warranty issue they sent it in and the company reject it. Quote letter-Known Mechanical Issue Prior to Contract Acceptance. Proof of repair is required. So now I have a car that whine and I don't dare take my foot off of the brake on a slight hill because the trans don't hold and the roll backward. I filed a complain with BBB which I know they won't response so I filed a complain also with the Massachusetts Attorney General Office. read more

So this is the second car I bought from them stupid me. They sold me a junk car with a bunch of issues. They made a million excuses to get out of fixing it. The ac was broken when I got the car they said they'll fix it no problem. Then they sent me to a place and I had to pay out of pocket for it. The sales man lied told me he got me a free warranty, and gap insurance and that my loan was only going to be 2 years. When I got the paper work it was a 4 year loan I payed almost 2000$ for the warranty and I have no gap insurance!!!! They charged told me they were only charging me 5,000 for the car I looked over the paper work And somehow they charges me 6500 for the car. They got cash out of me that wasn't on any of the paper work. Me as a young female buying a car I trusted in these men to not screw me over. They do fraud and they give any one a loan !! I financed a car at cityline back in sept 2014. They were able to get me approved for a 2006 Volvo with my credit being very poor due to bad descisions as a young adult. My interest rate was 21 percent. I recently went back to cityline after having the Volvo a little over a year. I was able to trade my car in and was approved for a 2011 Kia which by the way I'm in love with! Just from making my payments on time improved my credit dramatically! I went from paying 21 percent interest to 6.7!!!! The guys there made the process very easy and great customer service!
