Price was very high for a burger, $12 which I don't mind paying if it's good. But, when I have to dip it and I mean drown it in catsup to keep from chocking on it because it's so dry there's a problem with paying $12. And it's not like I could have just ate my side because the burger doesn't come with any. And, I couldn't have drank in between bite because my drink wasn't refilled. LOVED it! The beer- hubby had an IPA, said it was really good. Then, a milk stout and said it was fantastic! Food- we had several things, but hands down the best was the Kung Fu Cauliflower! So good, we kept trying to think how we could recreate this delicacy at home. Zucchini chips were really good too. Hubby had the Madmen burger & was very happy. One of the kids had the kids chicken & waffle. Huge portion for $6 bucks! Really good too. We couldn't leave without ordering a couple of the gigantic, amazing shakes. Beer was pretty good and the styles were different. Had a hefe-weizen that was pretty good and a high alcohol quad weighing in at 10% that was turbo. Wife enjoyed a raspberry lambic. Burgers were great and the sundaes were crazy big and worth the visit alone. Seating is first come first serve so it can be difficult to get a table when busy and since there's no waiting list it leads to people hovering around your table waiting for it to open. This place had great food and was super friendly. As a new, first time dog owner I'm still learning the places you can take your dog to eat with you. We elected outside seating having no clue that the dog could have went inside with us. I did go inside both areas (burger batch/small batch) and they were clean and pretty good size for sitting. I actually liked the bar side better because it was more wooded decoration and not so bright. Bathrooms were clean as well. Our waitress was phenomenal! First thing she did was bring my doggie a big bowl of water. It was really sunny out and pup was very appreciative. The burger options were insane and you could even build your own. We got the bbq batch and two morning Afters, one with beer cheese and the other with pork belly.... And a loaded fries that was big enough for three people to share. I took my wife there today. The burger was excellent, the tots were great. My wife had a shrimp Po Boy that she didn't like at all. The service was terrible. My wife added something to her order which got some eye roll. I didn't want their $5 Fireball shooter, which got some eye roll. I ordered a shake to go, which is $9.00. After she brought the shake, she disappeared. 15 minutes later, after I had to grab someone else so we could pay our bill, she comes back. I asked for a new shake because mine was liquid now. She didn't seem thrilled that I wanted a new one. These girls need to learn that if they want to show some attitude, they need to make sure the customer can't see or hear them. Just left this place have to say worse service I have ever had!!! We were seated as soon as we entered, 30mins till our drink orders were taken. Let me tell u how I got here and my experience. I asked another establishment one block away where I could get a milk shake - they sent me to this place. Upon arrival to BB I noticed the place was full of kids - mostly little girls. I asked the hostess for shake menu - asked her for the Oreo shake to go. That's when the issue "for them" started. Hostess said that they don't do milk shakes to go because of some reasons that don't make sense to a paying customer such as: it's a $10 shake, they are huge, tons of whip cream, the person who makes the shake doesn't have the to go cups near them, they don't have the space in the back to stock to go materials, etc... She gave my order to a waitress right in front of me - the waitress seemed confused that a customer would be asking for a to go shake. The hostess, after putting in my order, told me that there were places I could go to get a shake to go. I responded by saying that if I knew of other places I would have gone particularly because these other places offer shakes to go. I asked her what are the names of these other place. After I said that, she responds by saying "do you want me to cancel your order"? - I said no, I want to try the shake no matter the cost. The shake finally arrived. It was a very good tasting shake. As for paying $10 for a to go shake - not worth it. $5 would be ideal. In closing, I would not go back to this place even if they gave me the shake for free! The owners need to better train their employees - how to handle unexpected situations such as a to go order: either you have to go or not. As a former business owner, the staff should make the customer feel like their always right - even though they might not be. We are in town for a convention. We come here every two months! When we arrived on Friday. We had to get something to eat. BB came into view. Eight of us went together. We all ordered hamburgers. And split frys. The hamburgers were fantastic and the Frys were exceptional and I love fresh frys. They weren't the fastest service but the food was great! The shake was really milky could barely taste the oreo. The food wasn't good. They mixed up me and my girlfriends order. I ordered medium well and she ordered well done. They mixed that up and my girlfriend couldn't finish her burger. The refilling of drinks was really slow. They also have a fly problem. A really cool little place in Winston with a very unique selection of small batch beers (thus the name). Really enjoyed the spurs and sours and the nachos were incredible. Let me start by saying that the food was great, especially the milkshake, but the service left a lot to be desired and prevented my coworker and I from fully enjoying our meal. We were constantly asked if we were ready for the check and then rushed to pay once they themselves decided to place it on our table without us asking. The employees also took away a dish we weren't finished with after calling what was left crumbs. All day long I received the busy signal on the phone but was excited to try this restaurant, so I persisted! Finally, the phone was answered by a woman named Joanne.
