#3 sliders combos with queso & smauce on the side.
Madonna M.

My sliders were hot and delicious. I ordered the #3, with queso & smauce on the side. My waffle fries were hot, crispy, and fresh out of the grease, with a cold Arnold Palmer ots. The service was decent, it wasn't quick but my food was hot and fresh. The staff was courteous and kind. The ambiance was peaceful because I went through the drive thru.

3 Cheeseburger Slider Combo

I like to get the 3 cheeseburger slider combo. The sliders here are a simple yet satisfying guilty pleasure of mine. The buttery soft bread melts in your mouth, complementing the well-seasoned ground meat, and is cooked to perfection. It's always extra cheesy, and so comforting to indulge in. I'm not a sauce person, so I never get the sauce or pickles. The fries are crispy and golden, the perfect pairing. Don't forget the Queso dip for your fries. It's the ultimate finishing touch that takes this to the next level.

We order 4 cheese sliders with fries. Delicious. We brought our two kids who wanted raising canes. They brought out two more sliders for free.

Over $10 for a 2 slider combo, which only consists of a patty, a pickle, a bun, and cheese. No sauce was given, j guess you have to ask. Very plain. The waffle fries are okay, with the ketchup.

Chas and my friend Chloe had been to Smalls Sliders already and they said I absolutely needed to check them out when I got back down to the Nola area. Yeah ok...don't threaten me with food! Upon pulling up it immediately gave off a Chic Fil A feel with the way the drive thru was setup and how people were working the drive-thru taking orders on foot. It also in a way gave off a checkers feel by the look of the building and limited seating outside. Neither of those things were a plus or minus for me honestly, but I could see the drive thru being something people don't love because once you're in it, there's no way out so if they're super busy, you're stuck. We grabbed some cheeseburger sliders with bacon meals. The food came out fairly quickly and everything looked and smelled great. I mean, if you go into this thinking you're going for white castle, you're going to be insanely surprised. I have been to many slider spots so I was aware of what was to come, but I think people associate sliders with white castle or krystal and that is just not the game anymore. Plenty of meat, bacon, and cheese and the rolls were soft and fresh. I'm not sure what else I could even say about them. Cooked well and seasoned well. I never get waffle fries at chic fil a because they're always lukewarm and not crispy but these waffle fries were good, I have no complaints about them. Price was right in line with what it should be also. Smalls Sliders in Metairie, LA - Didn't Suck! Biggie sliders!!
Crystal B.

These little big sliders are super tasty and filling. I don't eat a lot of red meat anymore but boy oh boy when I got these, I was like, "you sure you wanna give up red meat??" They were hot, fresh and juicy. As my husband and I first time here, we ordered two of these biggie sliders with fries. When we got the order, I told the lady we're missing a box. Apparently, they put both sliders in one container lol. So, just be aware of that before you get home and realize you're missing food lol. On another note, there is a long wait so be prepared to spend a little time in drive thru or perhaps go and order inside. Not sure that timeframe but I recommend these sliders for sure!

I'm not sure I understand why there's such a long line. It's better than White Castle, but it's not something that I'd run back to have again. I had the combo a with regular fries. The sauce was tasty, but I suspect I didn't appreciate it as much as others. If your into burgers, it's worth trying but suggest starting with a smaller quantity and place you'd order as a walk up as opposed to waiting in a line that's longer than chik fil a.

I've visited twice before doing a review just so I had time to really assess. I thought the hype would have died down a bit by now, but on my second visit, I still waited 40 minutes in line. As others have stated, the fact that you can't get out of line after you get there is very problematic and should be rethought for safety and efficacy reasons at the very least. The food: on my first visit, I was pretty impressed with the sliders, albeit they were a bittttt greasy! I did not like the fries. They tasted like nothing at all. It was weird. When I went today, I felt the sliders were just ok. Maybe once the staff are fully set in and the place isn't constantly busy, they'll be more consistent.

So we attended on opening day. While a way was definitely to be expected, I most certainly didn't think it was going to be a 2 and a half hour wait. Once we entered the drive through, we were completely STUCK! As a Human Resources and business operations professional, I'm always tracking data to improve quality and service. When I got to the speaker to order, similar to Chick fil A, there were two staff present taking orders. They appeared to be very exhausted. I asked the order taker how long she thought the wait time was. She stated that it was supposed to be 3-5 minutes. Surely I figured she must've misunderstood what I was asking, and rephrased the question, "From the point of view of entry into the drive through line this evening, how long do you think people are waiting?" She repeated what she said before. I said, well I understand what it's supposed to be, and giving grace because it's so. We, however our wait time thus far has been 2 hours. She didn't seem bothered by it. I proceeded to order a 4 slider meal with 2 milkshakes. At that point, we were told that the milkshake machine was tired and wasn't working as they had sold over 300 milkshakes earlier in the day. I said, it would have been nice to know that when we initially entered the line and was given these paper menus. Another 20 minutes later we were at the wind onto receive our order. The manager from Atlanta was assisting and apologized, and handed us 2 free Combo 1 cards. The food was hot and fresh, though the burgers seemed to have been cooked on a grill that needed some cleaning. They were extremely greasy and you could taste the grease. The Queso was very good and the fries were hot as were the burgers. NOTE TO MANAGEMENT: 1. Time how long the lines are taking for process improvement and let people know prior to entering the line. 2. There was a better use of time for the 4 individuals in the parking lot walking around telling people to pull up an inch. They could/should have been assisting with processing orders. 3. If there is an item not on the menu, post a sign or let customers know before sitting in line for 2+ hours. I'm happy to consult on an operational and/or human resource perspective. I'm sure we'll be back but I'll allow the hype to die down a bit and let the team improve their systems.

