UPDATE: The transmission blew on the car! Surprise, surprise! I got the title for the car 9/1/2020 Today is 1/20/21. Since then, my 21 year old son was diagnosed with a heart problem. I'm not even sure how to get him to the doctors now, His medication is $300 a month. I have no car. I'm disabled Can't afford a new car, they took all the savings I had. Truly disgusting. Please, do NOT do business with these people. I wish I spoke to people about this place beforehand. Not one good thing to say. These people have ZERO morals, scruples, or ethics, Seriously. It turns my stomach. I have NEVER been this screwed over in my life. I don't want to see this happen to anybody else. They essentially stole $10,000 dollars from me. They put me now in a situation that I cannot get out of. It's either pay for my son's medication, pay my rent, groceries etc. To keep a roof over me and my children's head. pray to God that people can give me rides to where I need to go... being sick myself. So that car was very detrimental... Not only for me to get to my doctors appointments, but now for my 21-year-old son who sleeps all day because he has a weak heart. Do not do business with this place! We went down on a Friday all the way from Haverhill for a car for my 18 year old daughter. Found what we wanted. Said we'd pay asking price. Got a call from the finance manager on Saturday to come pick up the car. This was a present for my daughter's high school graduation since COVID ruined so much for her. We drove back down from Haverhill, walked in and were told we needed to put down an additional $200 to get financing to work. I had approved financing from 2 other places. Greenleaf auto sales was the worst thing to ever happen to me . I bought a car from them in MAY of this year , upon driving the car I immediately knew it needed breaks I mentioned it and they said it would be fixed when I came to pick it up . I picked it up a few days later and the breaks infact were not fixed ; I had to drive back and get them fixed .... They only fixed TWO of the four breaks . A complete slap job , a month later my car started to drive weird , and my check engine light came on . It was a misfire ; I called them and the man said that they would have someone call me back ... nothing . I called 5 times over the weeks all with the same response ...none ! 3 months later my car will not drive and they're " unable to help me " because it's been 3 months . One year ago we bought a Honda Civic for $4200. They ignored my concerns about water in the car said it was just someone leaving the window down. It ended up being the windshield and every time it rained it soaked the dash and water came down on the driver and steering wheel. The engine overheated even though there were fluids in the car. It wasn't worth fixing according to a Honda dealership so off to a salvage for $400. Such a waste of money for a car that was sold in an extremely misleading way. Don't purchase any vehicles from that place. A similar experience happened to my nephew and now he's stuck with a junk car. They act friendly and trustworthy but it's just an act. They are easy to work with and we ultimately went, since it was my daughter's "dream" car, and her 1st purchase. Unfortunately, I didn't do my homework and have the car completely checked out, even with a Carfax report. I had a great experience buying a used 2010 Honda Element from Green Leaf in 2021. They took care of everything the car needed, followed through on everything I asked for, were responsive and easy to communicate with, and honored the amazing 30-day warranty. When I went to test drive the car, it drove great and looked like new, but I noticed the air conditioner didn't get very cold. By the time I went to pick it up, they had fixed it and it worked great. The warranty is amazing, and they honored it. It took a while to get the car to pass inspection because the engine check light kept coming on. Since I live in New Hampshire, it wasn't convenient for me to take it to Wally's mechanic, but Wally talked to my mechanic and sent me a check promptly for the work my mechanic did. When there was still a problem with the engine check light, I took the car back to Wally, and his mechanic solved it. Since then it has worked great. Rob was always accessible, friendly and helpful, and easy to communicate with. I would do business with them again. read more

