First off, the store is HUGE. I find it hard to believe that you will not find what you are looking for there. They seriously seem to have EVERYTHING! I was also pleasantly surprised with how helpful and nice all the staff were during my visit. Because of the size of the store, I was having some difficulty finding exactly what I was looking for but a member of staff kindly guided me. The cashier was also super nice and let me know about upcoming events and deals to look out for. I definitely will be coming back and want to check out their wine tasting and cocktail events. Thanks y'all!

It is located in a run-down shopping center on Sheridan Blvd close to Willis Case Golf Course. I was impressed by the size and selection at this place. It is larger than many other strip mall liquor stores. Prices are lower than I expected. I always use handles of mid quality vodka as a baseline (usually $20 at Applejack/Total Beverage). Here, handles cost about $23. I was hoping to report that they sold me the winning Powerball ticket, but I did not win. On the other hand, I did win when I purchased a Manhattan in a can and drank it with my breakfast burrito on Saturday morning.

It's a quick in'n'out on Sheridan. They were open on Thanksgiving when most places were closed or only open till noon. This definitely saved me when I decided last minute to grab a bottle of wine and crash a friend's dinner. The people that work here are cool. They're not creepy or sleazy like the place by King Soopers (you KNOW what I'm talkin about if you live in the hood). Being a young female, I feel comfortable heading into this place solo, and that's saying a lot.

I've been staying at home, but was out of some of the beer I wanted to use. I went out for another errand and happened to pass by Cask and Craft. Hmmm...this sounds interesting. Plus it's a local shop, and I'm all about supporting local, particularly during this time. I pulled up Cask and Craft's website and was super happy to see the list of precautions they are taking to keep their customers safe. Some of these precautions include only 2 people in the shop at a time, use provided hand sanitizer when you enter, and even curbside pick up/delivery. Since I was sitting in front of the store, I figured I'd just go in, get what I needed, and quickly head home. I was greeted and asked to use the hand sanitizer upon entering - yes, thank you. I then explained from a distance that I was looking for a dark beer, preferably a stout. I was escorted to the back of the store and shown the fridge with all the dark beer. WOW! big selection. I had the choice of 6 packs, 4 packs, or mix and match. This was perfect for me because I needed 5 beers. I ended up selecting Jackie O's Java the Stout. When I brought up my 5 pack, the owner told me it was a great beer (one of his favorite dark beers) and that it was a solid choice. He was not wrong. This beer is awesome, and paired so well with my peanut butter cookie pairing. So good. I will definitely be back to Cask and Craft. Their shop is filled with all different types of wine, liquor, and beer. It's organized so nicely, and the shop itself has this comforting vibe when you walk in. I'm so appreciative of everything they are doing to keep customers safe and for the recommendations they give.

I can find all of the beers they have at other spots, so no need to deal with that. I now stop there only out of convenience and probably won't after this post. I just wish they would drop the front and bring back the idea that their special selection is for everyone. There are spots around town that are much more approachable.