Number two in the menu with added queso !!

Ordered 4 sliders and got 3, check your bags before leaving unless you want to drive all the way back for the extra mid tasting slider.

The sliders themselves were good. I really enjoyed the milkshakes. It was a bit overhyped to me, but I see why some people enjoy it.

In the restaurant business, we all have a switch: once the doors open, it flips. Until then, you're seeing people exactly as they are. This team is genuine. Hands down. Yes, I know, I'm technically here for a king cake. Standing in line for a king cake from a famous fried chicken company almost feels satirical. But watching the entire team sit down together for a meal an hour before service told me everything I needed to know about the leadership and the values of this company. People matter here. You can see why the sandwiches are as good as they are. You can feel why the king cake is worth the wait. This team operates like a family; kind to one another, intentional, and connected. The food is made with care because the people are cared for. I'm not here to review the food (which is phenomenal) or the king cake. I'm here to review the brand. This is the kind of business we should be proud to support as a community. Keep it up.

I also like that they feature a daily special that isn't on the regular menu--it adds a nice element of variety. Everything is cooked to order, which is definitely a plus. Just keep in mind that most of the menu is fried, so this isn't the place to go if you're looking for a particularly healthy meal.

It's been almost 5 years since I've been to Shake Shack, so we decided to stop by and try it out…read moreagain. The inside was pretty standard and neat, but there are multiple touch screen kiosks where you can place your order which I found really convenient. Service was also okay, but just standard. For our meal, we got their Big Shack Burger ($11.99), Parmesan Garlic Fries ($4.99), & Large Pomegranate Sweet Basil Lemonade ($4.99). Everything was delicious! You could tell the burger was made fresh compare to McDonalds or Burger King. The Parmesan covered fries dipped in their garlic sauce added some rich flavor to the fries. The pomegranate lemonade was not overly sweet and had a sour pomegranate taste to it which I really liked. Even though our meal tasted great, the sizing of the food was really small. In contrast to the drinks, the burgers and fries came in one size. We felt like it should've been bigger for the pricing of everything. Overall, a bit overpriced but still a pretty good burger chain in the Metairie area.

As they grew, they expanded their menu. One of the many reasons to go here is to taste they're made fresh to order food. Vast expansive menu. Especially to note they added doggie treats and ice cream. So I assume pets are welcome? Be sure to keep them leashed and mindful of your surroundings. For your information. You will love them cause they are one of few fast casual restaurants that caters towards your allergies and dietary needs. They have few spots in the Crescent City. We just happen to be in Metairie location. This particular location is a little different and easier to get to. Besides the traffic. They cannot control. I like this location better since the parking lot is right next to it. Unlike other locations. Tend to be a bit of walk from the parking lot to the restaurant. This happens to be right next to it. This has an outdoor seating. Cannot say much of the view but it is very nice and enjoyable. Definitely recommend it as long as weather permits. It is semi shady and with ceiling fans and few plants to make it more comfortable. As we walked in they have a large lobby/dinning area. They have several small ordering tablets on the side for people to order. They do not accept cash at time I believe? (Card only) We started out with: The Big Shack - Two quarter-pound*, 100% Angus beef patties made to order, topped with secret sauce, green leaf lettuce, American cheese, pickles, tomatoes, and onions on a three-layer toasted potato bun. ShackBurger - angus beef cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce on a toasted potato bun. Chicken Shack -Antibiotic-free, hand-breaded, white-meat chicken breast over lettuce, pickles, and buttermilk herb mayo on a toasted potato bun. Parmesan Garlic Fries -Crispy crinkle cuts dusted with parmesan cheese served with a side of roasted garlic parmesan aioli. Onion Rings - Crispy beer-battered onion rings made from sliced sweet Spanish onions served with your choice of sauce. Fries Crispy crinkle cut fries We washed it down with: Cookies and Cream Shake - chocolate cookie crumbles hand spun with our house-made vanilla frozen custard. Pomegranate Sweet Basil Lemonade - Pomegranate, basil, and lemongrass mixed with our Shack-made lemonade. Mango Passionate - Mango and passion fruit puree mixed with our Shack-made lemonade. All was made fresh to order. When you order. Grab a table number. They will make fresh to order and bring it to your table by the number. For your information they have plenty of tables. Be cautious about where you sit. It is a bit chilly inside due to it is open kitchen. Especially cold if you sit and the vent happens to above you. We ended moving to another booth. we did not sit under the vent. They have plenty of tables and booths inside. And several tables outside too. All are hard wood seats with no padding as far as I know. No drive-thru at this time. Why would you want fresh food in hurry. In my opinion. If you are in the mood for a fast casual meal. They definitely have your stomach in mind and calm down your hunger. We were so satisfied and the food is delicious! Especially how fresh and made to order. A little bit of a wait. Well worth it! In my opinion. Give them a try and see for yourself. I enjoyed it and I know you will too. They do have free WiFi as far as I know for customers.