There logo should be, "Looks can be deceiving." One year ago, My 2004 Toyota corolla got totaled from a drunk driver. So from doing extensive research on vehicles, I ended up choosing the one and only reliable Honda Civic Si. Very common car, not many issues with it in general on the bulletin boards, etc. Well, I finally found the car that I wanted. It was GORGEOUS... black, standard, 2007 Honda Si with 59k on it. I was told by the owner Abe that it had been checked out through his mechanics and it was in mint condition. The car fax was clear, everything looked good, so I purchased the car. Not far after purchasing it, I noticed that the car stereo system sounded really weird, Kinda crappy actually if you ask me, no bass, every time I put the volume up the whole system would shut off and re start it make it difficult to put back the settings to how I liked it. I later took a look in my back truck and noticed that the bass speaker had been RIPPED OUT of my car! (hence why there has been no bass to my vehicle.) I then called up Abe and told him the situation. He told me to bring it by, and it ended up being there for a couple of days. WELL, nothing was fixed. I MEAN NOTHING. TO this day, there is still no bass, and on top of it the speakers still blow and it stops the stereo and I have to configure back the dials to how I like it. They told me they they did "wiring" to the car, which they never did. They should of brought it to an ACTUAL car stereo system place that specializes in it. I told him that I wanted more bass and to have the stock system put back into my car. Well whatever, that is only the first thing. The next thing that happened was that I kept getting pulled over because of my exhaust. I told Abe this, and he told me that it was legal. Bullshit. It was not legal and the only way it passed inspection is because the sticker was put on at his DEALERSHIP.SO ONCE AGAIN I had to bring the car back for another couple days until they put on this UGLY muffler which wasn't even stock with the si. It looked like it belonged on a 1998 dodge stratus. Anyways, you get the point. I told him that all I wanted was a silencer kit put on my exhaust to make it quiet but he didn't listen. And now, recently, my transmission went in my car. I took it to my trusted family mechanic who has a transmission shop. Well he told me that previously to me owning this car, whoever owned it before me took out the transmission AND motor!!! He told me that the transmission oil was bone dry, that bolts were missing, parts were in the wrong place, and that he could literally screw out the bolts with his fingers. Basically, this car is a lemon car. I now have to deal with not only the headache of this vehicle, but because of all this, I have spend over $5,000 in repairs trying to fix this car. Abe is a liar. He told me that this car was inspected, that everything works beautifully and I would have this car for years. I know for a fact he knew about this transmission due to the simple fact that they do an extensive check on every car that they buy from auctions to make sure that it runs right and smoothly. And if not, they fix it so that there won't be any issues like the one I am running into. So, just for your own knowledge, please take this into great consideration as you may think "Oh this car is perfect for me, its beautiful, Abe told me that it is going to last me forever" well make sure you have a mechanic do an extensive research back round check because at the end of the day you are going to be paying for more then just the car, you are going to be paying for time spent in the shop, repair bills, and days when you can't get to work which means loss of income. THINK TWICE BEFORE GOING THERE I KNOW I WILL NEVER EVER RETURN THERE AS LONG AS I LIVE! If this helps just one person out, so be it. I had to share my story because he thinks he can drive around in these $100,000 cars, rip people off and sleep at night in his huge mansion. Well I hope whoever reads this looks elsewhere. Recently bought an suv from them. They were very helpful from the start being new to all of this. They were very welcoming and answered all the questions I had and was a great team. I bought the car that day and ran into a more serious issue with it a week later and was able to contact them that night. They sent a tow truck and offered to get me a cab. They kept me updated about my vehicle every few hours that weekend and gave me a rental through them until the issue was resolved. Unfortunately issues happen and they never tried to push me around they picked it up put in brand new parts and that was the end of it. I called to request info on a vehicle before I drove over an hour to go there. Specifically I asked if it had dings or scratches or anything else that I should know before driving there. I was told there were none. When I looked at the vehicle it had a lot of paint work as it had been in an accident as I saw on the carfax. It also had numerous dings in the drivers door, road paint on the wheel well and running board. It was a complete was of 3 hours of my day. Please excuse the above review, my cousin was extremely livid due to the fact I had to pay more then 1/3 of what i paid for the car, on repair bills. I bought my car less then a year ago.and I have spent 3500 on a new transmission and 2 weeks later my car broke again, needs new pistons and partial repair on my motor. Green Leaf Auto is a friendly place to walk into. good prices on there vehicles. the owner was nice enough to give me a rental while he took charge on a exhaust repair that needed to be done due to the fact that it was illegal and I kept getting pulled over. (it was still under warranty at this time.) one thing I would suggest when buying a vehicle from them is getting it looked at from your mechanic to avoid any issues that I unfortunately ran into with mine. Less then a year after I bought my vehicle, my transmission completely went. Whoever owned my car previously, took out my motor and transmission. the transmission oil was bone dry, and bolts were missing (according to my mechanic) and then two weeks later it broke again and this time its to do with my motor which is another 1000+ job. One thing I would suggest on there behalf is having a mechanic look at there cars before they sell them. I am not sure what there policy is, but thats just from my point of view. They were helpful and made everything a pretty easy. Personally I would rather go to a dealership that sells certified used cars, this way I know that the vehicle is certified and it comes with all the pros of owning a certified used vehicle. the owner is willing to work with you which is nice. This particular dealership seems to be running a scam. They offer a warranty that the average consumer may believe is necessary. Fortunately for the consumer you are able to cancel this within a certain amount of days. Once I noticed the warranty was not worth buying into I contacted the salesman who sold it to us. He told me I could return and sign paperwork that would cancel the contract for the warranty. He then told me that there would be a $400 fee; I handed him my credit card as I was in a rush to leave for vacation the following day. During my vacation I took the time to read the contract thoroughly -- no where in it did it say there would be a fee for cancellation. I called back & my money was returned. Had I not read the contract over a second time they would have kept my money. How greedy can they get? Buyer Beware. read more

DO NOT TRUST!!! I thought I had a good eye for detail, and I thought I was a good judge of character. Unfortunately, these guys are really good at covering up any flaws, and at lying. In November 2016 I purchased a 2012 Subaru outback with under 50,000 miles and it seemed to be in great shape mechanically and aesthetically. I also ran a check on Carfax, and it was clean. The owner of Green Leaf told me that he had painted the rear bumper just to cover up some scratches, which I was fine with. I don't mind some scratches or a little touch up. When I got home, I noticed a strange raised seam and paint under the hatchback. Somehow I missed it when I inspected the car. I took it to a body shop where they instantly recognized that a rear quarter panel had been replaced, and upon inspection noticed some other irregularities in the body. I called the owner of Green Leaf. he insisted that he had only painted the bumper to cover some scratches. Wanting to trust him, I returned to the body shop and asked if they were certain about their assessment. I was shown under the seal around the car door where the new quarter panel was installed, and the difference from the door on the opposite side of the car. It was also obvious that the rear door had been replaced on the same side that the quarter panel had been, because the white of the replacement door was showing through under the green paint that had been applied to match the car. I would love to believe that the owner is innocent and did not know, but this guy has been in business for too long to not notice what I failed to notice, and he offered no explanation for the seam and paint, but instead just repeated that the bumper had been painted, which isn't even the same part of the car. As time has gone by I have discovered more and more irregularities, and I am experiencing some, as of yet minor, mechanical issues. As I don't know what truly happened to the car, I can't help but wonder what I might run into next. I considered writing a review earlier, but wanted to focus on trying to enjoy the car and just move on. However, as I encounter more problems, I think it is my duty to warn anyone thinking about buying a car there. Play it safe- DO NOT! read more

I thought I was buying an older car at a great price...wrong. I bought a car with significant electrical problems that the dealership offered to fix at my insistence, but did not fix. They had my car for several days and only returned my calls to check on my car after I would call several times. The issue is still not resolved nor did they call to follow up afterwards.
