Found them via Yelp and they were extremely reliable, responsive and honest. I had a problem with my old GE dishwasher (d/w) and compared several vendors before finalizing them. Aman shared via Yelp how the process worked and sent Alex the next day accommodating my busy schedule. Alex came on time and took the time to properly diagnosed the issue. He did not rush or try to scam like mechanics are known for. He was honest, reasonable and fair to share repair estimates and pros/cons of replace/repair. I am glad I went with his recommendation of repair. The part was procured by him the next day and he came in 3 days back to fix the Dishwasher. Alex as extremely patient, polite, respectful. I had a dishwasher drain hose leak for a while that got worse. Checked Yelp yesterday afternoon and selected Smart Appliance Fix with appointment this morning. I was impressed I did not even have to say a word at the door and he was putting on his shoe covers. Wow! He found the real problem and went beyond. In addition, it turned out my dishwasher was not even bolted down and secured. Hose was also kinked behind dishwasher. Before he left, he made sure the dishwasher was secure, drained properly, and inspected everywhere for any water leaks - none found! Successfully repaired our issue (the external pipes needed to be replaced , this caused water to overflow through the drain and under our deli tray) . My fridge/freezer had ice building up on the back wall and was not staying cold. I tried defrosting manually several times and the problem kept coming back. Aman came out to examine and was very friendly. He let me know that the issue was likely due to a bad compressor and that I should check with the manufacturer to see if it would still be converted under warranty. Just like all the other 5 star reviews, we are very happy with the repair service provided by Smart Appliance Fix. Their return call was quick and had someone out the following day. Luckily we had Alex as our technician, who was highly noted by other reviewers. He was professional, quick to troubleshoot the issue and gave us the best estimate for the task. Our 15 yr. old Thermador range needed a couple of burner parts replaced and a new microchip for the electronic board that controlled the on/off and simmer function on the burners. This part was no longer available from the manufacturer and are only very expensive refurbished items on Ebay. Alex suggested sending the unit to an associate electronic company for the repair. It took 2 weeks to complete the board repair due to the scarcity of the part. The final repair service needed two technicians (both professional - Alex & Aman) to drill-through the rusty burners on-top and replace the board at the bottom of the range. Now everything works perfectly. I would definitely call on them again for their services. read more

I used Smart Appliance Fix after reading their outstanding reviews on Yelp. Aman arrived on time and explained to me that there was nothing wrong with the compressor on our Frig ( we had been told by another company that it needed to be replaced at a cost of $1500+)! He proceeded to inspect the frig and found lots of dirt. He was not planning to charge us for the visit but I asked him to clean that area of the frig. He used a special cleaning chemical then told me to monitor the temperature gauges . The freezer should be 0 and frig 38 ( I never knew this!!!). We recently did a routine clean of our microwave when it stopped working. The electrical worked, but it was not heating up the food.
